We are extremely pleased with the great service provided by Affordable Tree Service! The guys delivered exactly what we ask of them. The giant oaks were hanging over our home, which wasn't an easy job. They performed it with ease or perhaps they just made it look easy! They cleaned up well. Happy with the value of the service they delivered! We will definitely hire them for future tree trimming! Best of all they are nice, which is important as well. Thanks so much guys!!!

Lee, Marlin, and their crew did an amazing job wrapping our large oak tree with lights! After a couple weeks one strand went out and they were there within 24 hours to repair it. I couldn't be more excited with the way it turned out! We highly recommend Affordable Tree Service and Firewood.

These tow brothers have a hell of a team. They removed 5 large pine trees and trimmed up several other trees for me. They had THE BEST PRICE IN THE AREA. I had several estimates and they beat them all. They only took 2 days for the entire job. Hauled away all the wood, cleaned up all three connecting yards, and made sure they ground was also taken care of for no damage to anyone's lawns. I would give them 10 stars if possible. I would definitely recommend to anyone in Hampton roads and would recommend them for any tree removal job you have.

I had a large bradford pear removed from my yard and my river birch trimmed. The men came in and made quick work of it and left my yard tidy. The most reasonably priced in the area, as well. Would definitely recommend these guys for your tree service needs!

Very fast and efficient company to use. We had a large tree partially fall on our 2nd story roof after the last big storm. They squeezed me in inspite of their already busy schedule. They were very careful about how to remove the limb without causing more damage to my property. Tyler and Marlin worked fast and they were very professional and knowledgeable.

A team of 4-5 men quickly and efficiently trimmed back 5 large Crepe Myrtle trees for us. They did a beautiful job and removed all fallen branches and debris. We highly recommend this company!!

These guys did an excellent job. The owners, Lee and Marlin, were great to deal with. Tyler and the crew removed a large gum tree overhanging the house from a difficult spot, and made it look easy. After removing the branches, they expertly dropped the trunk into 10 ft wide gap between the shed and the house. The crew was friendly, showed up on time, worked hard, and cleaned up the area afterward. And the price was truly affordable, I couldn't be happier. Now I have a "tree guy" in case anyone asks for a referral.

If you have overgrown Bradford Pears that break large branches whenever the wind rolls through call Affordable! They made quick work of removing 2 of my large trees. They were so great I am having them back next month to remove more trees before they start to break off branches as well!

We called many tree companies to cut down our giant oak that was starting to show signs of rot. Affordable Tree came out same day to give us a quote and we are glad we called their quote was the most affordable coming in 500 dollars cheaper than their competitors. Not to mention they bumped us up in their timeline and moved other jobs around to accommodate us and our project timeline. Other companies were booked out 2 weeks. Affordable was able to make it work and came out a few days after quoting. They got the tree down in about a day and came back the next morning to finish the clean up and make everything look tidy. They even saved us a few pieces upon request so we could use them for future projects. Between the excellent communication and the quick response time I would recommend Affordable Tree to anyone. Affordable Tree Service did a wonderful job. Marlen, Lee and team were great. We had 3 large oaks removed, one towering over our house, along with a few others that needed cleaned up. They all were professional, timely and execution was precise. Would highly recommend and will call them personally, again, for any future tree removal needs. I had an 65 foot maple removed & stump grinded as well as 3 trees trimmed. I received excellent, excellent service! Stellar communication from start to finish, quick turnaround time, respectful interactions, and a good job done. They gave me the opportunity give feedback on if I wanted more limbs pruned and happily went the extra step to take more off.

Our daughter had a fallen tree from wind storm and got Lee’s info from a neighbor. Him and his crew were able to make it out same day to handle it. So professional and prompt with service we had them come to our house to remove a nuisance Holly tree we just needed gone. Very fair pricing on both jobs. 10/10 will be using again in coming months for yet another tree at daughter’s house. Thanks so much for the great work.

Lee with Affordable Tree Service & Firewood got back to us with his quote, within a couple of days reaching out to him, to remove a tree, grind the stump, & trim up a crepe myrtle in our front yard. He was there within a quick timeframe. He showed up with his staff, got the work done, cleaned up and was done. The tree is gone. The crepe myrtle is trimmed & we’re ready to redo the landscaping. Lee kept in touch & sent final pics. Wonderful company to work with!!!

We had a great experience with Affordable Trees. Unfortunately our 100+ ft pine was struck by lighting and dying. Lee and his crew were great communicators from consult through booking. They were quick and efficient with the tree removal and did a great job. We also found them to be the best priced. We would absolutely recommend them to others.
