Johnny on the Spot was hired to redo my brick steps and to add a second set of stairs to my deck. The staff was very professional and customer service focused. Their craft was exhibited in the outcome of their work, absolutely beautiful. They kept the work area neat and clean. Steven monitored the progress of the work to ensure it was to satisfaction. His guys stayed on task. There was no lag time as they were all about the business. I would highly recommend them. In fact, I have referred them to a few people. I am so glad we chose them. Can't say enough good things about this company. Didn't have to wait long for an estimate. Steven came out and had our estimate within 5 days. Once we scheduled the work, they showed up on time, professional attitude, and wanting to work. Christian and Dallas worked tirelessly to build and construct exactly what my wife had visioned of and they knocked it out of the park. Whenever something needed to be tweaked it was always "yes sir, whatever makes you feel good about it" and always with a smile. You just can't find that kind of work ethic in labor positions today. Job took 3 days and never did I hear one complaint uttered by these men. Working directly in the sunlight and heat, these guys worked and worked and worked. The finished product just shows how much time they put in to make sure it was done to our vision. Can't recommend them highly enough. Call Kyle at JOTS and have Steven come out and make sure Christian and Dallas are on the job. You will not be disappointed.

Christian and Dallas were absolutely amazing. They stayed in constant contact with me, were courteous, and very willing to be creative in finding solutions for repair of things that were not simple and straightforward. Their work was top notch and I would rehire them both again. I am extremely grateful for their caring and hard work.

They did all sorts of things including wood repair on the exterior of my home, built a deck, reworked my front porch and rebuilt stairs, simple drywall repair, painting, trim installation, hearth repair, removal of damaged wood flooring, tile work, and little miscellaneous things I needed.

After completing an outstanding Power Washing job on my home, detached garage and driveway/sidewalks. I had this company install 24' of vinyl fencing next to my driveway and they did an outstanding job. From proposal work to implementation and completion of the work they did an outstanding job.

The service that we recieved was remarkably done with a little bit of style and elegance. He was recommended to build our home in 2020 during the COVID crisis and He came through with grace and style. Very professional and upfront when it came to the business end of things dealing with the house even when getting materials was difficult. He went above and beyond for us to just get the wood floors for the house from Virginia Beach. I have not seen or expierenced such a work effort with a contractor!! I tell everyone about him and hope that Cotman Construction can meet their building needs in the future. It will be some trials that you will endure with anything that you start and its expected but if the communication is Great then it will work out in any situation. Friendship

If you want someone to get the job done quickly then Cotman may not be the construction company for you. BUT if you want the job done well and with high quality materials and significant experience. Then Cotman Construction is the company for you.
