The Trugreen specialist knocked on the door to ensure I knew he was there and was happy with the service today. He was very courteous, professional, and i appreciated his checking in with me.

Do not waste your money. Absolute worse service, and lazy employees imaginable. Treatments are always stretched to 6 weeks and past that point, and the services are rushed. The straw that broke the camel's back for me is that after already waiting more than 6 weeks for my next treatment, the "technician" Khari sits in his truck next door at my neighbors house for 30 minutes before and after a drizzling rain. I get a text saying your service for today is canceled. I told Khari, we'll, it drizzled rain for 2 minutes, and now it's done, you can treat my yard now. He said his office told him to cancel all jobs for that day. He just looked at me like I had two heads...no effort or common sense applied. I'm done with TruGreen. Don't recommend. Try another company.

Devon M aerated and over seeded today. He and his helper did an outstanding job, and were friendly, courteous and professional! What great employees you have in these two individuals TruGreen! I do not know the name of his helper but they were fantastic!

Howard was most helpful in explaining how the process works. That makes good communication with customers to understand the process better.

Joseph is an exceptional member of TruGreen. He knocked on my door and listened to my concerns with complete attention. He walked every inch of the lawn with me to check the property line and explained the products he uses. He assured me that the shrubs and trees will soon be healthier. I hope to see the results soon!

Lawrence B arrived in accordance with the schedule and performed a thorough lawn service. He left me information describing today’s lawn treatment and suggestions about improving the appearance of my lawn. I am always pleased when I see he is the individual who will do my service because he always does an excellent job.

Weed control is super. However they fertilize too much, too often. No need to fertilize so much in the spring, should only fertilize in the fall. Just feeding weeds and making the grass too green and growing too fast and not building roots. Would be helpful to get more notice than a few hours ahead of visit so I could review pending service. Workers do a good job. Yard looks great. They control weeds that were very difficult for me to control on my own.

Horrible. Grass looks 10x worse than before. You sign up for a contract, they change the rate without telling you, don’t come out consistently. It’s BAD! Don’t waste your $. I’ve heard VIrginia Green is amazing!

They spent a spring/summer removing weeds (good), and then aerated and seeded in the hottest week of July (bad). It was impossible to regain any growth through that application of seed due to the idiotic timing. I then spent 6 months repeatedly calling and talking to various corporate and local people to remedy the situation. They repeatedly promised to come and re-overseed my lawn, but said that they could only do this if I did not cancel the service. Instead, they paused my service. They did not overseed in the fall, winter, or spring, despite multiple calls. By the time they finally scheduled the overseed in mid-April, they then were late with their normal applications. Weeds were already coming up in the bare spots. We will see what happens when they come and overseed.

A Tree Lover myself, the service received from TruGreen was exceptionally informative and educational too! Who knew weeds can creep through the underground traveling to? Pretty Please weeds leave my green grass alone, just leave enough for these feet to walk on and on passing through to say “Hello ❤️ Mr. Tree, need a hug 🤗 or two!” 1💚 ha ha a Chews On Beets Allergies Like @Tai_sound 💙

Technicians were extremely professional and listened to our concerns. We had the aeration and seeding service. I would recommend TruGreen to my family, neighbors and friends.

I’m leaving a three-star review overall due to the current condition of my front lawn, which has been maintained by TruGreen for a few years now. Unfortunately, despite this ongoing service, my lawn is still not in the shape I would expect for the investment I’ve made.

That said, I want to recognize Christopher D., who serviced our lawn on October 31, 2024, for aeration and seeding. Christopher was exceptionally thorough and took his time to ensure every part of my lawn was properly treated. If all TruGreen specialists showed the same level of care and attention to detail as Christopher, I believe my lawn would be in much better condition.

While I’ve been close to canceling my service and switching to a non-franchise small business, if TruGreen can maintain this standard of thorough service going forward, I would be more inclined to continue as a customer. Christopher’s commitment to quality and integrity is exactly what I’d like to see more consistently. Thank you, Christopher, for your excellent work—it’s appreciated!

Chem lawn rep did an A+ job treating our lawn with fertilizer and weed control. Our yard has lots of trees and beds scattered making the job difficult. The rep took his time and did a very professional job. He was very courteous and friendly too.

This company has the worst customer service. They NEVER listen to their customers at all! They called & said they were coming & I requested a certain technician named Faith to come to my house & they assured me that she would be sent & they sent someone totally different. Also, they are suppose to call 24 hrs in advance & I have recieved same day phone calls thst they are coming with NO notice when I have a Gate & pool. When I ask to speak to a mgr. Nobody will let me speak to one & the assure me they will call & NEVER do. I am considering canceling my services if I do NOT get better service!

Great company great staff very kind always professional and does a great job

I prepaid for 6 services with Tru Green to include weed control, seeding and aeration. During the first service approximately 15-20% of my front lawn was burnt, and most of the weeds remained in tact. The second service was scheduled to be an aeration and seeding. However, that didn't happen and another fertilization/weed control treatment took place.

When I called the office they said that was done in error and they didn't recommend a seeding for another 4 weeks, which in the DC area is very late to seed. When I called to discuss there was no management and a refusal to give a person to speak with. So no only did they burn my grass, it is unlikely I will see any significant restoration until Spring. Would not recommend

Today, March 19, 2025 I had my lawn aerated by a gentleman and his partner. Derrick did an outstanding job in the services he provided today. He is extremely detailed and understands the value of providing high quality service. Derrick
was also very professional. I would recommend his service to any client.

The truegreen technician arrived in a prompt manner. The technician immediately went about performing the fertilization and weed control to areas. He was very professional in completing the process in a timely manner, and cleaning up the areas after treated.

After 4 years of TruGreen promising to get it right after killing my lawn twice we are done.

This latest and last application took my formerly plushy front lawn to be mostly dead. Repeated calls yield nothing but a call center and calls back come in the middle of a work day where no one can answer. I’ve had technicians tossing granular fertilizer out of a bucket, leaking hoses and all I’ve ever had offered to me is a “free application” later. It poured rain for three days straight after an application on a 100’ day.
