True Timber was great to work with, professional, and worked very hard on a huge tree that fell in our yard.

The tree was in a difficult spot and couldn’t be reached by a bucket truck. All done by “aerial tree ballet” on ropes! Entertaining. I’ve used them for years.

Truetimber cut down a tree for me. They did a great job, cleaned up and even left me some mulch. The guy that came to do the stump grinding was efficient and cleaned up the site too. Highly recommend them!

I recently had TrueTimber out for some work and would highly recommend them. I had two large trees that dropped a lot of small to medium branches in every storm, and wanted to get them trimmed and make sure the trees were healthy, as I see major tree work being done in my neighborhood after every storm. I also had a smaller dead tree that I just needed removing. The estimate I received detailed what was recommended, and I received two options for the dead tree (leaving stump or grinding it). Communication and scheduling was done easily via email.

The day of the work, the team introduced themselves and were very nice. They worked efficiently and answered my questions. They did a great job both on the work and cleaning up the debris. The price for the work was well worth it for the piece of mind knowing that I have done everything I can to ensure my trees are as healthy as possible, and my property is as protected as is possible from damage from falling limbs.

Thank you, TrueTimber! I walked by and asked the team if I could have the wood chips (aka mulch) dropped in my yard, and the team was like “for sure!”. Once they finished removing and chipping the chestnut oak (unfortunately unsafe from slime flex at my neighbors), they knocked and confirmed with me where the drop would go. And here is the wonderful mulch so that we can finish by getting more cardboard and raking it out for sheet mulching for some lovely flowers! Thanks so much!!

I had the opportunity to play the disc golf course they have on the property and it did not disappoint! Very aesthetic and a blast to play! If you are in the Richmond area definitely check them out! This is a private course so make sure you use Udisc and get all the information before you play.

This is the second time we've used Truetimber to remove trees on our property. The arborists are great at giving advice and wisdom to help keep trees healthy, and the crews are careful to take down the trees safely and with minimal disruption to the homeowner. We have recommended them to others and will continue to use their services as we need them!

Crew did a great job trimming three trees and two hugely overgrown bushes on our property. Very courteous. Hauled away all of the trimmings. Yard looked great when they left.

Had a great experience with Truetimber Arborists. Communications were smooth, the estimation process was straightforward with Mike, and the day of tree removal and pruning with Chloe and her team was great and quick. They even called ahead to see if we wanted the service early when other customers cancelled and they had openings, and then showed up early for work.

I complicated things more for the team and asked that they cut the downed branches and logs into firewood size segments and leave them by my current firewood stack and they did it wonderfully. Honestly very thankful to the team, they went above and beyond.
