Reviews of local pros in McLean, Virginia

We had a great experience with the Dryer Vent guys! Jackson was professional, friendly and efficient. He had knowledgable recommendations for us which showed he took the job seriously. We would definitely recommend this company to friends.

Outstanding service! We were concerned because our vent is on our roof, 25 ft ftom our dryer. Some companies won't go on the toof, but DV Guys brought a ladder.
We received numerous reminders and a call by Jackson, our technician, when he was 30 mins out. Right on time. Very transparent and expert service, with before and after photos and videos...and a highly appreciated veterans discount.

We had a wonderful experience with The Dryer Vent Guys. We had Brennon E. as our technician. He performed a safety inspection and dryer vent cleaning. Brennon was a pleasure to work with. He was professional, polite and did a great job at explaining everything he was doing. Highly recommend!!!

We clearly needed this service. Jackson was our technician, and he was great! professional, thorough, and communicative. It was reassuring to see the amount of debris removed from our dryer vents. The team shared helpful, concrete information, including pressure readings before and after the cleaning, as well as a written report with images and practical recommendations to improve our dryer setup (e.g., replacing the duct and adding a vent protector to prevent birds or pests). The service was well worth the reasonable cost.

Image is just a little of what was removed from our vents!

Lucas came out to do our dryer vent and dryer cleaning. I got several updates prior to appointment and then got a confirmation call when Lucas was on the way.

Lucas was very communicative throughout the entire service. He was able to identify issues with the vent and complete the repairs during the visit. This was something that was completely missed or ignored by two previous companies in the time we've lived here

I highly recommend The Dryer Vent Guys

had an outstanding experience with Brennon from Dryer Vent Guys. From the moment he arrived, he was professional, punctual, and incredibly knowledgeable. What really stood out was how thorough he was—he didn’t just do the job, he took the time to walk me through every step of the process.

Brennon explained everything clearly from start to finish, making sure I understood what was being done and why it mattered. He was patient with my questions and made sure I felt confident about the condition and safety of my dryer vent system. His attention to detail and commitment to doing the job right were obvious throughout the entire visit.

It’s not often you come across someone who combines expertise with great customer service so seamlessly. If you’re looking for someone reliable, honest, and thorough, I highly recommend Brennon and the Dryer Vent Guys—you won’t be disappointed!

This is a scam company! They stole the name of another company in the same area. Do not use this company!!! They are located outside of the USA!

Horrible company didn’t clean anything and when we gave them a chance to fix it they lied to us about coming back out to complete the job they never showed up when we called them back they said they wouldn’t come to complete the job

Do not use this company we got scammed they came out and cleaned our vents for our dryer they didn’t use a camera they said everything was clean after they left we still had it he same issue we had somebody else come out and look at it and used the camera the vent was still clogged we tried contacting them to come back they were supposed to come today but never showed or called so I called them and they said they weren’t coming today I asked when could they come out and they said they wouldn’t be able to comeback out

I had Fresh Air Duct Cleaning Services come out for a routine cleaning, and the results were impressive. The staff was friendly and professional, and they did a fantastic job. My HVAC system is running more efficiently, and there’s a noticeable difference in air quality. Their attention to detail and customer service make them stand out. Very happy with their work!

Do not use this company. They were at my home for 5 minutes (10 minutes if you include the coffee I offered) and pulled out about a handful of lint. I asked if they checked with a camera and checked the interior ? I advised them that I had just gotten the dryer serviced and the repair man required I have the vents cleaned before using the dryer as there was a large amount of lint. They assured me of an excellent job and not to worry. After they left I felt so uncomfortable about the amount of time they spent that I purchased a camera to check the results of their job. It was as though no one had done a thing! I offered to give them the opportunity to return to complete the job and I sent them the following photos. they did not bother to return the call. I believe they are lining up “jobs” at $150 for 5 minutes time and are indeed a complete scam. These are photos from inside my dryer vent AFTER the
job.
