Reviews of local pros in McLean, Virginia

I recently had a chimney sweep appointment in McLean and was very pleased with the whole experience. Both of my fireplaces were checked and cleaned on the same visit. The technician, Brayden, was very professional and knew a lot about chimneys. He answered all my questions and made sure to wear boot covers, carefully covering the floor to keep everything tidy. Before he left, he cleaned up thoroughly and even helped me put away the plastic floor covering I had set out before he arrived. Brayden made it clear his job isn’t finished until everything looks just like it did before he started. I’ll definitely use this service again and would gladly recommend them to anyone who needs their chimney cleaned or inspected. Just remember to book early, since they stay busy because of their excellent work.

This was our first time having our pellet stove cleaned in McLean. Brayden made sure to protect our hearth and rug before getting started. He carefully took the stove apart, cleaning each part as he went. Once everything was spotless and put back together, Brayden also checked the chimney and cap using a drone. He showed us the pictures he took and answered all of our questions patiently. Brayden really knows his stuff and is happy to explain things. He was friendly and very professional throughout the whole visit. We’ve already recommended this chimney sweep service to our family.

Tracy and the team did an amazing job! When I noticed a leak coming from my flue pipe, I got in touch with a local chimney sweep company in McLean. Tracy got back to me right away and quickly set up a time to come out and check everything. After a careful inspection, I received a detailed report explaining what needed to be fixed and how they would handle it. The crew’s attention to detail and the quality of their chimney work was outstanding. If you need any chimney cleaning, repairs, or maintenance in McLean, I highly recommend reaching out to this team. You’ll be glad you did!

I recently had my chimney inspected and cleaned in McLean, and I wanted to share my experience. Tracy came right on time and was very professional throughout the process. She explained that my fireplace had been capped by the previous owners, and although I didn’t remember all the technical terms, Tracy made sure I understood what was going on. She had a new metal chimney cap custom-made from stainless steel to replace the old one. The service wasn’t the cheapest, but it was definitely worth it for the peace of mind. If I had tried using the fireplace without having it checked, it could have caused a lot of problems. I highly recommend their chimney sweep services and will reach out to them again if I need anything in the future.

We recently had Brayden come out to inspect both of our fireplaces. One of them needed a thorough cleaning and inspection, while the other was brand new and needed some guidance on getting the right gas logs. Brayden was very professional and friendly, walking us through every step of the chimney sweep and inspection process. He even made a helpful video to show us how to safely light the pilot light, which was really appreciated. After finishing the work, he suggested we work with another team member to choose the best log set for our new fireplace. We’ve already made arrangements, and the new logs will be installed soon. J.Y. Chimney Cleaning did an outstanding job sweeping and installing new liners for both of my old brick chimneys at my home in McLean. Brayden and the team were punctual, very professional, and kept everything tidy while they worked.
