Provided all required appliance specs and booked a window of 1pm-5pm three days in advance. On the day of scheduled service, I was sent a link to track the technician that led to an "Error: page not found" site on "Rebrandly." Original email confirmation link did work, with technician estimated to arrive at 4:53pm in 1p-5p window! As time went by, the est arrival time moved to 6:30, 7:15, and eventually 9:08p. It felt like they were just playing chicken, hoping we would cancel, which we finally did. Hire more technicians or stop committing to service visits you can't fulfill.

Complete rip off. I uploaded pictures and entered in all required model numbers and info when scheduling as requested. Paid the diagnostic fee when repairman got here and then was told... what I needed was not available. No way to speak to actual human. I will NOT be buying from Sears again. Ridiculous.(Not at all the repairman's fault but Sears / A&E you are awful)

Pricing details were not made clear. Parts were ordered by Sears on Amazon for a low cost and charged to me more than 5 times the cost of part. I was asked to sign-off on things without proper details on what I was signing for. I would not recommend this service.

Our furnace broke down during a winter snowstorm here in Virginia. Steven was sent to check our furnace by the Sears Appliance Service. Steven got to work immediately. He's very detailed and strict, knowledgeable in his work as a technician, skillful in diagnosing the problem. He found out that the inducer motor was no longer functioning and that the pressure switch needed to be replaced. He ordered the parts and returned to install the new parts. Now, thanks be to Steven, we're back to having a warm and comfortable home!

Rating of zero stars as the technician left. Spoke through technician on the video asking him to wait as I called my wife to put the dogs away so he could come Inside. Instead, technician did not wait was at the door for less than two minutes, and I have video, then left, proceed to close the case and ask for a review. This is after Sears appliance repair texted that there was a virtual appointment. I highly do not recommend this technician nor do I recommend Sears appliance repair.

The technician didnt have the right equipments (check for CO) or knowledge to diagnose the issue. He started arguing with me to prove that there is something wrong with the system. I provided pictures and details of another company’s diagnostic report to help him out and Sear’s technician is like they are lying to sell me their product. He pretty much told me dont tell him what to do!! Very unprofessional and rude.
The company gave me an appointment between 7 am and 6 pm.. it is a joke to give a time frame like that. Then they keep updating their arrival time through out the day. Finally the guy came around 4 pm. He wanted me to pay first and the excuse is that other customers are refusing to pay (can you believe). -
Our heat pump was not producing heat, and the service experience was highly unsatisfactory. The technician demonstrated unprofessional behavior and arrived with a negative attitude. He stated that he was unwilling to perform the repair due to the cold weather and informed us that he would return once temperatures increased. As a result, the service was rescheduled for two weeks later.
During this time, my family and I were left without adequate heating in cold weather conditions. We were forced to purchase two space heaters to maintain a safe and livable indoor environment. When my wife asked the technician why it took so long for him to return and complete the repair, he responded by yelling at her. He claimed that the system could not be properly diagnosed until the weather warmed up to determine whether the issue was related to low refrigerant levels. When I asked for clarification, he responded by telling me “to go to school”. Insulting my intelligence.
Overall, the technician’s conduct was inappropriate, unprofessional, and unacceptable, and it caused unnecessary hardship for my family. -
The warranty company dispatched this guy that had no idea of what he was doing. He just told me the furnace was old and needed to be replaced. I just wanted it fixed and working. He told me that the flue pipe was clogged and parts were required. Had a real HVAC guy come today and he checked everything and the shut down was caused by the air filter. I was using a mist humidifier and it clogged the filter. Simple fix and this guy had no idea. He didn't check the voltage readings or do anything meaningful like the real tech. Very shocked about Sears Home Service. Be careful about up sales and lack of true service.

For the third time, Sears Home Services came to repair our cooktop. Another waste of time. The representative said that they could not repair it and it had to be done by GE. Instead of making three house calls and charging an enormous amount, I would think that they would know that right away.

I am writing to highly recommend Ahmad for his exceptional technical expertise, customer service, and professionalism. Ahmad truly embodies the hallmark of a skilled technician. His ability to diagnose, explain, and resolve appliance issues was impressive, and he provided clear recommendations that ensured my appliances were serviced effectively and with lasting results.
Throughout the service, Ahmad demonstrated patience and professionalism. While I encountered a discrepancy in pricing—expecting a $50 charge for the sixth appliance as initially communicated by the scheduling representative, but instead being charged $99—Ahmad took the time to explain the situation thoroughly. His calm demeanor and clear guidance helped put me at ease, even though the cost was higher than anticipated.
What stood out most was Ahmad’s commitment to customer satisfaction. He not only delivered excellent technical service but also ensured that I understood the process and felt supported. His professionalism and dedication reflect the qualities of a technician who values both precision and people.
I confidently recommend Ahmad for any role that requires technical skill, customer care, and integrity. He will be an asset to any team or organization fortunate enough to have him.
