Called late on a Saturday for same day service and they handled it quickly and with a smile. The tech's name was Steven and he was great! We will definitely recommend this company.

The people who came and did my carpet were well spoken and sharply dressed. U could tell they new wat they were doing. My carpet was a mess,I did not think it was even able to look as bright as it did when they finnished. Ill be calling them back for a long time

We truly enjoy doing business with Peerless. They provide great customer service, and are always willing to work with our schedule. They also take great care of our residents. We would recommend this business.

The worst company that has been in my home. They used cheap contractors that cause damage to my home. A restoration company is supposed to restore your home not cause damage to your home. They have also been very slow to address my concerns with their work. I would stay away from this company at all costs.

Just wanted to share an experience with one of the drivers-
Saw this van almost t bone 2 cars while making a u-turn. Then proceeded to try to race us to get over cutting off another 2 cars and yelling profanity out of the window.
If this is the kind of people they hire, i wouldnt want then anywhere near my home. -
Very unprofessional! I asked to be contacted upon arrival to have a accurate eta so that I could have everything unlocked and ready . He told me it would take him about 30mins then he would be done with 3 bedrooms and living room plus stain removal so i told him okay I’ll be back in a few don’t leave I want to do a walk thru to check that stain before you leave ! I showed back up in 24mins and he was already gone ! He left the doors unlocked all lights on and the job wasn’t completed . I called him to ask what was going on assuming maybe he ran out of products he then said yeah uhh i been left I’m finished and you already paid. I asked why did he leave without notice also why was the lights left on and carpets not done then the phone hung up . This is unacceptable

We had severe flooding in our apartment from a busted pipe in the unit behind ours. Peerless had folks out right away out here all night getting our carpets dry. Didnt catch the technicians name but give that man a raise. Best customer service I have seen in a long time. -
Pretty decent brand. The staff are a bit professional on most days. I have scheduled a carpet cleaning and on that particular date, the staff claims my address is not scheduled on file with them at all. So a bit unorganized. Another time, the staff assigned to clean my carpet were unalert and unprofessional.

Zaya, our carpet technician, was FABULOUS! He repaired our carpet so perfectly, with no trace of the former issue! Peerless fit me into their schedule right away and the office staff was super polite/helpful!! We will definitely use their services in the future and we highly recommend!!! 5 stars and great customer service!!!

We have been told nothing but lies!!!!! We were supposed to have our kitchen done last week and they haven’t step foot in the house yet! The project manager has never once been on time to meet with us, the drywall guy got “sick” 2 weeks ago and hasn’t even been rescheduled yet. Cabinet people were support to have the work done last week. Were told they would be there and have it done on Saturday. Nope, they had “car trouble”. My husband took Monday off for them to work Monday at 9. No one showed. Project manager said they would be there at 12. No show all day and no call from the project manager. Were supposed to come work all day starting at 9. No one came!!! We literally feel robbed!!!

Peerless has helped us out not once, but twice with water damage to our home. They are quick to show up and get remediation started, thank goodness, and very professional, thorough, and well-priced. We are very please with the work they and their repair contractors do. Highly recommended!!

Someone was suppose to be here between 9 & 9:30a. I called the office at 9:20 to confirm the appointment and was told the tech was in route. (Btw I canceled my doctors appt and moved all my daughters furniture out of her room by myself so things can be prepared) Around 10:00 I called the office back to get a refund and to cancel my appointment and was told again that the tech was on the way... at this point I started moving the furniture back in my daughters room. Some man called and stated that he would take something off of my bill but I’ve already paid the full amount via debit card. We will see if I get a partial refund or anything back to my card. So About 10:36 the tech arrived. He Was only able to do 1 room because the cord on the machine kept making the circuit breaker trip. Tech had to go get another cord from the office and came back around 2:30pm to finish my daughters room. He did a good job but I wanted my carpet dry by time my daughter got home from school. Now we all have to sit in the living room until the carpets are dry. Never again!!!!!

We unfortunately were paired with this company via USAA after an unexpected water leak in my laundry room.
Our claim was filed on sept 5.
As of this date of review November 22, my floor is STILL unfinished. First they claimed we never submitted our order for the new flooring. They gave us a bogus timeline of completion. Then they asked us to order the flooring again and gave a completely different book of options so naturally our first choice was no longer available.
Once again we did not choose this company as USAA did, but if you have the option don’t waste your time.
Extremely unprofessional with not returning phone calls or giving accurate information.
I will personally be discussing with USAA about making sure this company is no longer a contractor they work with. -
Great company with friendly, competent technicians. As a Service Manager in the property management business, I greatly depend on my contractors as if they were part of my team. Peerless Carpet cleaning Service consistently responds, even if it's 12:00 at night for a water extraction or just a carpet cleaning for one of my vacant units. They understand the needs of the folks that live and work in high rise buildings like the one I manage. For example, the job may require a portable machine or a truck depending on the location and they understand those challenges. More importantly, if at times I feel that the job could have been more thorough I reach out to them and they follow up with no questions asked. I recommend Peerless carpet cleaning to anyone who needs carpet cleaning or water extraction services.

In late 2022, following a partial ceiling collapse in our house, Peerless was one of the cleanup/restoration companies suggested to us by our homeowners insurance. Initially, they were highly responsive and helpful.
The remediation crew that came to our house was uniformly pleasant and appeared to be doing everything correctly and thoroughly. Following the cleanup, though, our interactions with the company quickly soured.
The list of damaged/lost items Peerless catalogued and passed on to our insurance company was notably inaccurate and incomplete. Items we saw them carry out of our home and photograph weren't included. Over the ensuing weeks, when we began asking questions of Peerless, they were frequently unresponsive, and when we did manage to talk to people, they were dismissive and even outright rude, denying that they'd done anything wrong.
To add insult to injury, after making one easily overlooked effort to collect payment from us via an email that went to my wife with no obvious company identifiers in the "from" or "subject" lines (just a person's name and a subject of "invoice"), Peerless resorted to the threat of a lien on our home. We never had any intention of not paying — just overlooked a single email that, for all intents and purposes, looked like spam. They never gave us a courtesy call or mailed us an invoice or sent a follow-up email. In fact, I had wondered aloud to my wife why we hadn't yet received a bill at all. We figured they were just being slow to collect payment.
Then, out of the blue, we got a threatening voicemail that gave us 24 hours to make full payment — or else. Given the fact that we had been asking questions of Peerless about their failure to account for a number of the items they removed from our home, it came across like bullying or retaliation — just a way to nip things in the bud. Despite the absolutely toxic situation, we immediately paid in full with the money we had set aside for that specific purpose.
Eventually, after several months, thanks to my wife's sheer persistence and thorough cataloguing of lost items, we were able to reach a fairly reasonable claim with our insurance company. Had we relied on Peerless alone to be thorough and transparent, we would've lost a lot.
Our dealings with Peerless may have been unique to us, but I cannot in good conscience recommend their remediation services to anyone. Period. You'd do well to shop around. -
Used Peerless from a USAA claim in 2023.
1.) Electrical contractor ruined our kitchen outlets. They still don't work. They caused us to lose food and frozen breastmilk.
2.) They didn't clean the house before making us move back in.
3.) their tile and grout work was subpar, but our rental ran out so we accepted it just to move back in to our house.
4.) as far as I can tell, Peerless employs project managers then subcontracts all work to the lowest bidder. Other reviews are sharing similar concerns around subpar work.
5.) multiple warranty issues since.
So I call, and I'm told I worked with PeerlessVB, which is now owned by PeerlessVA, and despite being the same company, Peerless VA is not honoring the warranty offered by PeerlessVB.
I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and look forward to a resolution to this issue. -
Peerless was recommended highly by several people and companies in Norfolk. I recently booked them to clean the apt of a family member. When the gentleman arrived he was extremely courteous and professional. On reviewing the job he said "I don't want to waste your money by cleaning this because I am sure this building will require the carpet to be replaced." He didn't even charge me anything for the visit! How is that for honesty and professionalism?!! I'd give over five starts if I could.

I had a flood in my apartment due to a burst washer hose. Tavis from Peerless showed up Saturday evening and removed the damaged padding, sucked up all the water from the carpet and carefully installed blowers under the carpet to dry the area, half of my living room. He also set up a dehumidifier to extract water from the air.
The equipment was left until everything was thoroughly dry and then he returned, replaced the damaged underpadding with new, re-tacked the carpet, and cleaned up. It looks as good as new.
I would recommend Peerless for anybody with this kind of problem! -
So impressed with this company. I am on the third floor in an apartment building with only steps. I could not find anyone to help me clean my carpets. Not only did Peerless schedule me same week ( my request) but their customers service and professionalism was amazing. From placing my call and speaking with a lovely representative to welcoming Calvin to my home, on time. Services were performed and I am beyond satisfied and appreciative. Don’t hesitate to book with Peerless, and ask for Calvin.

Do not use them, and if your insurance company recommends them tell them no!
How you going to charge for putting in flooring for the whole bathroom! You didn't move or put flooring under the tub. They will try and add extra charges that make no sense.
Also their manager jon vogel will argue with you like a toddler. I have had better conversations with a screaming toddler than this man child.
Save time, money, and head ache and go some where else. -
These guys came out brought by my insurance company... I see why they have to get their business that way. Removed mold and remodeled bathroom. Well, apparently they didn't used a plumber to re-install my shower since there was no sealant (Plumbers putty or silicone) around the shower drain flange. I was told by a REAL plumber that a first year apprentice shouldn't make that mistake. Anyway fast forward I've called a few times with no response. I've attached pics so you could see the epic fail. DON'T USE THESE GUYS. Atlantic or United would be better choices. Don't let your insurance company bring them. Hire your own. Someone who doesn't need to give kickbacks to earn business
