A&J Cleaners is my one stop for all things clothing. Whether it’s washing and pressing laundry, dry cleaning my best suit, or tailoring my next best suit, these are the folks I go to. On time, or a quick turn for that last minute dinner party, this is where I go, and so should you!!!

Great tailor and dry cleaner! I've had tailoring done on everything from jeans to suits and formal dresses and am always impressed.

I was a bit weary at first but once I picked up my braidesmaid dress which was 3 layers, June did a great job,at a great price. Don't let the appearance of the place send u away. Great work!!!

I collect WWII militaria and recently dropped off two sets of WWII-vintage US Navy officer whites for dry cleaning. One of them was in especially bad shape with stains all over that were probably over 70 years old. A&J Cleaners were able to get the stains off of the uniforms and looking they were almost new! I was very impressed and they far surpassed my greatest expectations for these. I highly recommend them for any of your garments! They treated these with great care!

It was okay, I called first for a price range she told me to bring the items in and when I did it was a little expensive she asked if it was my first time and I said yes but she didn't offer a discount for first time, then she told me my items wouldn't be ready until June 1st which is next month. I haven't received my items yet but I will see how it turns out and determine from there if I'll return again.

Fair price and good service. Never had a problem and the do fairly quick work. I used them all three years I was stationed at Naval Station Norfolk for dry cleaning/pressing and alterations.

By far the best service in norfolk and va beach area. Her alteration service is the best ... I brought my grooms men tux to her. Just by looking at every one she knew what adjustment was needed. By the time she was done it was beyond perfect. .. I will highly recommend this service to any one looking for a professional job.. the cost is pretty fair compared to the other places I tried . If after your service you want adjustment just talk to her she will make sure your are satisfied before you leave... Trust me her service are great.

This place is amazing!! I need a satin white dress cleaned overnight. The woman (owner) I believe waited on me. They did an incredible job!! This dress looks brand new. It had 3 or 4 dirty spots & a huge yellow stain. It all came out!! It's half hour away but I'll always go here. I couldn't be more thankful.

Outstanding service and flawless quality of work. Each time I take my clothing, she amazes me with the quality of work. If I could only hire few workers like her... Reasonable price and right on time too! What more can you ask. It's one of the few dependable shops in my life.

My wedding dress was tailored here and she did a fantastic job!!! Great communication with me, and such fast work! I will definitely be using her services again soon!

I was in need of having a new leather jacket sleeves altered last week. I contacted my normal dry cleaner because he advertises alterations. He operates Elegance Cleaners on Monticello Ave. in Norfolk. He referred me to another cleaners on Granby St. and they would take care of my alterations. Not too far away. It was a short distance from my house. I went there and to my surprise the lady there was the wife of my normal dry cleaner. She measured my sleeves and told me the price (reasonable) and said I could pick it up on Tuesday. That was last week (Monday). I returned today and was very much pleased with my alterations. I highly recommend A &J Cleaners for alterations. Haven't tried her dry cleaning services but I'm sure they're great like her husband's store (Elegance Cleaners).

My daughter’s debutant gown was improperly fitted by the organization’s chosen seamstress. I called A&J Cleaners on Monday and even with a doctor’s appointment that same evening, they were willing to stay open until 7 P.M. to meet our needs.

When I was still sitting in the doctor’s office at 17:30, I called to let A&J know that I would not be there in time, it was no problem to reschedule.

Their assessment of the situation of my daughter’s gown was astounding. The areas under her arms were adjusted so there was no rubbing; 2 extra loops were added to her gown so that it would close properly; measurement of her dress and slips were done individually to ensure my daughter would be able to walk without tripping.

I am more than willing to support Black Businesses, however, the workmanship was shoddy at best!

This is a special event and I want my daughter to shine and not have her lamp hidden under a bushel because of an improperly fitting gown!

Terrible experience! Both of my suit jackets were ruined. A 2-inch tear in each and left full of deep crease marks. The place is dirty, with a dog running around, and the owner was rude while pretending not to understand any English. By far the worst service I’ve ever had…Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this shop.

They did an AMAZING job dry cleaning my uniform. It’s so hard to find any dry cleaners that complete uniforms fast and with so much attention to detail. Love this place!!

I love this place. They are amazing people. They stayed open an hour and a half late because I had a wedding to get to and couldn’t pick up my dry cleaning till 4 on a Saturday I don’t know many companies that would do that and they handled my stuff with care. I am grateful and I highly recommend this place. They do an excellent job and they’re outstanding people.

I had the most wonderful experience with A&J Cleaners. The wonderful ladies here tailored my dress to perfection. They made extra appointments with me to make sure my dress was perfect to be the Maid of Honor in my best friend's wedding. I have never felt more confident in a dress in my entire life than the dress that they tailored for my unique body type (I am built like a weeble-wobble for reference.)

I was blown away by their work and I will be coming back for all of my future tailoring/alteration needs!

I called in the morning and Harold arrived later that afternoon. He was professional, prepared and extremely capable. My wife and I could not be more satisfied with his work and we will definitely use their services in the future. We highly recommend Hampton Home Services!

I am very impressed with how professional Harold is and extremely polite and how he went above and beyond. I would give them 100 stars if I could!!! I got a free estimate by email, made an appointment and he was very prompt and very reasonably priced! He cleaned my gutters, showed me pictures, made sure the water was flowing nicely and also alerted me of my roof where it was sagging and took a picture of it, that was extremely nice. He even cleaned up the mess he made!!! I appreciated his honesty and will definitely recommend this company with high praise and will be calling them again!! Thank you again!

Harold came to our house the day after I called, and got us a quote immediately. After waking around the and looking at everything he gave us an AMAZING price to do our whole house and shed. He was very polite, genuine, and cares about his work. I would 10000% recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a great power washing service.
