Needed a tree removed and their crew did an amazing job with excellent cleanup. Fast and friendly throughout- highly recommend this company!

Tom and his crew of four arrived at our house at 8 o’clock this morning and were hard at it until 530 this evening. We had an 80 foot oak tree come down in our pasture across the fence and block the road to the barn, as well as a 100 foot leaning Elm tree that was threatening our slate stone wall and fountain.
Using a bobcat, a chipper, two full-size dump trucks, professional rigging gear, and multiple Stihl chainsaws, Tom‘s crew was able to cut, move and haul away all of both trees in one of the most efficient operations I have seen over the years. In addition, they repaired the broken fencing so it looks as good as new.
Polite, focused, and professional, we can’t say enough about the efficient job they did to include the thorough cleanup operation when all was said and done. You can hardly tell they were here.

I regret not having some before and after pictures of the tree service provided by Stokes tree service.
They did a super job all the way around and were super courteous throughout the whole process.

They arrived on time and cleaned up so well, you could not tell by looking on the lawn and ground that they were ever here. They took all of the necessary precautions to protect and respect not only my property, but my neighbors property too.

Another huge positive note, when I asked for estimates (I got 5). I asked for the bottom line price of the job and strictly no bargaining. Not only did Stokes come in as the least expensive, but they also “educated” me on my options.

We had a number of trees trimmed and a dead one taken down. The crew was incredibly polite, knowledgeable and cleaned up nicely. Their price point was amazing for the service we were provided.

We are very pleased with the work performed by Stokes Tree Solutions on two jobs in the past year. The first job was to remove two trees and lay new sod in the front yard. Tom provided excellent follow-up and guidance on the watering and care of the sod, and we have received frequent compliments on our "new" front yard. This past week they remove a large pine from the back yard and performed some additional trimming on a large oak. His crews show up on time, work quickly and carefully, and clean up nicely when they are finished, all at a reasonable price.

We had a great experience with Gordon W. Frazier Tree Service. Gordon and his crew quickly removed a VERY LARGE Sycamore tree from our front lawn. This company is EXCELLENT. The entire experience from start to finish was great and thorough. If you need any type of tree service, like I did, do not hesitate, call them! They were quick and thorough with clean-up after removal of the tree. I will definitely use their services again and highly recommend them to others!

Whole Tree Removal.

I came home Saturday afternoon to our giant Ailanthus tree leaning, during the heavy winds, threatening to fall on our neighbor's house, cars, or anyone walking under. The very next day, starting Sunday Morning, Frazier's was at work. By 1:30pm the tree was removed. Also it was a VERY fair price. I will DEFINITELY be calling them FIRST for any future tree work.

I am so grateful for their speed, professionalism, and their price. Plus, they are very experienced, knowledgeable and friendly guys.

We got their information from a neighbor. This tree company was super responsive and very reasonably priced. The day they showed up they immediately went to work on what we asked them to do. And they were completed within a few hours and done an amazing job cleaning up all of the tree material. We have turf in the backyard, so it was very important to have good cleanup. Also, all the tree cutting looks very nicely done and our tree line looks amazing. I have already recommended them to all of our neighbors and friends and family! We plan on using their service annually for our tree trimming.

Cody stayed in touch with me for several months to coordinate a good time to remove a very big tree from a very tight spot in our yard to make sure there would be minimal damage to the yard during removal. The crew did an excellent job, and our yard had no damage. Reasonably priced as well. I highly recommend them especially for trees in tricky locations.

Gordon and his crew were amazing to work with. They were on time and very knowledgeable about safety. Extremely reasonable. They even cleaned up all the leaves that were drug onto our driveway from moving tree branches. We will absolutely be using their services again and would recommend them for any tree removal/trimming projects. Once again great job, very satisfied customers.

Cody and the crew did a great job! They were timely, hardworking, and respectful of the property. They removed (8) tall trees (80+ft) surrounded by buildings, propane tank, wells, fences etc. with no mishaps or even close calls. Expert Woodsmen! All of this was taken down, cut up, chipped and/or removed in less than 5 hrs in a residential subdivision. Fantastic work and most reasonably priced quotation I received out of 5 local companies. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Gordon W. Frazier Tree Service to anyone, family and friends included. In fact, they are returning in a couple of weeks to grind the tree stumps and roots. That was also quoted most reasonably in price. The quality of their work is suburb, the workers are extremely skilled, friendly and professional and you wont beat their price. Gordon Frazier Tree Service is phenomenal! I couldn't be happier with their service and quality. Fast/responsive communication, knowledgeable on what trees in my backyard should be trimmed vs cut down, and offered the best pricing. They trimmed 2 trees and cut 3 in my backyard in 2 hours. Very efficient, courteous, and honest people. I will do business with them again and recommend them to anyone needing tree service in NoVA.

Gordon Frazier’s crew is the first one we call for handling the many trees growing on and around our home. They have removed trees from our property at least three times and from our neighbor’s property at least twice. On their most recent visit, they removed three very tall poplar trees growing from the same root system on a steep slope. This was a two-day job; they laid down mats to protect the lawn and cleaned up the area thoroughly afterward. They also dead wooded two other trees and removed limbs growing near utility wires. The crew is really well-informed about trees of all kinds, is always responsive to our requests and answers our questions fully. Their prices have always been very reasonable as well. As a plus they seem to really enjoy the challenge of their job. We would certainly hire them again.

JL Tree Service did an outstanding job in Vienna VA. The estimator Peter was knowledgeable and made a number of helpful suggestions. The JL crew took down a very large white oak and pruned a large maple to protect my home from possible damage in storm. They cleaned up the yard and the street where huge sections of the trunk were put for pickup the next day. I am very pleased with their work!

By far the best tree service I've ever used. They knew exactly what they were doing with the many trees, they craned the tree around the house with ease. The guys knowledgeable, professional, experienced and it was awesome watching and learning. Hats off to JL Tree Service. They exceeded my expectation and would use them again. From the initial (estimate) site survey to the final clean-up, the crews who worked on our back and front yards were polite, professional, & patient. It was an extremely hot day and they powered through the heat and humidity. In short, I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone! Our front and backyards look so amazing now! In the backyard, removed small, dead trees, which improved the view from our home. Our front yard was a challenge as they had to remove three, large Oak trees. Kudos to Maria for operating the stump grinder and returning the following day with her teammate on one of the hottest days of the year! I returned to JL Tree Service because I had used them a couple of years ago and previously received great service. Unfortunately, my recent experience was completely different.

I initially submitted a quote request through their website and received a confirmation email stating that an arborist would contact me within 1–3 business days to schedule an estimate. After hearing nothing for 7 business days, I called the office myself. I was apologized to and told someone would contact me shortly.

The following day, I finally received a call. The person I spoke to seemed rushed, but we ended up scheduling an appointment for a Friday between 11:30 AM and 12:00 PM. I took time off work for the appointment, but no one showed up, and I never received a call or notification that they would be late or unable to make it.

I contacted the office again and was told they would look into the issue and follow up with me. It has now been several business days, and I still have not heard back from anyone.

Based on this experience, the company’s level of customer service appears to have declined significantly from what it once was. Unfortunately, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

I’m writing this 10 days after the stumps were ground out and the wood chip piles have still not been removed. If you’re looking for quick service, I’d suggest elsewhere. However, the tree removal crew and crane operator were highly skilled and did a very careful and complete job removing my trees. Ronnie who coordinates the tree removal and Sarah in the front office are both very communicative and responsive. It was a great customer experience until now, and there still has been no date scheduled for removing the wood chips.
