Having served with him on Active Duty, I knew that the level of work performance that he would provide would be second-to-none. He is passionate, professional, punctual, and he cares about the details and that you receive top-notch performance. His prices are extremely fair, he offers different time intervals that will keep your lawn looking amazing, and he has a very experienced and diverse background with professional lawn care. They did a beautiful job on my lawn. Overhauled all my flower beds, trimmed all my trees, bushes, and shrubs. Very reasonably priced. Eric came highly recommended and visited our new property the same day we called. He completed the job the next day (even though our field ended up being more involved than any of us could have imagined) in a professional, courteous and timely manner. I saw Jason applying mulch at a lawn down the street. I met him and asked about his services. He explained what he offers and I asked him to stop by my house in order to give me an estimate for mulch. He did so, and I found his offer to be very appealing. A couple of days later, today, he came by and applied the mulch in the color we asked for and at a very reasonable price; then gave some advice on how to maintain it. We find his work to have been done with precision and the lawn looks excellent. I highly recommend.

Jason does an excellent job on the yard every time! He always arrives as scheduled, makes communication and payment very easy, and is a pleasure to work with. To top it off, he is very reasonably priced. I highly recommended Alpine Lawn Care to anyone in the Chesapeake, Va area.

Alpine was recommended to me when a deployed friends lawn company canceled for over a month, his lawn was over grown and I had two other companies say they couldn't do it simply because of how over grown it was. Called Alpine and spoke to Jason who was confident he could handle it, he went the very next morning to check the yard and gave a more than fair price. Even made time in his schedule to handle it that afternoon! I got before and after photos which was a nice touch, I was able to send them to my friend and he was beyond grateful knowing his lawn wasnt "that yard" in the neighborhood anymore. I would/will be recommending Alpine to anyone who is looking for lawn care.

Eric was fantastic. He replied extremely fast and was very receptive to all my questions. My lawn looked fantastic. He made sure to treat my property as if it were his own with how well he handled edging the property and cleaning everything up fantastically. He even offered to trim up one of the bushes that for the last year I have had zero success getting it under control. He was able to successfully get the wild bush under control. I would highly recommend Eric to anyone who is looking for someone that takes great care and pride in their work and has fantastic attention to detail.

Jason and his team did an amazing job on some overgrown flowerbeds in our front yard. He was very reasonably priced and was always very responsive whenever I contacted him with questions. We will definitely be going back to him for all of our landscaping needs — highly recommend!

The reason I have a lawn service because I am a 68 year old disabled man and my wife is also disabled. We just cannot do it anymore. These folks cut my next door neighbors lawn and it seemed like a win win for all involved when we hired them. Let me start with the positives. They charge fairly. They typically have been courteous and showed up as contracted.
The only exception is when they were unable due to rainy days. That brings me to the collapse of the service. They were behind in servicing customer and the quality slipped a bit. The edging and blowing off the areas was so so at best. Last Thursday was the tipping point. My neighbor had been out of town for two weeks and just returned. He was mowing his lawn and noticed mine was overgrown. He came over and mowed my front yard. (This is the second time he had stepped up because Alpine didn't cut our yard)
I went out to run an errand and noticed that the remainder of my yard was not cut, no edging was done and none of the clippings were blown off. I called Alpine and the owner answered. Admittedly I was upset and I asked for an explanation as to why they did cut my lawn. The owner Jason said they were confused to see someone mowing my yard. They were behind and that he planned to email in the evening. I explained that that was unacceptable. I asked why he woutake a moment and call or text or imagine this, knock on my door to inquire as to how to proceed. He was very apologetic but could not answer on why he had made no attempt to contact me. I was highly upset at this point and I let him know what my expectations were concerning him contacting me. I told him I expected my lawn to be done Friday and outlined what I expected.
I was home till 3:00 pm and they were a no show again.no email, text or phone call. I arrived home about 8:00 and no work was completed. I called Jason again and asked for an explanation. He said he had sent an email the night before terminating our relationship. I searched my emails again, no email.
Apparently Jason was upset that I had the audacity to call him out on his unprofessional business practices. Apparently I may have used some language that offered him. He said I embarrassed him in front of his employees during the phone call. I spent 40 plus years in customer service and know the value of communication with your customers. I finally got an email AFTER our conversation. I could not in good conscious give them a recommendation. I have already secured another service to replace this guy.

Jason and his team do an excellent job. Our lawn looks so much better than before! Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for reliable lawn care service and a team that really cares about the finished product.

I had an overall okay experience but there were a few issues that kept it from being a great one. There was some miscommunication about the timing of service and what areas were included, as I had specified a certain week and expected the backyard to be done as well. The work that was completed looked decent, however it did not feel very thorough and some areas seemed rushed, especially for a spring cleanup. They were polite and responsive so I do not think it was intentional, but clearer communication and more attention to detail would make a big difference and easily turn this into a five star service.
