Huge shoutout alert…🚨

Imagine getting home from out of town and your HVAC/ Furnace is not working? Not a fun experience to be welcomed home from sunny Florida. Nonetheless, the pan below the furnace was full. There was water all over the floor in the utility room and I was very exhausted from a long day of traveling.

I immediately called Justin at Artic Sun at 9pm at night and he was ready to serve. Yes, at 9pm on a Thursday evening and he was available to help us. After 30 minutes of identifying exactly where the issue was coming from, we had confirmed the issue. We have a whole house humidifier and the line backed up and then backed up inside the unit. Justin was very urgent about this matter and wanted to come to our home to ensure we had a working furnace. We politely mentioned to him that if they could work us in the following day that we would accommodate his schedule. It’s 9am on Friday and Justin has completely fixed the problem and we are back up running! He even was on his hands and knees wiping and drying everything off. It is very rare today to be treated so well especially in this type of service industry. We truly felt like we were there only customer.

Sam showed up on time for my fall serving and quickly got to work. He took care of our upstairs main unit and replaced the filter for it, then came down stairs to the basement and serviced our three multi split units, ensuring each set of the filters was cleaned and reinstalled. He then checked the outside compressor and cleaned it since it was dirty. I have had Arctic Sun for about 10 years, and have appreciated all the services I received for free through my membership that include the fall and spring inspections/cleanings.

I thought my dog had once again been chewing on the wires, so I asked that they come back out. Frank proved her innocence and showed me what to look for if I suspect her in the future!

The people in the office at Artic Sun are very friendly and helpful. The Service is fast and efficient. You can reach them anytime. Sam, the technician is very knowledgeable and helpful. He takes the time to show you how things work and even points out things you can do to take care of your system to possibly prevent a service call later. They are the best!

The teck was every efficient and accomplished one request I had in addition to inspecting the furnace, said he did not have the required filter on his truck but would come by and replace later.

He also took care of our rental house, the renters has not comments on the serve but based on my experience I’m sure it was excellent.

Billy is knowledgeable and explained everything very well. Took the time to assess, and exhausted all options for repair. Keeping us informed each step of the way. Will use Arctic again for future hvac needs!

I recently moved into my new home and wanted to have my heating unit checked. I contacted Arctic Sun Heating and Cooling as they were the one’s who installed the unit for the prior owner. Frank came out this morning and checked everything over and answered all my questions. He was punctual, knowledgeable and friendly. He put my mind at ease. So glad I contracted with Arctic Sun!

Arctic Sun provided great customer service in getting to my house quickly to help get my heat back on. Billy was also very helpful and informative educating me on ways to help better maintain my AC system.

Billy always completes a thorough inspection of our units for our biannual heating and cooling checks. He is knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. We appreciate his hard work in keeping our house heating/cooling working efficiently.

The entire experience w Arctic Sun was great! Our furnace died in the middle of the current ice cold weather, after the ice storm. Wanda sent Billy out here first thing, he worked a long time on it, even going out to pick up a part. Justin came out w the new part. They were all very pleasant and did everything they could to help us out. I don’t know that we’ve seen service this dedicated before. This is a first class operation! I highly recommend Arctic Sun!

My furnace had shut off and I called Arctic Sun at 3:30pm on Tuesday. My service tech Billy was there at 5:00 and determined that I had no oil. The oil folks had royally screwed up with my automatic refill and they came on Wednesday to fill my tank. Billy arrived this afternoon (had to wait until then so someone was home) and he checked and reset the furnace. This company is always so responsive and I’m so thankful for them. The office personnel, Wanda is awesome too!

Tech came out on short notice to help facilitate work that required disconnecting and moving my AC unit. He was friendly, helpful, explained what he was doing, and assisted me in making sure the work area was clean for the additional work to be done. Very much appreciate the attitude and willingness to help when I was very stressed. These guys have done work for me before and I really appreciate their service!

Tech came out to complete R&R of outside unit for plumbing work. Unit immediately blew fuses and breakers! Much troubleshooting later we determined the unit was good and that the wiring feeding had apparently failed when the outside unit had been moved to facilitate digging. Tech and apprentice were relentless in finding the fault without pushing for an easy replacement. Once it was determined the unit itself wasn’t the cause they carefully checked every part. They didn’t take an easy path that would’ve been expensive for me and were extremely patient. It was cold, it rained, hours were spent solving this puzzle!

In the end by taking careful steps the techs found what had to be the failed component. Their fee was reasonable and not far off the original quote, a massive relief for my worn out wallet.

I *think* Justin was the tech but I’m certain the guys on this call will remember it back at the shop! These two were pros, friendly, knowledgeable, and neither got frustrated despite the conditions. I absolutely recommend these good honest people!

Billy was amazing. He had a very hectic schedule but still honored his commitment to come to my home after hours. He was incredibly polite and respectful of my home. I especially appreciated his honesty in that I would likely need another service call, and I’m just fine with that because I have found a conscientious HVAC contractor.

Each year, we look forward to our hvac appts with Zach. Because he is so skilled and intuitive, we've gotten all of our issues fixed in 1 visit w/ rare exceptions for when we needed to order parts. He is so thoughtful. When I mentioned how difficult it was to replace the filters, he found online the size with wiggle room that would fit in non-standard openings -and only after trying to adjust the opening and ridges first. His priority is also to keep our units running reliably. What a refreshing change from the continuous attempts to exaggerate issues or push add on's as most contractors - hvac or otherwise, - have always done with us. The service this family-owned company provides is priceless because we get level quality and honesty at lower-end fees.

Have been using A-Adkins for awhile. Really like them. They do good work at a reasonable price and I haven't seen a grouchy worker in the bunch. They are always happy to answer any questions I have and explain what needs to be done and why. And they aren't rushing me to replace an old furnace/AC unit just because it's old. It still works and they are happy to keep an eye on it and service it from time to time. I highly recommend them!

They respond quickly to schedule appointments and are very polite. They clearly explain any issues or concerns and are pleasant to talk to. I feel like I'm dealing with honest people who are dedicated to their work.

AAdkins is great. From unit replacement to regular seasonal checkups to service call. Always a pleasure. For my two systems fall heat check up, $75 ea. good investment going into new season
