Constraction reviews in Reston, Virginia

I can’t say enough good things about LAB Exteriors! For the Gutter replacement, From the initial phone call to finish, the entire experience was smooth, professional, and exceeded all my expectations. Their team was punctual, respectful, and incredibly skilled.

Thank you, Brandon,

The crew was very prompt as well as polite, kind, and considerate. Jason was an excellent crew supervisor, keeping the employees working steadily, wasting no time. Jason and his crew did a fantastic job. Brandon Salyers, owner, came later, and he was customer-friendly, concerned with the standards of the company, and very happy with the results and the crew's performance. So was I !! Would absolutely recommend Lab Exteriors, and as a matter of fact, they will be doing another project for me.

I highly recommend Lab Exteriors. They put a lot of time into their work to make sure you get the best experience. Brandon was honest and thorough in his estimate. He patiently answered all of our many questions. When it came time to install the siding, the crew was equally amazing. Actually, I have to say this might have been the hardest working crew I have ever seen. And their work was impeccable.

I couldn’t be happier with the work from Lab Exteriors. The team was punctual, friendly, and really took the time to ensure everything was done right. They provided a fair estimate, and the quality of their work exceeded my expectations. I’ll definitely be calling them for any future roofing needs. Highly recommend!

Used Lab Exteriors for a roof repair and fan replacement. Alex was great, knowledgeable, and didn’t try to jerk me around. Repair looks great and the price came in much lower than another quote I got. Lab Exteriors will be my first call next time!

Lab Exteriors came on short notice to do a roof inspection. They found some minor problems and got everything resolved in a couple hours. A+++++ I recommend Lab Exteriors to everyone. Give them a call if you need any project handled. Big or Small. They will get it resolved.

The owners, Brandon and Alex, were transparent about every step of the process, educating me about roof repair and installation, and keeping me informed before and during the process. They tried to keep the cost down and were open about how the cost varies depending on how much plywood needs to be replaced—something that can only be determined during installation. The crew was fast and hard working. Extremely satisfied!

I hired Lab Exteriors for a roof replacement, and they did an outstanding job! The team was professional, efficient, and finished ahead of schedule. The new roof looks fantastic, and they cleaned up thoroughly afterward. Highly recommend them for any roofing needs!

Lab exteriors was great to work with. Easy to communicate, flexible, personal service with quality work.

Alex and Lab Exterior's crew did an excellent job painting my brick and replacing the shutters, including painting my front door to match. I've gotten lots of compliments. See photo.

We recently had LAB Exteriors replace our very old (and apparently rotting) roof with a beautiful, metal roof. They also modernized our shabby-looking 1957 midcentury modern home by replacing the siding with Hardie board and replacing the gutters and fascia. Brandon and Alex and their team members were communicative, dependable, and provided excellent customer service. We really appreciated that we could speak to them directly about the projects whenever we needed to and that they worked with us whenever our house decided to present unexpected "surprises." We especially want to recognize the siding team, who were absolute masters at their craft. We will be contacting LAB again to replace our windows this year!

I had a fantastic experience with LAB Exteriors and highly recommend them. I had numerous problem areas around my home that needed repairs such as large gaps in the siding, rotting wood, openings between our roof and dormer windows, and even thick vines that had grown in-between the siding corner pieces. I contacted several companies, but none were willing to take on the repair work. Then I found LAB Exteriors. Alex came out to take a look and spent a good amount of time walking around the property with me, discussing everything that needed attention. He was professional, knowledgeable, and offered very fair pricing.

The repair work was completed the following week by Melvin, who did an excellent job. Everything was handled with care and attention to detail, and the results speak for themselves—the house looks great and everything feels solid and secure. If you need siding or roof work I highly recommend LAB Exteriors!

I contacted LAB Exteriors to replace a loose metal wrapping. They were quick and professional.

Brandon and his team was great, they made sure everything was to our liking before closing out the project. They worked will with our solar company with the roof replacement and gave us a fair price for replacing the boards under the roof. Will recommend their services to anyone.

Lab Exteriors is a great company. They are just getting going, but bring a lot of experience to the table. They focus on quality and value. I got numerous quotes for my roof and suffered through some long sales pitches. They all try to gouge you while making it seem like you are getting a good deal. Thankfully I found Lab. Lab does everything the other companies do and offer a great warranty as well. With Lab, you won't get any sales gimmicks. Just the facts and a fair price. It was refreshing. The work was done timely, professionally, and exactly the way they said it would. Thank you Lab Exteriors!

My wife and I spent hours meeting with multiple roofing and window contractors. Brandon/Lab Exteriors was the only one to completely and honestly lay out the scope and expected cost of the work (which was less expensive than every other contractor we spoke too -- big name or small name).

Throughout the entire process Brandon kept me up to date with timing of installation, who would be running the crew, and what the expectation of the crew would be. For both the roof and window installations, Brandon made a point to show up to the site and ask how things were and if we had any questions.

With every question I asked him he took the time to break down exactly what was happening and why it was happening.

Would absolutely recommend Brandon/Lab Exteriors for anyone looking for a new roof or window installation.

I apologize for the delay in providing feedback, but I would like to share my experience with this exceptional company. They replaced the roof and all the windows in my home, and I can confidently say I have never encountered such outstanding service in my life. This company is truly one of the best for home improvement projects.
Their team demonstrated excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills. The services they provided were not only affordable but also of exceptional quality. I am 100% satisfied with their performance and professionalism. While I had received appraisals from several companies for my roof and window replacements, I was particularly impressed when Brandon visited my home to provide an estimate. His pricing and thorough explanation stood out.
After replacing the roof, I was so impressed with their service and communication that I decided to have the entire house's windows replaced as well. Brandon, Alex, and Dan proved to be a fantastic team. They managed the entire process with my insurance company for the roof damage, ensuring everything was approved. All I had to do was sign the necessary documents, and they handled the rest efficiently and seamlessly.
Their dedication, professionalism, and attention to detail left a lasting impression on me. I highly recommend this company to anyone considering roof replacements, window replacements, or siding work. They not only take care of your home's exterior needs but do so with the utmost professionalism and care. A special thank you to Brandon for his exceptional customer service, as well as the entire team for successfully completing the work and transforming my home into something new.

Great! I had a great experience with Lab Exteriors. Brandon was great in getting my roof assessed and writing up a quote. They were by far the best and most competitive price. All other companies that I got quotes from then turned around and met the price I got from Lab. So Lab gives you the best price from the beginning. The crew was efficient— getting the project done in a snap. Start to finish—- just great. Would definitely go back and use Lab for my next project.

We have used Lab Exteriors for new doors and windows this year and have been very happy with the results. The products used are excellent and the service and prices are exceptional.

I initially contacted Lab Exteriors for a service that they usually don’t offer. It was a total misunderstanding on my part, but that didn’t stop Brandon from going way above and way beyond to make sure I was taken care by LE’s crew. Definitely an asset to our community and I’m sure everyone will be seeing much more of Lab Exteriors for a very long time, and we’ll all be better for it!

Could not be happier! From start to finish Brandon and Alex and the entire Lab Exteriors Team was amazing to work with. Their craftsmanship...even more amazing. Having done several major projects on our home previously (roof, kitchen remodel, etc.), we are experienced in dealing with all types of contractors and none of them come close to the professionalism, attention to detail, and care that the Lab Exteriors Team provided us. Highly recommend!
