HVAC Specialist came out quickly to diagnose my issues. Unfortunately I was in need of an entire system replacement. The process to get financing and scheduling of the install was smooth and easy. The system of letting you know when the Tech will be out was easy to use and accurate. Both technicians we're super professional, and very knowledgeable. From the website, to notifications, and keeping the customer informed, you'd think this was a large company, however this is a local (Spotsylvania), family run business that operates better than most Big corporations. I would recommend HVAC Specialist for any and all HVAC needs.

Just had the best HVAC service experience of my life. Mark was early, diagnosed my issue within 10 minutes and solved within the half hour, on a weekend with a very reasonable rate all things considered. Cannot recommend more highly.

We had an older unit that had to be replaced. We received a quote from Robert B. Payne and the salesman told me I could get this energy star tax credit but that he "wasn't a tax person". It turns out the unit they were trying to sell me wouldn't even qualify. When I spoke with Mark he knew exactly what the energy star requirements were and we were able to find a unit that met those requirements for not much more money. The unit was priced fairly, installed quickly and we had a warranty issue down the line a year and he was quick to come out and fix the issue free of charge. They arrive exactly when they say they will and do a great job. Highly recommend!

Mark troubleshot my old furnace and determined that it was repairable. He quickly provided me estimates of 2 options - repair and replace. Replacement seemed the best option, since the existing furnace was old. HVAC Specialists had the new furnace ordered and installed in a week. They were professional and left the basement area where the furnace sits cleaner than when they arrived. I would do business with them again in a heartbeat and Mark and his team are my "go to" source for all HVAC needs.

Mark gave us an estimate on a new furnace for our nine-year old home. He and Austin were professional, courteous and informed us every step of the way. The furnace was installed with a smart thermostat in one day. Susie handled all the paperwork - appointments, contract, etc and registered our product. We now have our yearly service contract in place with them. Great people, excellent service. We would highly recommend them.

I had another company tell me our entire system needed to be replaced it was only 9 years old, they told me it was impossible to repair or get parts for. Mark came out and inspected the system was able to go and get the parts and fixed it within a few hours at a great price. Thank God there are still a few honest companies left!

We had a 24k BTU mini split installed on the second floor. This is a small family-owned business and they made every effort to make this a pleasurable install. They were always available for discussions and questions. They researched several options including ones qualifying for the government tax credit. They were very conscientious during the install and involved us in every decision. Highly recommend you contact them.

Mark and Austin are awesome! There was a very badly installed fix to a heating issue (2014 heat pump) in the 2018 addition on a 1955 year old house (identified at inspection, that we and former owner thought got fixed). They kindly diagnosed, confirmed cost of fix, and made corrections in less than two hours, and even showed me why the 1955 boiler (aka 2014 hot water heater) makes noises (they’re normal, but this newer home owner didn’t know).

I cannot recommend HVAC Specialists of VA enough!! Long story short - we had another company come out for an emergency AC outage, and during their diagnostic work up — they did something out of order and handled it in a way it shouldn’t have been handled. Then they gave us an outrageous estimate to fix the issue. I asked some family friends in the same field who said the quote was insane. My gut was telling me to get a second opinion so I called HVAC Specialists of VA. Customer service was top notch from the get go! They worked us in for a diagnostic and talked us through everything! Their estimate was on point with what our family friends said it should be! They came out ASAP to do the repair and got our AC up and running again! Seriously cannot recommend them enough!

Mark and Austin did fantastic work, replacing an entire unit in my house. They worked upstairs in the attic, in temperatures over 90 degrees.
