I have been using Atlantic Tree Service for many years. They are responsive, reliable and affordable.

Atlantic did a nice job. They were the best quote out of four other services. And the end result is the same, my trees were gone.

Guys finally made it out between rain and sunshine, got the job done and looks so much better, cleaned up the mess before they left.

I could not be more pleased with the their services. They were extremely careful as they maneuvered their crane into place, completed the job very efficiently and ensured all of the debris was removed as promised. In addition, they were at least $300 below any of the other estimates I received.

Very professional throughout the entire process. They did work in my backyard and very mindful of not tear up the grass. Also cleaned up afterwards so you could hardly tell they were there.

I would highly recommend and use them in the future. 👍🏼

Outstanding tree service. Ray and his crew are true professionals. They had to use a crane on my tree and they were so good at taking care of my property and they cleaned up so you wouldn’t even know they were there. Excellent customer service. Highly recommend them.

I've used Atlantic tree service for many many years wouldn't have anybody else in my backyard. Very professional very neat and they do what they're supposed to do.

John gave me a time he would come to give me my estimate and he showed up early within minutes of the promised appointment. He was extremely professional and provided detailed explanations of what and how they would do the job. He promised to have his crew on site at 7:30 on the day of the work and they were there one minute early. The next day one man was there 5 minutes early and started preparations for the days work and the others arrived as scheduled. They took down 6 trees of heights from30 to 75 feet tall and when they left the only way you could tell they had been there was the trees were gone. I highly recommend them!!

Ray Stancil and his team are easy to work with, show themselves to be professional, take care to keep from tearing up the yard and structures. They go the extra mile to remove any tree work that you may need done. You won’t be sorry if you choose to use A Atlantic Tree Service. “The Price is Right!”

A disclaimer: the service was performed while John Sweeney was on vacation and his crew did the work.

This service was recommended by firefighters so I trusted them- I regret that. I interacted with John Sweeney over the phone and never met him.
When I went to check the work- The trees were trimmed in a horrible manner, no symmetry and quite ugly also I had asked for the branches to be trimmed- they were not they were the same length.

When I spoke with John Sweeney after the service was performed and he was paid, he was brash and defensive, I got the impression he didn't have respect for a female with accent.
We were going to meet at a certain time to do quality control and he had left to another job before I got to the house. I decided to cut my loses and not deal with him or his crew again.

I was not given a receipt either- I was told they do not issue receipts and to use the estimate as a receipt- i found that quite surprising since they used my credit card as a payment.

I would not recommend this company.

Posting for my dad Steve, who has relied on Atlantic Tree Service for over 30 years at their home in Forest Lakes for multiple projects, and won’t use anyone else, “if you want a fair price and excellent service, with no gimmicks call them up”.

We had 9 large trees removed by Atlantic Tree Service and a 10th pruned. The crew that arrived was professional, efficient and did terrific work. The price was reasonable and they were on the job soon after I called.

The only thing keeping them from a 5-star review was the stump grinder. Atlantic doesn't have their own stump grinder, which isn't a big deal, but they farmed our stump removal out to another company.

The stump grinder came out and informed me that he brought the wrong machine and would need to return. No problem. After several phone calls and promises to show and complete the job, the stump grinder never returned. We waited almost two months with nine large stumps in our yard. To be clear, I don't blame John and the guys at Atlantic for their stump grinder not showing up but it was still part of the job.

In the end, we went out on our own and found Jamie at Virginia Stump Grinders to come in and finish the job. He was excellent.

In short, I would absolutely recommend this company to prune or remove your trees. They did great work and treated my property like it was their own.

We had a tree that required special equipment to remove and Atlantic had the right tools for the job. They showed up promptly and did an awesome job. All parts of the tree were removed. It was like it had never been there. Highly recommend them.

John and his team are awesome they showed up on time when they said they would be here, his employees are super friendly and didn’t mind us watching from a safe distance. When the tree was gone I was thinking oh I have a lot to clean up but nope John’s team cleaned every leaf branch and you couldn’t even tell a storm blew my tree down. The tree fell on my deck and in my pool and these guys got the tree out of my pool without causing any further damage to it. Awesome experience with them and will use them in the future!

They did a fantastic and very thorough job with our backyard. Everything was completed in a few hours and my backyard looks great!! They cleaned up everything and we are extremely pleased with their service. Highly recommend!

A Atlantic tree service came out to my property to remove 4 trees, 2 of which that were on the property line and very close to the neighbors house. John Sweeney assesed the situation and took incredible lengths to make sure there were no mistakes, accidents or damage of property. I'm amazed at his knowledge of tree removal. I've used A Atlantic in the past but this time John went above and beyond. He and his guys cleaned up my property at the end of the day and you couldn't tell they were even there. 5 star reviews for A Atlantic, John Sweeney and his crew!!

I've had 10 trees removed over the past several years and never have I been as satisfied as I was with Atlantic. Mr Sweeney and his crew were extremely professional, courteous and did quality work. They promised that there would be no yard damage form the felling of the tress, I was skeptical, however, with the exception of the trees no longer being there, you couldn't tell they had been. Everything was cleaned up just as promised. Even my neighbors commented on the great job they did. I will definitel use them again with no hesitation.

I'm a repeat customer! When I moved my internet to StarLink satellite, I found out how important it is to have a clear view of the sky. John and his team came to my rescue. First, they removed two large--LARGE--oak trees from right beside my house. Thanks to the amazing work by the team--led by Big Matt! the worlds friendliest lumberjack--the trees came down safely and were transported away. You can't even tell they were ever there, and thanks to the conscientious work of the team, no signs at all of the crane having been in my yard. These guys are pros!

A month or so later, my satellite system started griping about a different tree causing some obstruction to the satellites. So, I called John. He was there the very next day to talk with me! I showed him the tree that was causing the complaints and asked when they could remove it. He recommended taking out a few of the larger branches instead, saving me money! (Who does that these days!?)

Now, I have a clear view of the sky, my tree is healthy with a bit fewer limbs and my side yard has my wife's favorite full-sun flower/vegetable bed.

A Atlantic Tree Service is the only tree-game in town for my family. Friendly, honest, flexible and reasonably priced. A+

This is my second time using this company. A Atlantic Tree Services always do a great job. They are fast to come out and quick to do the job correctly. I will continue to keep using this company for future services.
