Absolute wonderful service with a very friendly and professional service advisor. I would recommend Steve for all HVAC work.

Madjit was very knowledgeable. He arrived on time, and completed the repair quickly while explaining to us what had happened and why.

The Technician doesn’t know what he is doing. He came twice and didn’t resolve it and tell the incorrect diagnoses. I am really disappointed with the technician better look for someone.

Technician ordered parts for changing refrigerator lights, which was delivered at our home. Not sure if he replaced all the lights with new ones. Took the box with him without showing if all lights were replaced with new ones or only few lights. When asked he said he needs the box. Few lights are white and two at the top are yellow, indicating may be all were not changed.

The service was the worst we had. He demanded money as soon as he entered home. And he rejected to do service in the home and gave a wrong information to my insurance service agency which cannot be covered when this was a simple thermostat change. He didn’t start checking the instrument until we pay the amount of 75$. This guy was a total worst guy I have ever had.

Did not fix problem. Drying takes three times longer than it did a few months ago. Almost two hours for a small load. No solutions offered. Work under Sears service, warrantee.

Seeras was great to work with. He was very knowledgeable and diagnosed the problems with our refrigerator very quickly. He explained what was wrong and what we need to do to keep it from happening again. Very friendly and professional.

The technician arrived as scheduled and was very informative and helpful. My appliance is back up and running like it is supposed to work. I am very pleased with the experience.

This is now the fifth time we have had a Sears technician come to “service” our refrigerator under warranty. This has been an ongoing nightmare. For the third time, a compressor was ordered, but this is the first time one would have actually been installed. In prior visits, technicians simply “recharged” the unit, signed off that a compressor was not needed, or admitted they weren’t trained on our particular appliance, forcing us to wait even longer for a new appointment. It feels like a deliberate attempt to drag things out until the warranty runs down.

Your customer service system is just as bad—AI-generated, robotic, and completely unhelpful. Every attempt at escalation leads nowhere. The whole operation feels like a scam. Buyer beware. DO NOT buy a Sears warranty.

I also want to highlight how disingenuous your public review responses are. Every single one is a copy-and-paste apology that says you’re “sorry for the experience” and instructs customers to call your customer service line—only for them to chase YOU down and still get nowhere. That’s not resolution, that’s deflection. If you were serious about service, you would be contacting us directly, not pushing the burden back on the already-frustrated customer. These responses are insulting and accomplish nothing.

On top of the incompetence, one of your technicians was extremely rude and disrespectful during his visit. As a woman home alone at the time, the interaction was unsettling and unacceptable. Safety matters, and your company should take that seriously.

I demand a proper follow-up response to this complaint, not another empty apology. Be assured that I will also be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

Sears Home Services is a horrible excuse for a warranty provider. Beware!

Incompetent. They have been to my house twice in 2 weeks to fix my Kenmore Elite washing machine that is leaking and shearing off the bolt that holds the bottom of the washer drum in place. Both times the repair person claims to have tested the fix. When I do a load of laundry, the washer still leaks and the bottom of the drum is detached. Starting my third week now with 5 family members and no washing machine. This service is being procured through CINCH HOME SERVICES. Cinch is a complete fraud. They charge $100 for each and every appointment even when it is multiple trips to fix the original problem. STAY AWAY-this is NOT what Sears service used to be. It’s all a cash grab targeting those of us who would prefer to keep appliances out of the landfills.

Tech was great. I do have an issue as I sent detailed pictures with the model #, serial # and the make of the garbage disposal before technician arrived. The technician stated I needed a replacement, however one would need to be ordered.

Sears, why do you have AI bots asking for information before service call and then a technician shows to tell me I need a replacement? This is inefficient.

Now I need to wait again for my replacement to be shipped to my home and another service call to install - - maybe.

I have a feeling that my replacement garbage disposal will arrive and then I am stuck finding someone to install it.

Mr. Sears was excellent and very helpful. Did all he could to help us. Would definitely recommend him to do appliance repair. He was very knowledgeable and gave us great information.

I want to take a moment to thank the exceptional support extended by Hai T. Our heating system was under performing and the external HVAC completely froze leading to colder rooms. He checked everything and fixed the issue. Hai also took time explaining some basic things for us yo take care to minimize such events. Thank you, Hai T.

While the Repair went well, which took place on a second appointment, after parts being ordered. The window of arrival time is ridiculous. Your only options are 7am-6pm or 8am-5pm. My husband and I own a small contracting company performing exterior remodeling services, and we would never give people an 8+ hour window. I hope they can figure out a way to better manage this

I had a time slot from 7 AM to 11 AM. The technician called me at 11:01 to tell me that he would 45 minutes late. ( if he knew he would be late I feel like he should’ve contacted me during the time slot not after) he then asked me if this was a warranty claim (which obviously it was because I filed the claim with assurant and they hired Sears Home Services) once I told him that it was a claim he told me that he had no claim number and that if he would want to come out It would be a service charge of $150. I obviously wasn’t happy with that but I’ve already taken a half day off of work so I might as well take the full day off and have this completed. I told him to come out. He said that I would be wasting his time 😂😂. I just took off work for a half a day but somehow I’m wasting this technicians time. This is his line of work. I cannot find a phone number or email address to share my unhappiness with this company. Here’s a picture of the clown

Absolutely terrible experience. They did not show up THREE separate times and did not even give us notice. They give a timeframe of 8am-5pm so we have to take the whole day off for work just for them to cancel at the last minute.
When they finally came they ordered the wrong parts and took weeks for another one to arrive. Now the job suddenly requires two people. That wasn't the case the first time and if they had actually paid attention they would've known that from the start & scheduled accordingly. It's impossible to talk to a real person and get a clear answer.

The lack of communication, accountability, and basic professionalism is horrendous. We've been more than patient, but at this point, I would never recommend this company to anyone

Mohammad was extremely professional and fixed my DW issue. He was tidy, courteous while in my home and cleaned up after the job. So glad to get same day service and have my 2-year old machine running well again. Thank you Mohammad

Technician was personable. He explained what he thought was the cause of the leak. He removed the panel under the door and the installation behind it, to check for leaks, and reassembled it. The door now makes noise when it's fully opened and closed. This was not happening before. The dishwasher still leaked after repair. (See attached pictures.) Therefore the repair was not successful.

We were completely satisfied with the services provided by Sears especially by the lead technician Mohammed. The first service call was last week and it was determined that parts were needed for our Microwave. This morning Mohammed and his 2 colleges repaired our built-in unit and did a GREAT job.

I had an inspection evaluation of my washing machine, which the technician confirmed. I had a bed pump motor… With the repair cost coming in at more than 50% of a new washer (No judgment on pricing of the repair, Everything’s more expensive these days) We’ve decided to get a new washer instead

My washing machine stopped working and it has been 3 weeks since they schedule and cancel the appointment to fix it. I decided to buy a new one and cancel my sears home warranty.
    Update:
The technician came on 9/12/2025 and he broke so many parts of the washer and now I am left with so many pieces of the washer. It is so inconvenient to throw it or dispose it.
