My air conditioner broke during the heat wave. I got in touch with Dino who had 2 guys out to my house less than 12 hours later. They diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly. They were personable and professional. Would recommend them 100%. Price was reasonable too!

We were very fortunate to have Dino's come in and help clean up a mess after another contractor (Timok Construction) did abysmal work and quit mid project. Our house was torn apart and pretty much everything the previous contractor did had to be redone. Not a lot of companies would want to step into this but but these guys did and we couldn't have been happier with the results.

On thing that stood out to me was the professionalism of all the men from Dino's, it was a 180 deg departure from what we had just dealt with. If I could point to one thing it would be that they all treated the place as a home with respect and care not as if it was just another jobsite, I've never seen this level from another contractor, that coupled with excellent work is a rare thing today.

Dino was recommended to me by the real estate agent and I am extremely happy with all the work he and his team were able to do! The entire process was very transparent and professional with zero secrets and surprises. He was able to answer my questions and did everything for a very competitive price. I will absolutely use his services in the future for any home remodeling projects!

Dino's was recommended to me by two coworkers. I had a leak that caused some damage in a bathroom and utility room. I can't say enough good things about his crew - Derek and Edin to name just a few (apologies to those I am leaving unnamed). They were so so so lovely and did really great work. They were super efficient too, I could tell they knew what they were doing but also worked really well together. They were terribly kind to my dog which is just good people vibes. Dino has a really wonderful team! They will be my very first call moving forward!

Tyler Mikelaites did a fantastic job remodeling our kitchen. He performed extensive cabinet modifications. installed seven appliances. A new kitchen window and new countertop and back splashes. He was very creative with the ceiling and crown molding for the new stove top exhaust fan. (Impressive) Tyler’s carful eye for quality workmanship was greatly appreciated! He’s the best finish carpenter and renovation contractor I’ve used for our home renovation. I can’t say enough about Tyler’s work ethic and workmanship! You won’t regret hiring Tyler with River City Renovations. Will definitely use him again as we continue our renovation.

Great company and Larry knows more about electricity than anyone I've ever known.

There really should be dozens of 5 star reviews for Fine Electric. My appt with Larry Fine this past 6-21-25 is a perfect example. For the last 4 yrs I had only partial electricity to my home and during that 4 yrs, I had 3 separate people come out to "fix" it. Well, the longest any of the fixes lasted was a week. Each person gave a different reason for my problem, yet they were wrong every time. I remembered a really super knowledgeable electrician that not only was a true wizard with perfect work, but 100% honest and reasonable. He was so accommodating in his time as well and worked around my schedule of trying to care for my partner in a rehab due to quadruple bypass surgery with the additional loss of a kidney due to cancer. I could never thank him enough for working with me. Back to my house with only partial elec service. Larry traced every cable and line in my house and even many outlets. He went through my entire panel box, too, and there it was, the problem that had caused me untold aggravation for 4 years. FIXED by the wizard and then even fixed an outlet that had been wired backwards and upside down. He was a perfectionist in his work, explained how the problem came about and everything he did to fix it permanently, plus he left not a trace of mess behind. I was overjoyed and went around the house checking all the room and all the outlets I used to use regularly. Later that night, a huge storm came thru and tons of folks lost power, myself included. Hours later, the power was restored and it woke me to what I thought was the sunniest day I'd ever seen. Ha. I'd left every light on in the house, and after I finished laughing at myself, I realized I was grinning from ear to ear with the happiness of seeing full light in my house. Yes, indeed, Fine Electric wins the all-time top award from me. If I could give 100 stars, I surely would. Outstanding. If you have any electric problems, call Larry Fine of Fine Electric. Came out to fix ceiling Sheetrock and garage wood. For the amount charged they basically just mixed up some compound and spread it on the ceiling. You can still see where the ceiling is bubbled and one area has cracks and then chipped to the point where compound came out in big chunks on the floor and kitchen table.

Project was done in May and by Aug. the ceiling was cracking and chipped. The image shows the crack and was taken before it actually started chipping and falling down.

As for the garage, they charged a very large amount to replace the slab of wood over the garage. This work was done fine but in speaking with the woman it was established that I thought (especially for that price) that the wood on the sides would be replaced as well. She stated that" we will get it done but it will probably not be until Monday (this was a Friday). I still have not heard back (this was 5 months ago).

In addition, at the time, we requested a quote on siding and still have not heard back on that as well. Not that we want a quote now but to still not hear back is a problem.

I've used Isac's General Services for painting, carpentry services, general repairs and general construction and even some general plumbing, electrical and roofing work in my personal residence and have referred them to numerous clients. They do an outstanding job and I get positive feedback from all of my clients!

We recently bought our first (older) home in the city, and during inspection discovered the entire sewer line needed to be replaced - definitely not the news any new homeowner wants. SA Toler stepped in and completely changed our experience for the better.

They spent over two hours thoroughly diagnosing the issue and walking us through the scope and cost (which was very accurate at the end). Ellen was fantastic throughout the process - she kept us informed on scheduling, clearly communicated costs, and patiently answered all of our questions (and there were a lot of them).

Once the work began, the team was incredibly efficient, hardworking, and communicative. What really stood out was the level of care they took with our home. They broke through concrete and removed what felt like endless buckets of dirt from our basement, yet when they finished, you honestly couldn’t tell they had been there. I’ve never seen contractors leave a space that clean.

Beyond their professionalism, they were also just great people -respectful, easy to talk to, and brought a sense of humor to a stressful situation.

On top of completing a flawless sewer replacement, they also flagged a mistake from our electrician that could have created a safety issue - something they absolutely didn’t have to do, but did anyway.

S.A. Toler did great work for us. A sewer pipe burst in our front yard, leaving us without plumbing right around Christmas. Toler came out, gave us an estimate with full details of the necessary repairs, and quoted us a fair price. They got the work done in a timely manner and cleaned up the yard so well that it barely looks like any work was done. Their workmen were also polite and professional. We highly recommend S.A. Toler and we'll be using them for any future plumbing jobs.

S.A. Toler has been a pleasure to work with. They patched our leaking water main in Feb 2022 and came back to replace the entire line in Aug 2022. Each time they were responsive, courteous, did quality work, and did their best to restore the yard after the repair. After the replacement, there was an issue with the connection to the meter and they came out first thing Monday morning to fix the problem, including calling the county. Ellen and Scott were great and helped us out when it was needed. Would highly recommend!

We had S.A. Toler replace the lead water line to our house. Ellen in the office was very flexible with the timing of the work as I had to change the date of the job several times. On site, Scott was very professional and the crew did a great job boring (hit the target!), replacing the water line, patching the wall, and cleaning up. I would highly recommend them.
