At the time of this posting, one of your company vehicles was being operated in a manner that displayed a serious lack of professionalism, courtesy, and regard for others on the road. This behavior is unacceptable, especially from someone representing your organization in a marked vehicle.

The conduct I observed reflects directly on your company’s reputation and raises concerns about the standards to which your employees are held. I strongly urge management to investigate this incident and take the necessary corrective action to ensure this type of unprofessional behavior is not repeated.

I recently moved out of an apartment complex which Peerless is the contracted carpet vendor for. Following moveouts, Peerless inspects the carpets inside the units; On my inspection, they cited "heavy soil/staining" but only provided ONE photo showing any soiling. The photo was of ONE 6-12" stain on the UNDERSIDE of the carpet (only visible when the carpet is pulled up). They also cited pet soiling despite there never being a pet in the unit with me, and wrinkling of the carpet in the living room. While the wrinkling was a true statement, anyone that knows anything about carpet knows that this is remedied by re-stretching the carpet and was likely caused by improper installation or cheap materials in the first place. Reading through their reviews, it seems this is common practice for them to be both the inspectors and vendors for carpet at various apartment complexes - a complete conflict of interest. In my opinion, they clearly provide poor quality inspections, they unnecessarily and prematurely recommend for apartments to replace their carpets (likely to boost their bottom line), all of which scams the tenants out of money.

These people are either scammers or inefficient! They gave an estimate to Boulevard at 3200 for carpet cleaning that said my carpet needed to be replaced. The carpet was installed a little over a year ago and I covered the carpet with an area rug to protect it. The doorways did have normal traffic. We don't have guests over regularly and no shoes are allowed on the carpet at all. The dirt there is completely cleanable so why would they suggest a replacement. I will guess that they did not indeed replace the carpet but put that so these people can charge me something upon move out. Most places I live I get a refund of my deposit because I take care of the apartment. To say I left a carpet in a condition that would warrant a replacement is preposterous!

We had 3 rooms carpet clean. Can not tell if they are clean because the carpet is still soaking wet. The technician came around noon, 7:30pm carpets still WET. 6am, carpet still WET. Had to turn the heat on to help dry it out, hopefully no mold will develop due to WET carpet. Also, their practice is terrible. You have to pay first before the technician start and you do not get a receipt until technician return to the facility and hand in money, checks. Bad business. I wish I can give NO STAR, because that's what they deserve! I told my husband to call Stanley Steamer or someone else.

We are currently in the process of moving out of Park 216 Apartments in Suffolk, and they require all carpets to be professionally cleaned prior to moving out.

We have become friends with some of our neighbors, who have already moved out. They told us that after getting their floors cleaned (by other companies), they still received a bill stating that, according to Peerless, the floors were deemed as "heavily soiled". One of them including vinyl floors! After scrolling down and reading some older reviews, this looks to be an ongoing pattern. But in an attempt to avoid this situation happening to us, I personally ask the Leasing Manager what company comes in to inspect the carpets after they are professionally cleaned, because if I just have them do it- they can't possibly try and say they were still heavily soiled, right? The company was Peerless. Ok cool.

I visit their website and submit an inquiry. I've sent in maybe 2 or 3, about a couple days to a week apart (all during business hours, just like they ask for on the form). I never had the time to call due to work, so I figured I could submit a quick inquiry on their website and wait for them to just call me. Anyways, I have never gotten a response- and I have an odd feeling it's because they recognize our address to be within the apartment complex they do business with.

This company, along with our apartment complex, just seems shady & greedy; trying to make money by claiming carpets to be "heavily soiled" after they are professionally cleaned. Leasing Office says "well you know, some companies don't do that good of a job". Lol ok, I guess every other carpet cleaning company just sucks at their jobs. While yes, it does feel unfair of me to be writing this review without actually using their services. And trust me, I DO want to give Peerless the benefit of the doubt and still book, but after reading other people's reviews and me not getting a response, I don't think I'll reach out to them. Such a shame for being 40 years in the business.

To anyone who has been recommended to this company by another business, or if you're considering them yourself: I'd like to advise you to just be careful. Although they have a couple good reviews, the amount of negative ones kind of speak for themselves. These people don't really seem to care about you, just your money. Maybe that's how they're funding their new location coming to VA Beach lol.
