Tree reviews in Fredericksburg, Virginia

The team showed up on time and did a great job.
I’ll have them back when needed.

Bartlett did a fantastic job trimming a large oak tree in our front yard. I would use them again. Very professional.

Just had the guys here to trim / thin a Japanese Maple, take down a big flowering Crab Apple tree and trim a Mulberry and other trees needing work. They were on time, pleasant, professional in every aspect to include a thorough site-cleaning after the job was done. Highly recommended and worth every penny.

Bartlett's has been awesome. I have a busy road behind my house and a small strip of woodline as a buffer that was left when they cleared the land for the neighborhood. There is a lot of wildlife in this little bit of woodline that I didn't want to compromise. There is a lot of English ivy climbing into the tree tops that will eventually kill my trees. Bartlett's clipped the ivy from around most of the trees and treated it to prevent/slow the growth back. The ivy is dying or already dead and I am so happy to keep these trees without endangering the wildlife. This natural woodline buffer is so much nicer than an ugly fence. They did great work and everyone I have dealt with has been so nice, from the person I spoke with on the phone, to Clayton who came and advised how to handle the situation and gave the estimate to the men who came and did the work. I just couldn't be happier. Thanks Bartlett!

This is the 2nd year I have used Bartlett Tree Service to prune my Dwarf Japanese Maple. This year they also did some other shrubs that had gotten out of hand. They were prompt, professional and the clean up was amazing - not a twig or leaf left in the yard. They also take care of the trees in our Community and keep them looking beautiful and healthy.

I have a 110 Foot Tulip Poplar tree that was near my home. I cherish my forested trees in my back yard and I wanted to protect my home as well as the Tulip Poplar. I had Bartlett Tree Professionals install a Lightening protection system on my tulip poplar. The men who carried out the work were very considerate and attentive to my requests. I would highly recommend their services to others in need of 'tree' work.

excellent service, professional work and clarification and clean up

My interaction for the past 8 years has been with Pat Burke who has always been knowledgable and responsive to my properties needs. Pat is courteous and a pleasure to work with.
I have used Bartlett Tree Services for tree removal, pruning, soil invigoration, and general preventative tree disease control . They have always done a fantastic job assessing issues and maintaining my property which has intricate landscaping and many specimen trees.

We've used Bartlett before for years when we lived in Alexandria and we were always pleased with their service. I'm happy to say that their service here in the Fredericksburg area is equally outstanding. I recommend Bartlett to anyone who asks.

Beginning with my first call to Bartlett, the experience has been great. Pat Fice in the office and our arborist Frank were professional, knowledgeable and friendly. The knowledge they possess and the way they deal with individuals is “comforting”. I would recommend Bartlett to anyone in our town needing tree work. Our town is small, sadly short of parking and hard to navigate, yet Bartlett seems to manage and get the job done!

We have had Bartlett for a few years and were very relieved to find a group of people who are so good at what they do. They’re professional, personable and have given us the help we need to save our much loved trees. They give us good advice and it isn’t all about wanting to do unnecessary work to make more money. I feel that with them, we’re a team. You get what you pay for. They’re much appreciated.

If all of the Bartlett Tree Experts team members are as professional as Chris L., one of their tree arborists, then they are a lucky business. Chris is extremely knowledgeable and is happy to educate the client about various topics related to plant management. Chris developed a rescue plan for one of our hemlock trees that was the fancy of a pleated woodpecker. I am extremely satisfied with Bartlett Tree Service and recommend them highly for anyone in the greater Lake Anna area requiring expert arborist services.

Professional, courteous and prompt. Excellent work. I highly recommend Bartlett's for your tree maintenance needs.

Another outstanding job today from the Bartlett team. They arrived on site, “reported,” directly to me and reviewed the scope of work Jason developed. Got straight to work, executed the scope exactly right and reviewed all work with me. Tree removal, tree sculpting, branch removal and ground bush removal accomplished professionally with complete clean up.
Well done.

We have been using Bartlett for almost 10 years now, and Clayton along with all of the technicians and arborists have helped us maintain our home's original landscaping. It means a lot to us that we can pick up the phone at any time and talk to Clayton about our tree and shrub issues; he always ensures a prompt solution. Collin, our regular technician, is especially knowledgable and helpful--we are grateful for his expertise as well. Thank you for such a great company!

Bartlett Tree Experts trimmed our two large oak trees and did an excellent job of protecting the surrounding area, respecting the neighbors, and cleaning up after themselves. The whole crew was very courteous and professional. We trust our trees to Bartlett.

Scott was Fantastic. Responsive, reasonable, and professional. HIGHLY Recommend them for tree service!

Bartlett Tree Experts are exactly that, tree experts. We've used them several times and they are awesome! They do a fantastic job and clean up after themselves. You can tell that everyone who works for them really care about the job they do. They are not finished until you are happy with what they have done. We will always use them.

I use these folks for maintaining our trees, and they are great. But I called them to ask about transplanting a small tree, which they advertise on their website, and the representative told me they don't do that because they don't have the equipment. I said, "You mean a shovel?" So, they are fine for other services, but some of the services they advertise on their website, they don't actually do.

These guys are great! They are professional and nice, let you know what they are doing before and after the job, are safe, do the work needed (without butchering your trees) and clean up, all while enjoying the work that they do. Couldn't ask for a better company.

I'm very pleased with this company. They were extremely professional and very kind. They helped me thoroughly with all my questions, would recommend them (and will) to anyone!
