They came out a did an amazing job early this morning to help me get out of my house! I am so grateful for them! Definitely recommend for professionalism and quick service! This is what my porch looked like before and after! I am so grateful for them!

The best tree service company around—the Top Notch crew went above and beyond all expectations. Six dead trees were removed within a tight area surrounded by fence and they made sure every cut was precise and accurate. The stumps were grinded down and now it’s as if a tree was never there. I was so impressed with this team! It was worth every penny.

EDIT: We just had Chad and his crew out to our house again (8/15/2025) and they successfully removed a 105 foot tall dead tree!

Chad and his team were excellent to work with — timely and efficient. They removed a giant 60ft tree in record time at an unbeatable price! Would highly recommend Top Notch Tree Services!

We had 3 large trees removed from our backyard and Top Notch did not disappoint! They provided a very reasonable price, arrived on time, and completed the work safely. They were very professional and cleaned up after themselves. I would highly recommend them for any of your tree service needs!

Top Notch Tree Service in Fredericksburg was a great experience! Thank you
They took down 2 Pine trees that had grown taller than the house an took the stumps down to the ground. I didn’t want the stumps taken out because I have grandkids & they would make excellent stepping stones…lol
They also trimmed my Holly tree down away from the house & shaped it! I would highly recommend them to anyone that needs this kind of service….Top Notch!

The Top Notch Tree Service Team was outstanding! When I submitted for an estimate, Chad was quick to come by and give me a decent quote, and within a day had his team out to complete a Tree Crown before it split and caused damages to my property, and the neighbors fence; and they also trimmed a few other trees that needed it. No damage was done to my yard, and they cleaned up very nice. Definately a Top Notch operation!

After interviewing several tree trimming services I selected Chad of Top Notch. What I appreciated about Top Notch was their expertise, knowledge, they didn’t under trim nor over trim. I didn’t want to damage my trees and they did a wonderful job of achieving this. These are giant oaks and his price was very reasonable.

Recently had a massive tree removed by Top Notch Tree Service. Extremely satisfied and relieved to have the "monster" gone! Chad was very reasonable with price, very professional, and showed up when he said he would. He even pointed out a crack in the truck which I hadn't noticed. A strong wind could have broken it loose and crushed my house! Very pleased with a job impressingly done.

I used Top Notch Tree Service years ago and when I needed their service again this year I was happy to see they were still working and in the area. This company is doing everything right, reasonable rates, quick service and (as the name states) Top Notch Quality work. I needed my Pin Oak cleaned out of all the dead growth. It looked terrible and I was deciding to have it cleared out or cut down all together. Since it shades the front of my house I decided to try and save it and just trim the dead growth. Top Notch did exactly that, they trimmed the dead growth with surgical precision and left the good growth. After they finished they cleaned up the area better than what it was before they started. THE CREW WAS FANTASTIC! This company is such a pleasure to work with. Check out the before and after photos.
Thank You Chad

I just added how the tree looks the following season, (Photo with the white van under the tree). The tree looks so much better. We are very glad we called Top Notch. Thanks again Chad.

Top Notch is an excellent tree removal service. Quote was written and detailed, giving us the ability to select which trees we had removed. There were 7 enormous trees and 7 large trees. All were removed.
Top Notch showed up as scheduled both days on time. They got right to work. They brought the proper equipment and were very careful with my septic system.
All trees were safely removed. They ground the stumps and removed all logs, mulch, and debris. Payment was due after completion and satisfaction.
We would definitely recommend Top Notch Tree Services to everyone. Ten star performance.

The large white oak in my front yard was taking all the nutrients out of my soil. No grass or plants would grow at all no matter what I tried. It was time to take it down.

I did ask around and found vast difference in services offered and prices. I contacted Chad (owner of Top Notch tree service) and set up an appointment. I liked how knowledgable and professional he was, especially in regard to proper safety needs in regards to the power line that fed through the tree. I chose to go with him.

I am so very happy I went with Top Notch tree service. The guys showed up at 8am and were completely done by 3pm! This included cleaning up the front yard!

The 4 workmen were friendly and courteous. I never saw any of them standing around doing nothing. They had nothing but the right tools to do the job right and they were good at what they do. I can not praise them enough and I would certainly use Top Notch tree service again.
