Products are a little lacking, but it's still out of season. Everything should be full in a couple of weeks, after season comes in. Salesperson was very helpful.

The customer service is terrible in the garden department, I bought the Suv and trailer to get the 40 bags of dirt I need to build the garden beds my aging father wants to play in. I was told to pull up at the drive through location, when I got there the gates were locked. Finally after calling the store someone came out, with no keys to unlock the gate and asked if I could backup in a very narrow space, I tried yet didn't want to run into cars stopped. After 10 more minutes they finally brought my dirt out on a hand cart. Shortly after they finally opened the gate, a little too late.

I called Matt at BWS Landscaping for one of my customers properties in Ashland va he was quick to swing by and give an estimate, affordable and did a great job cleaning up.

I contacted BWS Landscaping and Brad answered the phone. He took the time to listen to my project dilemma, directed me toward a solution, even though there was no business opportunity for him. Should I ever require the services BWS Landscaping provides, I would not hesitate to contact them. I believe they are first class.

Had a medium sized landscape project to be done after installation of pool. Needed sod, screening plants, a sidewalk, mulch beds, and a natural area cleared, graded, and seeded. Quote process was excellent and fast, good plan diagrams and pictures to give a great idea of what finished product would look like. My add ons in process were handled. The actual work was little slow and sloppy. They were supposed to power seed, but we got some rain and had to post pone. I was told the power seeder would not be available for 3-4weeks which really pushed us outside the seeding window. So they threw some seed on ill prepared ground. I called them on it and they came back and used an aerator to rough up the soil, but they had the wrong seed and told me they would come back tomorrow to put down the right seed. They came back a few days later after I called them and threw down some more seed, but by now the aeration had hardened and it wasn't very good. My main beef with these guys is their lack of execution on the seeding side of the project. Soil prep and timing are everything when seeding. They failed on both ends. I am told they will come back this fall and overseed as part of the seeding process. Hope so.

My experience with BWS Landscaping was nothing short of excellent. While it took a few months for me to decide to hire them, Josh, the Landscaping supervisor, was patient, professional and communicated very well with me.
The two landscapers that came, Vlad and Turner, were not only knowledgeable, but extremely hard working and you could tell that they had passion for their craft.
I would hire BWS Landscaping again in a second and I recommend anyone in the Richmond and especially my neighbors in the Church Hill area to hire them for their landscaping expertise.
