Constraction reviews in McLean, Virginia

They installed a screen porch for us and did an amazing job. Not only is the porch now screened, but it feels far more open and bright than it used to. Very impressed with the quality and speed with which this project was accomplished. They'll be my go to for future projects.

I recently had my roof replaced by Optimum Construction, and was impressed with the prompt scheduling and excellent quality of work performed. Very competitive pricing as well! I would recommend this business to others looking for quality workmanship.

On time and on budget!! Both times the work has met or exceeded expectations.
New roof and gutters installed on 1948 home. Care and attention was given to ensuring the aged underlayment of the roof was repaired and waterproofed.
Vinyl siding replaced with Hardiboard! Again attention way given to ensuring trim and brick were not damaged.
No surprise cost increases and no call backs.

I have worked with Jose on several projects over the past 7 years. He and his team are professional, timely and do top quality work. I would not hesitate to recommend Optimum and would definitely use them again.

Optimum Contractor completed a partially finished laundry room for me. Installed plumbing, drywall, recessed lighting, flooring and paint. Jose and his team were prompt and proffesional. They made sure all the small details were complete before the job was done. Thanks!

The roof and gutters look great! Jose, Victoria, and crew are professional and follow-up quickly. Jose is so devoted to a great product, he came out on a Sunday morning to make sure everything was perfect.

On Monday morning, my alarm company notified me that I had a leak, surely enough there was water dripping every where in my utility room. I called my warranty company, texted my normal plumber and called several other plumbing companies. No one could come out to assist until Wednesday. I reached out to Jose of Optimum Contractor explained the situation and he responded immediately with "turn off your main water and I will have someone there this evening."

Jose was true to his word, he and Juan came over assessed the issue and identified my leak right away! On quick trip to the hardware store to grab parts; and they were done within less than two hours. Both men were courteous, professional, knowledgeable and truly hard workers. They even went the extra mile in explaining how and when I need access to the main water valve. They are Godsends! I am grateful for their help and will use them for future projects. Thank you Jose and Juan for going above and beyond to help during my emergency. I truly appreciate all of your help! God bless you both!

Please expect a call soon for additional projects! Thank you!

Optimum construction is an awesome company for roof repair and installation. They are extremely prompt in answering questions and providing any information. They explained the entire process thoroughly with patience. They followed up after the work was done. We have recommended them to several of our friends and neighbors. Thank you for your service.

From Day 1, the team demonstrated the highest level of customer service. The roof work was completed in a timely manner. The siding project took a bit longer, but was meticulously done. Miguel was a very professional and engaging project manager. Victoria, Ilia, and Patricia were very knowledgeable and responsible throughout the project. My home's facelift looks wonderful!

We have used Jose and his team at Optimum for several remodeling projects - master bath, kitchen, powder room and now the upstairs full bath. They have also refinished and installed hardwood floors and done interior painting. All projects have been completed in a timely manner and done with care. Needless to say we have been very pleased with the work Jose and Optimum have done in our home.

Jose is absolutely wonderful to deal with. We have used Optimum for kitchen and three bathroom remodels, as well as complete roof repair and replacement. He guarantees the work and if we were unhappy with something it was immediately addressed and corrected to our satisfaction. Would highly recommend.

I honestly cannot say enough great things about this company. Today was Saturday and I came home at 2:30pm from running errands and saw that a ridge cap had torn off my roof. I called Ilia at Optimum and she was able to have Miguel, a project manager, in my driveway in 20 minutes. Miguel was able to get another colleague, Mario, out to my house in an hour and the two of them replaced my ridge cap in about 30-40 minutes. Without it, I would have had water leaks in my ceiling and lord knows what else. All of this was on a Saturday afternoon and on Thanksgiving weekend too!!! It is so remarkable to find a company who answers the phone on a Saturday and was able to come fix my roof in only a few hours. I am so, so grateful for this company and they will be my first call for home repairs. Miguel, Mario, and Ilia were kind, warm, professional, and thorough.

José was quick to reply to my first message. He came over, followed Covid protocol, and went over the scope of work. We had four other estimates. Optimum gave us a great price and I felt José gave more time with us than the others. His team came in and ripped off the existing shingles and replaced them in one day. They did a great job. Cleanup was thorough. I would hire them again.

Atlas general contractors refurbished my 32 year-old deck. It had a complicated pattern which I asked them to duplicate which they did perfectly. Their work was quick, their carpenters were excellent, and they cleaned up after themselves every day on the job. The project was finished ahead of schedule and I couldn’t be happier especially since my deck is surrounded by gardens and the plants were coming. I highly recommend them

Atlas did some work for us in our restaurant and I couldn't be happier with the finished product. They are fairly priced, communicative, great customer service, and thorough in their work. We look forward to working with them for many more projects to come.

Atlas did an amazing job building backyard tiled patio. Thank you!

Project completed ahead of schedule by a small dedicated team who worked diligently with no changes for a fair price

New deck installation on our third floor deck

Great Job! Very Professional. Attention to detail and follow-up.

They did a new driveway. Jackhammered out old one and poured new one in two days. Great job, great crew.

Excellent crew with quality work, well managed project with good communication throughout the project, most of all on-time and on-budget.
