Tony and his crew did a fantastic job. He was very responsive to our inquiries, provided help during the design phase, and was proactive when it came to scheduling the actual construction. The workers also did an exceptional job and we are very happy with the results. I highly recommend Nova grounds to anyone with landscape beautification in mind.

My husband and I know NOTHING about taking care of a yard (well he probably knows more than me ;) so we put off updating the front yard of our townhouse for 2 years. When my husband was shopping around for different landscapers in the area, Tony was the first to respond. He was so helpful with all of our questions and always quick to respond or return our calls/texts. He gave us different suggestions and told us how to take care of the plants he put into our yard. We are 100% happy with how our new front yard looks and definitely recommend Tony and his crew for any landscaping needs!

Side note: Tony's father owns a construction comoany and they ended up doing amazing bathroom model for us at the same time (after we had to fire a contractor).

Last summer we decided to finally do something about the eyesore of a garden in front of our house, and couldn’t have been happier with the work of Tony and the team at Northern Virginia Grounds. They were collaborative and thoughtful, had great ideas, and were efficient when completing the project. It’s rare to find a team like this who goes above and beyond, and who makes it a priority to ensure the customer is happy – not just with the final product but throughout the process. This spring, we had NVG back out to do our spring cleaning and landscaping, this time all the way around the house. Like last year, several neighbors have already commented how much they love our gardens.

I appreciated that Tony got back to me soon after I contacted him and then came out to my home to look at my specific needs. We recently moved into our home which had an unsightly dirt yard and wanted to have sod laid. The sod went further than expected and looks great. Fingers crossed we keep it alive! Tony's crew worked fast and were very friendly. For future customers (who don't have green thumbs) it might be nice to provide a short cheat-sheet on care for a new lawn. Overall, we were really happy with our experience and would contact NOVA Grounds again in the future.

Nova LC did an amazing job! Tony, the owner, was on the job every day managing his crew and working with us to develop landscaping and hardscaping around our new pool. The end results exceeded our expectations. Under Tony's instruction, he and his crew spent weeks constructing our Travertine pool deck and surroundings with precision and care. Whenever a problem arose, Tony found creative and beautiful solutions. For example, when modifications were needed to coping around the back of our pool installed by the pool company, he spent days calling and traveling to vendors to locate hard to find stone to coordinate. He also proved to be very responsive. I don't remember a call or text that was not answered within the hour. He also began and completed our job within the time frame promised. Nova LC may not be the least inexpensive, but the good service, quality of materials, and excellent craftmanship will without a doubt save money on repairs and do-overs in the long run.

Tony has provided snow removal services at my properties for over 5 years. He is always on top of the inclement weather and him and his guys always do a great job. He keeps me updated on weather and property conditions and is always available when called. There is not another snow removal contractor I will use at my properties. I insist with my ownership group that we use Tony and NOVA grounds each year. He is the best hands down.

NOVA Landscape is top notch. I needed a walkway for my backyard and was unsure of where to start. After calling around and getting outrages quotes, Tony came over and painted a picture of what I would be getting along with a more than fair price! Tony's expertise, responsiveness and dedication to his craft make him a no brainier for your next outdoor project. The walkway looks amazing and we will be going back for more projects soon. I will not only recommend NOVA Landscape to my friends and family, but insist they call Tony, as I know they will be in great hands.

I met Tony 16+ years ago when he was in partnership with another guy. A mutual friend of ours told me to contact Tony to at least get an estimate.
Since I had 2 estimates to compare Tony's price to I thought I had done the right thing. Tony was right on the money and once I started talking to him, we realized we knew many of the same people in different industries.
I was a lot closer to the other business owners then I was to Tony so I called them. Each one confirmed my initial feeling while I was observing and noting details about Tony's demeanor.
It was obvious that he was detailed oriented and made many minor observations I hadn't thought of, so this was huge especially since none of the other companies I spoke with even mentioned some of the items Tony brought to light.
The end product was absolutely awesome and so much so several of my neighbors have had Tony back for quotes for similar work.
Just a short note: I had some paving work done many years ago that was separating and falling apart. Tony took it upon himself to repair that work and made the old paving look like new.
Tony's company does professional work, and uses high end quality material. I can attest to this from the pavers used years ago to the pavers tony uses now.
I would highly recommend NOVA Landscaping Construction for any exterior jobs you may be contemplating on doing.

Our fence and back yard needed a total facelift , everything was old and needed to be replaced . Tony sat down with me and discussed design concept , materials that he recommended , and the time it would take to complete the job . They stayed on schedule and never missed a beat , even though we added several items during the course of the project they stuck to the same end date . The experience was educational , collaborative and fun . A team that takes pride in their work . I am so happy with my new fence and beautiful landscape . Thank you for a great job done !!

We spoke to many companies and had many estimates given to us. Integrity is something Tony displayed from day one! Many of the other contractors can learn a lot from Tony and his staff.

We did a full line of landscaping in the front of our home both sides and the rear of our home. They did some Hardscape work on the patio as well and did a fantastic job!!

Northern VA Grounds recently remodeled my patio with beautiful pavers and I am loving it!
A neighbor recommended I contact Tony, who promptly met with me and patiently listened to my vision for my new patio. He answered all of my questions and explained the process in detail, including what materials he uses and why. He also showed me photos of his other completed projects and encouraged me to read the reviews of his work on Yelp.
He was especially patient and flexible during a series of challenges that delayed scheduling the work for two months. His crew was professional, hard-working, and attentive. They even went out of their way to cut up some pieces of the recycled material for me to use in other projects. Thank you Tony and crew for great service and quality work!

Tony’s team recently installed a paver patio in our backyard. We were extremely happy with the entire process, starting with the design, working with us on our budget, and the finished project. The crew was professional and always cleaned up their workspace before wrapping up for the day. We would highly recommend NOVA Grounds for patio work.

We contracted Tony for work on a paver walkway from our driveway to our front porch and for the planting of a tree in our backyard. We couldn't be happier. We contacted Tony after a bad windstorm knocked down some trees and removed some privacy we had from neighbors. Tony came in and reviewed the yard and suggested several options that could fit our needs. He was very communicative via email and phone as we worked together to find the trees that would fit our need for privacy and style. Ultimately, we decided to go with as Willow and couldn't believe how low the price was for the tree and install. Similarly, Tony worked with us on the design of the walkway. He again suggested several styles and we ended up going with a herringbone pattern of red brick that fit our colonial style home perfectly. Tony's guys were quick with the install, but were thorough: they did it right. I had gotten 3 proposals from different companies but NOVA Grounds was the most affordable. I strongly recommend NOVA Grounds and will definitely use them in the future.

We recently completed a beautiful hardscape/landscape project with NOVA Landscape Construction near Leesburg, VA. Not only was the final result everything we asked for, but the owner (Tony) and his team made the entire process simple and clear. After discussing the design and committing to a schedule, Tony coordinated the drop off of all materials, making proactive corrections when needed prior to the start of the project. Each day, his teams put in a full day's work, and Tony himself was there either working alongside them or stopping by to make sure everything was going smoothly. The project was completed on time, in budget, and exceeding all specifications. Finally, they left the areas surrounding the project/work zones in great shape, seeding and fertilizing all impacted grassy areas and powerwashing our driveway. We love our new fire pit, lighting, and patios!

Tony came out very promptly to provide an estimate. Together we planned the project. While he listened carefully to my ideas and concerns, he shared from his knowledge and experience. Yet Tony made it clear that it these were only his recommendations; this project was ultimately about what I wanted.

Once we decided on a plan the work began quickly and promptly. One aspect I really appreciated was that the crew were careful to clean up every day. This was important to me as I live in a townhouse complex and management can be rather picky. Also, we stayed in contact during the project to ensure there were no miscommunications and any unexpected issues were dealt with quickly and effectively.

In the end, I have a perfect patio. The work is as beautiful in person as it is in the pictures and I’m looking forward to years of enjoyment.

One final word, Tony provided me a small amount of gravel from his personal property as the amount I needed was too small to warrant a full order.
