Reviews of local pros in Franklin, Virginia

They are excellent in their work. They did a very quick professional job and left the yard clean. They took down two very tall large pines plus other small trees and the stumps. Prices are very reasonable.

Everyone on the crew was very professional and they did great work! I needed a pecan tree cut down, 4 bushes, 4 crepe myrtles, 5 stumps, and two fig trees removed, and my 100y/o sycamore tree trimmed and dead branches removed. They came at 8a when they said they would and worked in the rain in the morning (luckily the rain stopped later), and they were done in about 4.5hrs. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Very reasonable price and they cleaned everything up like it never happened. Thank y'all again!!

John and his team came by and took care of a grinding a stump after completing a job with a neighbor. They were very professional and efficient. They took care not to damage any surrounding plants and even cleaned up any debris after they were done. Amesome job and highly recommended. A huge thank you!

Called Old Oak about two trees that were about to fall on a power line. They came right away to give an estimate and said it would be about a week and a half before they could come. Unfortunately with the wind and rain one of the trees started leaning a lot more. When I contacted them about my concern they rearranged and came in a day. They were excellent to deal with and delivered on their promise and more.

They were great, I was very happy with their work and professionalism. They were punctual, very professional, and efficient. They took care not to damage any surrounding plants, cleaned up and made sure we were happy with their work. Would definitely use them again. They did an amazing job!!

I can't say enough good things about this tree service. They came quickly and were on time to take down a huge oak behind our barn that had started to rot and split. I have never experienced such professional and exceptional service before from anyone. They did an amazing clean up job and it's like there was never a tree there. I highly recommend them for all your tree work needs. We will be using them again in the near future to have more work done around our farm. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Thank you guys so much!

What a professional team. I had them remove 2 large birch trees growing next to my house. They took precautions to not damage my yard and house. They also grinded out both stumps.

The price was very reasonable and these guys went above and beyond.

If you need tree service, give them a call...you will not be disappointed.

We love the job they do for us and our neighbors! They always clean up after themselves. This time they even ground up a couple of tree stumps from trees we cut down! Very respectful as well. Will call them when we need them again and recommend them to all of our friends.

They came within 3 days of the estimate to cut down an overdue dead tree. They have good pricing and They were in and out in 2 hours and were very polite and knowledgeable. Nice guys and loved the turnaround. Give John a call you won’t regret it!

John and his team were great I could not have asked for a better company… A HUGE THANK YOU to you and your team…

We recently had Old Oak Land & Tree come out to trim the large pine trees on our property, and we couldn’t be more impressed. John, the owner, and his crew were professional, careful, and incredibly hard-working. They made sure not to damage anything and worked with such precision and teamwork. Their attention to detail was outstanding—not just in the trimming, but especially in the cleanup. By the time they were done, you’d never know they had been here. Everything was spotless. We’re so grateful for the excellent service and highly recommend Old Oak Land & Tree to anyone needing expert tree care.

I had a backyard filled with trees. John & his crew came out and made my backyard a place I can now enjoy. They were a pleasure to do business with. He did exactly what he said he would do & that’s something I can appreciate. They took the time to cover my grass with boards so that they wouldn’t damage my yard with their machines. They had a whole system to get the job done quickly and efficiently. They did so well that I want to cut the rest of the trees in my yard.

Great service! Friendly, courteous, and very professional at a great price. Had 2 very tall trees cut down and stumps removed. They didn't mess around. They were done in 5 hours. Even got the roots down beside the house and the pine straw on the roof. Would recommend to anyone.

Old Oak Land and Tree did a fabulous job. John and his team were helpful, professional, and thorough every step of the way. They cut down and trimmed several huge trees and completely cleared the stumps. You can't even tell where the trees once were!
Not only did they do great work, but they were also kind while doing it. My 3-year-old granddaughter really enjoyed watching them work (from afar) and taking photos/videos of the process. They didn't mind at all.
I highly recommend hiring Old Oak Land and Tree.

John and his team did a wonderful job removing several trees from our yard. John was extremely helpful and professional throughout the entire process. I cannot recommend them enough!

Old Oak Land and Tree in Franklin , VA, did fantastic work on my wooded yard! John (the owner) and his crew cleared thick leaf litter, hauled away fallen logs and branches, trimmed low limbs, and removed several small trees/saplings , transforming the space safely and beautifully with no damage to the mature oaks. They were professional from the free estimate all the way through to the final cleanup, communicated clearly every step, and even gave a nice discount off the original quote . John and the team are hardworking, careful, and truly skilled , they left everything spotless and way better than expected. Highly recommend this reliable crew for any tree or yard needs. 5 stars all the way!
