Called a better handyman to come repair some bubbling on a flat rubber roof I had done and they were able to come quickly and rather than repair they replaced, fixed, and cleaned it all up within two days. Very happy with the communication and work they did on our home. (Photos show black roof as before and white after)

The receptionist was very friendly, but after saying they would inspect the job and give us a quote, the company ghosted us! They never called us back, and when my wife and I called multiple times all we got was voicemail. I understand if you are too busy to take a job, but just tell us! We ended up doing the work ourselves. Very disappointed with the communication.

These guys were great. Needed a roof put on a storage area in the back yard we were building. We called and explained what we had up and what we wanted. Joe (owner) set it up for today which was about 4 days out from when I first called. The roof guy Mike was here first thing this morning to check it out and after the rain stopped he was back and went right to work. The crew did an awesome job putting a flat roof down and made sure to clean up after they were done. Very polite and the job was reasonably priced. Thanks Joe for sending Mike out. It looks great.

I woke up to have part of my roof, metal trim and soffit damaged in the night's rain/wind storm. The metal trim was still attached at one end and being blown by the wind, I was concerned it was going to tear off and possibly damage something else. So I needed to get this done quickly.
I called a highly rated roofing repair company, but they just managed large projects (like entire roofs)...however, they did recommend A Better Handyman, and said they did great work. It was nice to get a referral from a well respected company.
I called A Better Handyman, and they immediately asked for pictures, sent me a price estimate, and then sent someone out within hours to fix all the work. And it looks great. It was a relief to get this fixed before more rain or wind damage occurred
I moved out here a couple of years ago and have had a lot of work done remodeling my house. And frankly, I have really struggled to find reliable service folks that do good work, are timely and are reasonably priced. So I'm very happy I came across Better Handyman. And happy to hear they do indoor and outdoor work. I have a list of projects that I'll be bringing them back to help me with.

My siding was in need of repair after a few super winds blew through. I was referred to them and they returned my call the same day. I was able to get an estimate by picture, which was awesome for me with the post-COVID climate. Joe was able to come out sooner than scheduled and it was a smaller job than expected. Siding all fixed and Joe was awesome enough to check my roof out for me as well. Great job!!

On September the 30th.
We discovered holes in our roof from inside the crawl space of our attic late in the evening. I was able to get ahold of Shannon and her team to try to place a tarp and get us back to watertight. By the following morning Everett and his man had diagnosed

I enquired about an odd-shaped deck with ABH and had the owner Joe come out and give me a quote on a Friday afternoon. After mulling it over for a day, I emailed him on Saturday and said "Let's do it" and his crew was at my house first thing Monday morning!
The deck we needed wraps around an existing covered patio and A/C unit area. Also to be flush from our steps to the driveway, a ramp had to be made to perfection to make it all flow together. Joe's crew of Matthew, Wendell, Denis, and Rodney did an outstanding job with everything and met my needs and made adjustments as we went along. By Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. they were already done.
Outstanding job overall and I would recommend and use A Better Handyman again!

Hired Joe President of A Better Handyman LLC to repair rotten wood and paint a pavilion in our backyard. For the repairs, we had a signed contract and were completed satisfactory. The painting was an add on from first contract and hand written on a piece of pink paper to be exact. The writing was inside $$, outside $$. The inside was completed as expected but the outside was not. When we ask the painter about completing the job he said the eave was not part of the pavilion and he did not include in the outside quote. Look at the picture and you decide for yourself if the eave appears to be part of the building. Joe is very difficult to work with. Shannon and Joe were great from the start. Provided me all the information with a really good deal. Came out next day and got it done and my roof looks great!

These guys were amazing. The workers were respectfull and even took time to explain what was going on with the project when I asked. The prices were amazing. I was able to get new gutters, siding, roof, front porch post, ceiling repairs, and termite damage repairs done quickly and fair priced:)
House looks amazing and they were patient with me whenever I was a worried and asking a bunch of questions.

Update! I had a pipe decide to get a hole in it and better handyman was ready to help and have it fixed within 24 hrs. First guys I call for help that I cant fix myself:)

We called Joe at A Better Handyman LLC to see about changing the iron porch rails on the front of our home for some wooden rails. Matt, Rodney (and Joe) came bright and early this morning to do our project. After removing the rusting iron rails, Matt and Rodney proceeded with building the new rails. Not having any particular "design" in mind, we would peek at the progress along the way and were so pleased with how this job was turning out. When the job was completed, we were simply thrilled with the results. These guys did a superb job in making sure our new rails are not only strong and sturdy, but they had safety at the forefront as well, using beveled edges, sanding for smoothness and an additional metal hand rail attached as well. We thought the cost reasonable and seeing the end result, thought it money well spent! These guys are friendly, knowledgeable and leave your property just as clean after their work as when they first arrive. We highly recommend them and will be calling Joe soon for another project we'd like to see done. Thanks guys!

What a great experience with Joe and his team! Shannon was awesome, she helped me get this scheduled and was so easy to talk to. She displayed empathy at its best! I had only been in my home a few weeks and discovered a critical run off problem on my roof. It was destroying the brick patio below and leaving heavy water damage against my foundation. Joe cut to the chase and told me exactly what needed to be done. Even better, his team came out next morning!! Yippee! Well... what was a mess that was discovered when the shingles were removed, wow. Rotted wood, flashing not done correctly etc. No problem for this team they got the job done well and efficiently. This was a piece of mind with hurricane season upon us to say the least. They were recommended to me and I am paying it forward and will totally recommend them to others. Great job guys!!
