Angel from Guzman Electric just finished installing new lighting in our laundry room and did a fantastic job. From the estimate visit to the installation and cleanup, Angel was extremely professional and proficient. He arrived on time or slightly earlier than promised on both visits, and was finished with the installation of two overhead LCD fixtures in what seemed like record time! All told, it was a great experience have Guzman Electric take care of this job and I can highly recommend them if you need electrical work done!

Nothing electrical worked in one end of the house. Angel Guzman found the problem and fixed it at a good, reasonable price. And he responded the same day to my call for assistance.

Angel installed some stair lights for us up to our roof deck and we would highly recommend him! Before, we didn’t have any lighting so the stairs were quite treacherous at night. Angel was prompt when I reached out, was able to quickly schedule a consultation visit, and the lights were installed a week later. Overall, friendly, professional, reasonably priced and awesome work!

Angel did a safety inspection for my condo including bringing my recessed lighting up to Arlington County code. He also applied for the permit from the county, making my job easy. He was very professional & friendly. He waited until the entire process was complete before collecting payment. I recommend Guzman Electrical.

I contacted Guzman Electric to replace a damaged electrical circuit and install a new sub-panel. I was provided with several options for solving my issue ranging from lower to higher cost and also detailed cost estimates for each. Angel, the owner, was responsive and very pleasant to work with. Guzman is not only amazing but honest!
I have been so disappointed by so many electricians I can’t count them in both my fingers and toes.

Any large electrical company is going to send their wise ass for 5 min and give you an outrageous quote saying it’s the most difficult thing they’d have ever done. Why they do this I have no idea. Maybe because there are enough fools in the world. Or they simply do not want to do a job.

In my frustration I decided to do a more detailed search. Really checking on people’s credentials. I called Angel the owner of Guzman electric. Didn’t know him from Adam. He gave me a quote that in my calculation was probably right for the job (laying a 75 foot 240v line with a 30 amp disconnect for a mini split). Without batting an eyelid he said such a project should not need be more than $1200. I asked why don’t you come over and take a look anyway. Maybe the fishing etc is indeed difficult. He said sure I’d come but why would you want to pay for an estimate when I can tell you from experience this is not really a difficult job. “Most of the expense is in the cost of materials but it leaves me with a sufficient profit”, he said.

I have no problems with anyone making a profit. It’s the American way. And Angel was not only more American but an honest American.
He delivers on a terrific project. Took the time to explain what he was doing. Didn’t try to sell me anything new. The only thing he suggested was perhaps a house-wide surge protector. Which I will consider down the road.

Towards the end of the day I asked him if he could put in two more outlets. He had time and did that as well.

Then I was surprised further. I knew exactly what he priced things at but gave me a further discount on the basis of the time it actually took.

I was flabbergasted. Never had I experienced such a positive experience with an electrician.

And in case you naysayers are doubting, Guzman is licensed!

You have to be stupid not to even ask this guy to give you an estimate. And btw I am not suggesting he is “cheap”. What I am suggesting is that he is honest. You want peanuts go to a monkey.

Angel guzman is not peanuts he is just honest and damned good at what he does.

Guzman Electric is both professional, and friendly. These guys make you like them. 😁 A rare combination in people who work. I highly recommend them if you have any electrical work. I've watched this team install recessed lights in a room that had no space for them, and troubleshoot my broken electrical appliances.
Chose them if you need a job done the right way.

I was having a tough time getting an hold of major electrician companies in the area who could accommodate my schedule. Angel was responsive, on-time, hard-working, communicative and he did an AMAZING job replacing 1 outdoor, and 2 indoor light fixtures. He also covered one of our smoke alarm holes that was protruding out of the ceiling. He gave our hallway a total refresh and we’re so grateful! And the price point was EXCELLENT. Will definitely be calling Angel for any future electrician needs.

Angel was great. Very efficient and effective. My house is old and some things are quirky. He was very diligent in solving those.. Angel provides a detailed estimate before he begins. As he works he keeps you informed of any changes. While he works he also informs you of other things that should be fixed because of age or code. No hard sell, just information.

Can not recommend Angel and his team enough. From my initial call until he fixed our electrical issue, he was communicative, professional, friendly, and charges reasonable rates. He navigated resolving our problem while our child was napping. After one visit, he is our electrician for any future needs. 10/10

Enormously grateful for the outstanding electrical work done by Mr. Guzman to rewire and upgrade the breaker box in my home built in 1911. A certified, professional electrician, Mr. Guzman assessed the job, provided a written estimate, and scheduled the job at the best time for me. Guzman Electric did a great job for us…the best service I’ve received in years. Angel was extremely responsive, kept me updated on the work, and helped organize all the different parties involved. We were having crazy power outages and dimming in our house and he quickly diagnosed the problem, and got Dominion to fix it and replaced a very outdated panel. Angel and Diego are both extremely competent, professional, extremely easy to work with, and truly care about the needs of the customer. I can’t recommend them strongly enough!

Angel was great at diagnosing my car charger issues, explaining what needed to be corrected, and giving me clear and honest pricing. He had to correct the mistakes of a previous electrician and everything is working perfectly now. I will definitely be keeping Angel in my contact list for any future electrical needs.

I couldn’t be more impressed with the service I received from Guzman Electric LLC. From the moment I called (after hours), they were incredibly prompt—arriving early the very next morning, exactly when they said they would. What really stood out was Angel's willingness to answer all my questions and explain every step of the work they were doing in a way I could easily understand.

They were brought in to fix some dangerously poor workmanship from the original installer (my home is only four yrs old). Basement lights and outlets were not working. What they found was several neutral wires had started to burn, which could have resulted in a serious fire if left unaddressed. Angel took the issue seriously, diagnosed the problem, and corrected everything with care and professionalism.

Angel Guzman is a true expert and professional electrician. Besides being an amazing technician, he is prompt, honest, provides fair pricing commensurate with his excellent skills, and an excellent communicator. He delivers beyond the actual work: he reproduced a printed, accurate diagram of my electrical panel replacing the incomplete and inaccurate handwritten diagram posted by previous electricians--at no charge. He discovered and fixed not to code an unsafe electrical wiring on my hot tub that hand been installed many years ago by previous owners. He removed ugly, unnecessary, excess exterior cables at no charge. He is by far the best of the five electricians I have used in 18 tears for work on my home. You might find an electrician who charges a little less, but you will not find anyone more technically expert and who leave you with a feeling of peace of mind that your home is better and safer due to his work! He is now on my speed dials for any and all future electrical work I require on my home. Well done, Angel, and thank you!

Excellent electrician near me! A real quality no nonsense guy. Angel installed HDMI cable for my home theater and managed some challenging wiring issues. When I am looking to do my upcoming remodeling, lighting and EV charger (electric vehicle charger), electrical panel replacement project, ;) Guzman Electric will be my go to guys. They also do commercial electrical work so residential electrical is easy for them.

After reading reviews on several platforms, I decided to call Angel at Guzman Electric. He and his crew were amazing. They explained the work that needed to be done and pricing before beginning the work. New porch light installed and a few other small items fixed. Definitely will use them again.

He did an excellent job installing the Exit Line equipment and connecting the electrical lines. His work is very professional, accurate, and reliable. I truly appreciate his effort and the quality of his work.
