I will have to say this is my first time using movers, but it was a pleasure working with heroes. They were professional and courteous and careful. I would highly recommend them.

I contacted Heroes about moving my safe from Green Top to my house. Before the move my father passed away. Heroes reached out and stored the safe at its warehouse for free until I could get back to Richmond. For the move, they were professional, informative, and just down right friendly. Thank you!!!

These guys did an amazing job! Very courteous and professional ~ they moved a grand piano and bench quickly and easily taking great care to wrap every inch in moving blankets to ensure it did not get a scratch on it!! I would highly recommend them to for any moving or storage needs.

Our experience with Heroes was top notch. They promptly came to our home to provide an estimate to pack out our entire first floor for an insurance claim. Lori was very kind and answered all our questions regarding what we should expect. The movers arrived on time for both our pack out and pack in. Nothing was missed, and nothing was broken or damaged. They also worked very quickly, but ensure all our items were protected with more than sufficient packing materials.

During the whole process, Lori was super helpful. She returned every text, phone call, and email promptly. She also took the time to inform and work with our extremely difficult insurance adjuster to make sure we paid nothing out of pocket. She went above and beyond throughout. She was always kind and personable.

Heroes far exceeded our expectations, and I'd recommend them to anyone.

Really great experience! Of the companies we evaluated, getting a quote from Heroes was by far the most professional process. They gave us a fixed-price estimate, which was comforting. The movers themselves were great - very professional and friendly. A very smooth day, with no damage!

We had a great experience with Heroes and would highly recommend them. We had a large and very heavy item that needed to be moved and Jimmy, Christian, and Kyle did an awesome job! They took extra steps to ensure nothing was damaged (floors, walls, item being moved) and I was impressed by their worker safety measures. We will definitely be using Heroes again.

We had a three-site move... furniture out of an apartment with some of it going into the second floor of a house and some things to a storage unit, and items out of the house (from the garage, second floor and attic) and into the storage unit. The communication for arranging the move was "spot-on". Everything was communicated up front with no surprises! The truck arrived right on time. Corey, Steel, and Speedy were not only efficient, but they were quick! They were also professional and enjoyable to work with. We were amazed at the coordinated effort of the three. Corey really knows how to maximize the use of space! The company estimated 6 hours for our move. It only took 3.5 hours and the cost was adjusted accordingly. I would highly recommend Heroes Moving and Storage for any move, large or small, easy or difficult!! We will certainly use their services again! Thanks guys!

I am so pleased with Heroes, who moved my Steinway studio grand piano into storage from my mother’s home, stored it in a controlled environment for 5 years and then moved it to my home. The piano was in wonderful condition, and, to my amazement, was still in tune. The office staff were a pleasure to work with. And the movers - both times - were extremely professional, and clearly very experienced, as they managed all of the technicalities of bringing the piano into the house and placing it. I highly recommend them.

Great experience from first call until the last chair was placed in our new home. After a virtual tour with Ed, we promptly received an estimate, which was very reasonable, and we had the opportunity to adjust inventory as we approached our move date. Jason and Dennis handled our furniture with care. We highly recommend this moving company.

Five Stars--Heroes movers were Punctual, Polite, Prepared, Patient & Proficient! They moved a highly-used, sixty-plus upright piano with the care of a baby grand. It didn't have much monetary value but it was valuable to me because it belonged to my grandmother and then my mother. Thank you to the Heroes at Heroes Moving & Storage. If I have another move, I will give you a call!

Just had a safe delivered by some of the coolest guys! Super friends, super professional! Got to business and had my safe out of the truck and in my house in under 30 minutes! Start to finish everyone I dealt with was very helpful!

Left a voicemail Sunday, they called Monday morning! Sent the videos needed of where I wanted it and path to get there… I had a delivery date at a very affordable rate within the hour!

Day before I was given a delivery window… They called my after picking up my safe from Green Top and were here smack dab in the middle of when they said they would be! All in all, I couldn’t be happier!

The move planning, organization & staffing was supreme. Our coordinators, planners & dispatchers were fantastic. The men were very professional, assertive, kind, and skilled. I recently hired Heroes Moving and Storage to move a large upright antique piano and several pieces of office furniture, and I couldn’t be more impressed with their service.

From the initial inquiry to the final delivery, the team was responsive, professional, and extremely careful. Communication was excellent, from the first phone call with Marisa to scheduling with Casey to the text messages leading up to the arrival of the moving team, Kyle, Corey, and Lamar. The team arrived early on moving day. The crew handled the piano with the utmost care, using proper padding, straps, and a dolly explicitly designed for heavy objects. It was clear they had experience with delicate and high-value items.

The office furniture, including a desk, filing cabinet, bookcases, and settee, was moved and set in place efficiently with no scratches or damage. They also protected the floors and doorways during the process, which I greatly appreciated.

Overall, the entire move was smooth, on schedule, and stress-free. I highly recommend Heroes Moving and Storage to anyone looking for reliable movers, especially for specialty items like pianos or bulky office furniture. Thank you for providing outstanding service!

Local companies charge less and are who I'd recommend--NOT Virginia Green.

I spoke on the phone and paid $1486.75 on March 31, 2025. This was for lawn care services, to treat the yard during the season and to reseed the lawn in the fall. They sent me a bill at the end of the season for an additional $164, because they mis-measured the yard. I didn't agree to the $164, either verbally or in writing, but they will not remove the charge from my account. I can forward the emails to you if needed where we go back and forth. I don't understand why the concept of me not agreeing to the additional charges isn't comprehensible to them but they are quite focused on profit and understandably so given they are owned by a San Francisco-based private equity firm, Golden Gate Capital (ie THEY ARE NOT A LOCAL COMPANY).
