Great experience. Removed old and installed new heat pump and air handler in one day. Air handler was in upstairs attic so they had to be disassembled to remove and install was disassembled and then reassembled in the attic. Very professional, courteous and polite personnel. Did great job of cleaning up afterward. Highly recommend.

Our AC broke down shortly after we bought our home 2012. Had another company come out first and gave us an astronomical est. We got a recommend to call Air Mechanix. They came, gave fair and HONEST est., did fantastic job and we have never looked back! If you want the job done right with no scam, terror or making you suffer in heat or cold to make you acquiesce to their tactics, you now know who to call.

I called the office of Air Mechanix, and told them the problem I was having with my HVAC System. The HVAC Technician called me a short time afterward to see if anyone was home, and within minutes, he arrived. The technician was friendly and very knowledgeable in his troubleshooting skills. He determined the issue and was able to repair it on the spot. He shared valuable information on the importance of keeping my HVAC system maintained. I would highly recommend Air Mechnix for any HVAC issues.

This place is a absolute joke and will bait and switch you on a price. I had gotten a call from my grandmother that her heat had went out and she had apparently called this company to come look at the issue. Since I handle her finances she had the tech speak to me and tell me what was wrong with the unit. He proceeded to tell me the air handler motor was about shot and needed to be replaced. So I asked how much is she looking to spend out the door for the motor and labor he proceeded to tell me $600 for the motor plus labor ( I heard it and my grandmother keep that in mind) . I said ok so out the door price should around what number roughly he told me 1100 should be the highest. I said ok your already involved so go ahead and do the job ( even though I have a friend I trust that owns a AC business ran in Portsmouth). So work gets done and she gets the bill for $2,000 which I understand sometimes unforseen things can pop up. So I call and the lady that handles the bills she ends up telling me the tech should have never gave numbers and second that he said he told us a $1000 for just the motor plus labor that's why I included that I wasn't the only one who heard 600 for the motor alone. She did discount the price a little but it was still $1880 after the discount. How are people supposed to just say yeah go ahead and do the job without a honest number given to them and then when it's almost double when the job is done but we just eat the bill. I'd never recommend this company to a soul and turns out many of my other friends have had issues with them as well.

I truly thank God for Air Mechanix that I have been doing business with since I started my business in Ivor because I got connected to them through the late Russell West, owner of Ivor Furniture Company. I love their prompt service and the kind, pleasant and most of all Christian spirit. I thank for Air Mechanix and I do tell others about how they all they can to get their customers well taken care of and the system is working perfectly when they are done. Love the guys at this place from the owner tothe newest tech!!! They are always nice, courteous, and professional. I have an American bully, and these guys have always been great with him, letting him tagalong and investigate with no worries. They provide their services and work on your equipment as if it were their own.

Chris is very knowledgeable and diagnosed the problem quickly and got my unit back up. He explained everything to me. He is polite and friendly. I would recommend him and Air Mechanix to anyone. Very happy with the service.

My outside unit was frozen solid, called a little before 5 , the technician Scott was out here the next morning about 9:45 diagnosing the problem. Needed a new defrost card a mouse had gotten into the old one and shorted it out. Replaced it the next day before the bad weather hit. Scott was very knowledgeable and communicated excellent with me on all timelines. Very satisfied with my service.
