Needed some trees taken down before the hurricane season, since several of them were leaning toward the house. A friend of ours who is in the construction industry referred Jeremiah and Old Dominion Tree Company, so we called him. Very professional (returned call super fast). Jeremiah is a certified arborist, which we appreciated. The thing I liked best is how well everything was cleaned up. Our neighborhood in Midlothian has had several houses have tree work done recently, but all of those companies left the yards a mess. Ours was spotless when they were done, so we really love them! (Especially since it would be ME raking and hauling all the little branches if they didn't!) :-)

Old Dominion Tree Company provided the best price for the work that I was having done. Not only that, Jeremiah Tuttle was extremely responsive when it came to questions and reworking the quote. I ended up selling my home, so I did not have the tree work done. That said, Jeremiah was great to work with, and if I did have the work done I would have no reservations about hiring Jeremiah to do all of it.

Old Dominion Tree Company was the blessing we never expected. We recently moved into the Midlothian area where having a lot of trees is an understatement. The previous owner of our new home never felt it was never necessary to take care of all the dead trees & branches that could cause serious harm to our family and pets.

Needless to say, we had a lot of tree work that needed to be done. Jeremiah was great. Him and his team were extremely professional and kind. They worked through many rainy days to get a very large job completed. We had a lot of obstacles with our home on removing the trees correctly. Such as: a septic tank, curvy driveway and of course the home. Everything was taken care of extremely well.

His pricing was beyond fair. Jeremiah kept us in the loop the entire time. If you need any tree work done, we highly suggest Old Dominion Tree Company.

We had a tree down from a storm and Mr. Tuttle came out, gave an estimate in the morning and the tree was gone by the afternoon. The area where the tree had been had a few bits of sawdust and that was it! All cleaned. Excellent service!

My tenant, a United States Marine, called Mark Tuttle Tree Service, to get an estimate for a tree that had split in half and fallen on his vehicle overnight. Obviously this was a job involving an insurance company since two vehicles were damaged. I should add that his wife is 9 months pregnant and expecting a child any day now -- so getting the tree removed is quite important.

Mr. Mark Tuttle arrived at the house and treated my tenant "worse than he's ever been treated". He told him it'd be $500 to take the branch off of his car -- when my tenant explained that it was an insurance job and he was calling to get an estimate -- Mr. Tuttle got nasty explaining that he left another job to do this estimate, and did he want it off or not? My tenant asked Mr. Tuttle if he was going to send an estimate and Mr. Tuttle said no, good luck with getting the tree off, and left.

Definitely don't use this man or this company. Not the way to treat someone in the military - or a paying customer.

I called Mr. Tuttle to take down two trees and other yard work. He was very timely with good communication and did a very nice job, including cleaning up. Not to mention he removed a snake from my deck trying to go for some baby birds - extra points!!! Will call again when help is needed.

Mark Tuttle does an excellent job for a reasonable price. He takes pride in his work. "I got more than I bargained for" usually means something negative but with the job Mark did, it is a positive statement.My house is on a hill and two large trees toppled diagonally at the flat area at the bottom of the hill. Part of this area is in grass and the other part was overgrown with briars, small branches, brambles, and poison ivy. Mark, not only cleared the trees, but cleared this overgrown area. Now it can be planted in grass in the fall and used. I never expected such a clean-up, but I do appreciate it so much.

Mark & all of his crew (including Kelly holding down the office) - go down in history as officially saving the day. A tree fell on our house Sunday morning and by Monday afternoon they had it off of the house and cleared from our driveway. I can't explain how incredible it was to have someone sweep in to help us out so quickly and efficiently! I would give them 10 stars if I could!!! They will definitely be on speed dial for any Tree Service in the future…

Mark and his crew are the best. He came out to look at a tree and was back the next day to cut it down. They took down a fence, which was leaning a lot, cut down the tree, cleaned everything up in less than 2 hours and put the fence back like it was brand new. They even straightened out a section that was leaning that they didn’t take down. Look no further than Mark, I recommend him to anyone and everyone. Great job!

Mark and his team did an outstanding job at my residence. I had three trees removed, one trimmed and another downed tree hauled away. All aspects of the transaction: scheduling, communication, pricing and the quality of the service itself.

Great service! Requested a free estimate, and Mark called the next morning to setup coming out. The estimate was a fair price, and they got the service scheduled quickly. The tree was cut up just like we asked, and everything was neat. We will use them again.

When a giant tree fell on my house after a storm, I didn't even know what to do first. My family and I were so upset this had happened, but I immediately felt better after talking to Kelly and Mark at Mark Tuttle Tree Service. They were both so nice to us and offered to come out that day. They even began the work as soon as they came! We are so relieved to begin the rebuilding process and thank them so much for their help.

After I requested an estimate from Mr. Tuttle, he was there the next day. We went over some options for cutting down a very dangerous dead tree and found what worked best for me and my budget. Very fair price. After I gave the go ahead, the job was done the next day. Surpassed my expectations! Local to Powhatan, too! Highly recommend!!

I selected Mark based on the reviews online and they didn’t disappoint. Their team just came and removed two ugly large trees from our yard. They arrived early and completed the work so fast. Cleaned up everything. Great pricing too. Cheaper than the first quote we received. Would highly recommend!

Mark and his crew removed five trees from our property this week. It necessitated them taking down a fence gate and moving small boxwoods to get their equipment into the yard. They did a great job with the tree removals and replaced the boxwoods and fencing. They cleaned up after each day and I would highly recommend him to anyone needing trees removed. He was efficient, cost friendly and prompt, not to mention that all three who worked on these removals were courteous and polite.

Mark was quick to respond to our request for an estimate, quick to book us a date and quick to do the job. Quick might not always equate to doing a good job but, in our case, it did. Mark and his crew were very respectful to our property, willing to consider alternate approaches and very professional in their demeanor. We will call them again for certain.
