I am extremely pleased with my routine fireplace and chimney cleaning and inspection. My chimney technician, Brayden, did a fantastic job. I had just put in new off-white carpeting, and as soon as Brayden saw it, he noticed his drop cloth wasn’t clean enough for such light carpet. He immediately called the office to get a fresh one and rescheduled my appointment. When he came back, he brought a brand new, spotless drop cloth, which really impressed me. The service was careful and professional from start to finish. I will definitely keep using this company for my chimney sweep needs and highly recommend them!

book with confidence! from my very first call, j.y. chimney cleaning stood out above other chimney sweep companies in mclean. a real person answered the phone and was so polite while taking down my info—no voicemail runaround like other places that never even called me back. i asked for a chimney inspection, and tracy explained how the process worked. she told me they’d check the chimney first and, if it needed cleaning, they’d do it right away and shared the price up front. the day before my appointment, they confirmed the time and gave me a two-hour window. brayden arrived a little early, which i really appreciated. he wore shoe covers and looked very professional—clean uniform and a van with their logo. he inspected my chimney, which hadn’t been cleaned since the house was built, and let me know everything was safe and in good shape. now i can enjoy cozy fires knowing my home is protected. highly recommend their friendly and professional chimney sweep service!

When the crew arrived, they were right on time and came fully prepared, even laying down drop cloths to keep my home clean while they worked. Brayden and Tracy explained every part of the process and were very polite and tidy. They ran into a bit of a challenge with the fireplace, but didn’t give up until it was fixed just right and the chimney chamber had a perfect seal. I found this chimney sweep service online and was really impressed. Tracy was able to come out the same day, which was super convenient. Very polite, professional, and worked hard to get everything done right. Tracy took pictures of all the work and explained any areas that needed attention. Went the extra mile and even rescued a bird that was stuck in our chimney—it was quite the rescue! The chimney was cleaned thoroughly, repairs were completed, and the price was very fair. Overall, excellent service from start to finish.

My house is about 35 years old, so I often need to bring in professionals to keep everything in good shape. When I noticed issues with my chimney lining after a small chimney fire, I knew it was time to call in a chimney sweep. I looked into several chimney restoration companies and decided to go with this one because they responded to my inquiry the very same day, while others took much longer to get back to me. Brayden, the technician, and the crew arrived right on time and made sure to clearly explain all the steps they would be taking to restore my chimney. It was obvious they had plenty of experience, which helped me feel at ease throughout the whole process. This was a big job for my home, and I’m happy with how everything turned out. I highly recommend getting your fireplace and chimney checked, and would definitely suggest this company for anyone needing chimney sweep or repair services.

We just had our chimney cleaned for the first time since moving into our home in McLean, so I wasn’t totally sure what to expect. Brayden arrived right on time and even sent a text to let us know he was on the way. He was friendly, professional, and really seemed to know a lot about chimneys and fireplaces. Throughout the process, he explained exactly what he was doing and pointed out a couple of minor issues that might need attention in the future, but there was never any pressure to buy extra services. When the job was done, everything was spotless—no soot or mess left behind at all. The service was excellent, and I would definitely recommend J.Y. Chimney Cleaning to anyone in the area looking for reliable chimney sweep work.
