I did not receive any service from this company, nor will I. This company was to be my first to consult with after considerable consideration for a house cleaner. I received a post card in the mail advertising their services, so I wen to their website and scheduled for an in-home consultation. They do not offer weekend options for this service, so I arranged to go to work late so I could make/keep the appointment. I scheduled the appt almost 2 weeks ago. I did not receive a confirmation via email, call, or text. The appointment was at 8:30am. I received a phone call at 8:30am. The woman on the phone acknowledged that that an in-home appt was scheduled, but blamed their website that for not advising that it would be over the phone. After pointing out the website said "in-home" and not "over the phone", she then said she could see if she could get someone to my house for the appointment. I told her I was no longer interested and cancelled the appointment. First, I don't appreciate the company not being truthful up front. If you didn't have someone available to do the in-home appointment or if it was a simple oversight, I would have preferred that explanation. I understand that things happen and don't always go as planned. I would have considered a later time frame or even doing it over the phone. Instead, the blame was place elsewhere for not providing me the correct information. Isn't this a known issue then? Why not call me ahead of time and advise? They may do good work if all goes well, but it is little things like this that let me know what I can expect if things don't go well. Time wasted.

Need to change the team, bath room was good,  bedroom did not get good vac and the bed was not properly made, family room was not wet mopped and they left without letting me know they were finished

Wow oh wow was team 4 amazing. They were friendly, asked questions, worked quickly and efficiently. We also had a quality control inspector come during our first cleaning which was great to see. Everything they touched turned out better than expected. Floors are clean, toilets are fresh, counters sparkle, and all the dust bunnies are dead. What normally takes my wife and me many hours to do they completed in just 2 (and they did a better job than I do). 10 out of 10 would recommend and will continue to use this service.

Really great experience with these guys. We have four dogs and Dominica worked really hard to make sure the teams that cleaned our place were comfortable with them. They really care about the customer having a great experience, which I did not expect from a franchise of a chain company. Highly highly recommend.

After being disappointed with previous attempts at hiring housekeeping folks, I decided to give the Cleaning Authority a try. I have NOT been disappointed!!!
I was not sure they would even travel to my somewhat remote location but they happily agreed to come for an estimate. Ms. Anna Lopez arrived promptly, listened to what I needed, walked through with purpose, asked questions, played with my pup and was overall friendly and accommodating!! She sold it!
I've now had my first 3 Initial cleanings and couldn't be happier!! They use pet-friendly products and had no problem with a dog and 2 cats. I can tell they actually move things around to clean, not just clean around them. They leave vacuum lines, which makes my OCD tendencies very happy! Their prices were very reasonable and payable via on-line site so no cash exchanges.Their service is personable. Team 18 Brittany, Ashanti and Kalisha leave sweet notes behind with the details of what they did and informed me that our pup is wonderful!! I look forward to a long relationship with them!

Overall it was a good cleaning today. The concentration was bathrooms. More detail cleaning was performed, some obvious spots were missed a long the sides of the cabinets and under the cabinets by the floor

As usual, Cleaning Authority did a great job. My house is messy when they get here and sparkling when they leave. And they all are so pleasant and polite. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing a cleaning service.

We had team 13 and they were very good at the little things and dirt on the ground. We are very pleased with the results of our house.

Just had my first cleaning with the Cleaning Authority with Any and Gilli - very pleasant ladies who were sent to our home. This was a deep cleaning throughout our home. We are so pleased with how nice and fresh the house looks! We have lots of pets, and the ladies were so kind and welcoming when meeting and interacting with our inside dogs. We stayed home today while the ladies cleaned. They worked diligently from about 9 AM until just after 2 PM. Along with the typical things being cleaned, our fans, windowsills, under furnishings, and air duct vents were cleaned. I can now focus on other things and feel great about my home being clean! Thank you so much to The Cleaning Authority, Ani and Gilli!

Team 8 is the best! They have been my team for many years and Oksaua has lead the team during that time. We have been very pleased and today Oksaua and Maria did a great job. The kitchen was sparkling. Thank you!

I was scrolling, happened to see the review just left. I am actually RELIEVED that I saw the complaint's. I felt maybe that I was alone when it came to me dissatisfaction about the way this particular place in Newport News is ran. I have ALWAYS had bad conversation's with Dominica, when she answered the phone. She always rushed me off the phone and was aggressive when I needed something answered. It also seems she never called to check on the job after it was completed when certain people would clean. Who really owns this company? Hopefully She doesn't. I will never use this company again, thanks to Dominica. She really makes customers feel stupid. If I could get my money back, I would! Now I use MERRY MAIDS!

I just have to give a big shout-out to The Cleaning Authority — especially Team 6: Lorraine and Selena! They did an amazing job today! Both ladies were professional, friendly, and paid close attention to every detail.

My kitchen and bathrooms look spotless — everything shines and smells so fresh. They were efficient yet thorough, and it’s such a wonderful feeling to walk into a sparkling clean home.

If anyone’s looking for a dependable and detail-oriented cleaning service, I definitely recommend The Cleaning Authority — and if you can, request Team 6. Lorraine and Selena are fantastic!

Excellent service! When I had a leak in my home I was so scared the damp carpet would mold and cause major issues. They carefully removed my carpet and replaced it to make sure the padding was completely dry before signing off on the job. Economic carpet cleaning went above and beyond to make sure all of the water was extracted and came back the next day to assess the damage even further. Great communication, extremely knowledgeable and professional. Saved us a ton of money on what could have ended up being a major headache down the road. Highly recommend!

I'm a real estate agent and Joe was recommended to me by a real estate broker who does & has done a lot of real estate in the area. Joe's always done a good job with my clients. Another agent at my firm said that he used another popular company he found online, and then Economic Carpet Cleaning, on the same job. He did it immediately following being unsatisfied with the 1st professional’s poor work. The agent said that the difference was like night and day.

Top Gun did a great job cleaning our windows. Will definitely use again in the future!
