This review is longggg overdue. I purchased an arrangement for my parent's anniversary in December- the delivery date ended up being a fairly cold day. My parents were 15 minutes from the house when Katie called saying she was almost there to deliver the flowers. Even though my parents told Katie it would be okay to drop them off on the doorstep because they weren't too far from the house, Katie said she would come back the next day instead so the flowers would not be damaged from the weather. She continued to coordinate with my mom for the delivery. The flowers turned out so beautiful.
Strange's has been my go-to for sending flowers to my parents for years now, and this experience solidified why.

I love Strange’s, NOT the pests that came from their tomatoes. I have been gardening for 12+ years and I’ve never had a problem with pests in my garden. I’ve also always grown from seeds or purchased from Lowe’s. The one year I decide to “cheat” and buy from Strange’s is the year I have a god-awful hornworm problem. The plants then suddenly turned yellow and died all at once. I’d never seen anything like it. The flowers did well. And the price was unbeatable. But if you buy vegetables this season, CHECK THEM THOROUGHLY before buying. You just may invite a pest in.

I came to Strange’s initially to find flowers for a birthday. I was delighted to find out that they also sell mylar and latex balloons. Megan was extremely helpful and so kind. She made me feel at ease ordering these balloons on demand. I was also delighted to see that their store had greeting cards as well. It was truly a one stop shop. I was grateful that Megan was patient and able to assist me. I will definitely return for future celebrations!

Fantastic affordable selection of trees. They will trim and prep it for you onsite. Super friendly staff and found our tree within 2 minutes. I think we paid 60 for a 6 footer. Really glad we went local

A small little gardening shop with pretty much a lot of the basics and has really good prices and the old man who runs it is sweet he would check in to make sure if I needed help in such a genuine way.

Nice selection, great prices, friendly staff. I looked at 5 other stores for holly bushes and finally found them here. So happy to have a new go-to garden center!

Fantastic staff! They had a great assortment of local Christmas trees right in Richmond. They did everything that makes picking out a live tree annoying, they chopped any annoying bits, put in on your car and tied it down. Definitely recommend.

Simply the best. Great selection, great prices, and the GREATEST staff. If they weren't around the corner from us, I would make the trip to see them. Took the time to help me pick out flowers to make container gardens, and I loved those so much, I went back to get more!

The history behind this family own business and location . Nice, helpful and friendly. I go to get my cabbage flower etc. Mulch bag and scoop. Please support.Dedicated local business.

I love the garden center it is the hometown feel we need here . They answers questions and have been always knowledgeable. Offers quality beautiful pots .You can drop off your clean paper bags only for recycling. 💕💕💕

I moved from Alexandria to Richmond, and Heroes made the entire trip easy. Krista worked with me on my inventory, and she was so responsive and helpful with answering any questions. The FaceTime inventory was way easier to complete than any online ones since Krista was able to help me talk through how to pack different items. Scottie helped book my move and finalize day of logistics, and she also helped answer any questions to ease my worries going into it. The movers, Jason, Smooth, and Speedy were amazing! The truck was super nice and clean. They had all the supplies they needed, and they worked together so easily and efficiently. They were kind and focused on doing a great job. When I was waiting outside to stay out of their way, Jason brought me a chair so I’d be more comfortable. They were thoughtful and helpful from beginning to end.

I had two console organs to get moved involving three locations. They weigh 350+ lbs each, so doing it myself wasn't an option. Heroes completed the job with ease with the right specialized equipment. Communication was excellent and they stuck to the schedule as passed to me. And thank goodness they brought the right muscle! Awesome job!

Priced reasonable, quick response with questions I had - they gave me a time window and they were there during that time - they did what they said they would do - I can’t ask for more than that - highly recommend

Heroes movers removed a 1200 pound safe from my garage. Team showed up on time and they were amazing. Professional and courteous as could be. So grateful to the workers and Heroes Movers and Storage. 5 stars and highly recommended!

John J and Dom were great! They made sure to check in with me multiple times to make sure my vision for my poster board displays came true. They were very polite and I enjoyed how easy they made it for me.

The team from Heroes moving did a fantastic job moving our piano and large bedroom set. Courteous and professional. I highly recommend them. In addition the contact staff at the office were wonderful to work with.

Thanks for everything that you did in order to ensure my move went smoothly. You guys were great to work with from the beginning of the process to the end. Adjusting the inventory list allowed me to stay within budget. The guys (Bill, Jermaine, Joel, Speedy, Carlo, and Corey) who did the move were excellent. Very personable and respectful. Nothing was damaged. I really appreciate it and I will be recommending Heroes to anyone who asks me about movers.

The guys from Heroes moved a piano from a house down the block to our home. They were very friendly, careful, and the move took under 1/2 hour. The price was very fair and we would definitely use them again.

The team that moved us worked quickly and efficiently. They were so courteous and they laughed at all my stupid comments. Pricing was great as well. Highly recommend!
