True Timber did an excellent on our huge Magnolia, a very large silver maple a red maple and some minor trimming on 2 other trees. Their crew was here pretty much all day and as the day wore on and time was running short several more of their team showed up to finish up. Thanks True Timber for a job well done.

My experience with Truetimber left room for improvement. I’d rate their work as an A+. They were respectful and careful of my property and cleaned up everything afterward very nicely. Sadly, the reason I’m not happy with them is their near complete lack of communication and seemingly poor organizational practices, which I’d grade as a D at best.

I get that this work depends on fluctuating weather conditions; however, it took just over 10 weeks for my job to be completed, and there was a 5+ week gap between the time they removed my tree and the time they finally came to grind the stump. My stump removal had to be rescheduled for weather, and 2weeks went by without hearing anything from my contact, although I sent them two emails (they don’t answer their main office line or direct numbers). I finally had to leave an angry voicemail, and learned that my contact doesn’t check their junk mail folder.

Their stump crew finally showed up today; however I was told last week that they would come in the afternoon. I very specifically asked to be notified if that timeframe changed, as I had errands to run in the morning and would of course change my schedule, if necessary. But they showed up this morning while I was away, and I received no notice about the change in arrival time.

Ultimately, I’m very happy with their work product. However, basic communications were extremely lacking and frustrating. I wouldn’t use them again in the future for those reasons.

James was very professional and attentive and the workers were also so professional and accomodating. I was told they would rake up all of the branches around the building but they left some. Other than that I thought the team was terrific.

The crew was very knowledgeable about the trees and took great care in their work. They did an extraordinary job of cleaning the area as they worked. They were very willing to discuss what they were doing throughout the day and provide assessments on the trees. They just seemed to care so much about doing what was best for the health of our trees, appreciated their value, and also balanced that with protecting our house. They were also not pushy to do work that we did not request.

Took out a large tree that probably would have come down in one of the recent storms. Also trimmed my huge and much loved Japanese maple. A few other things but I am very pleased with the results. Staff was professional and the quality was excellent.

Scott was a joy to work with! He installed a swing in my backyard for my kids and they're over the moon. He even checked back in to hear how much they love it. Incredible service!

We highly recommend TrueTimber. They are very communicative and deliver what is agreed upon. The workers on the day of tree removal and pruning were efficient and friendly. The cuttings were removed and very little debris remained. Will definitely call on them again.

True Timber are professionals, they amazing work with safety in mind, great communication and spoke with me thru the whole process covering the scope of work that was created from the quote. Very organized and reasonable price, highly recommended True Timber, we use them each time we need tree work done.

True Timbers has been great to work with and we have used them for pruning as well as tree removal. Everyone is very professional and incredibly knowledgeable. This company knows their stuff when it comes to the best tree maintenance!

We had a great experience with TrueTimber Arborists. The crew promptly cut down the sweet gum tree in our front yard, and then removed the large sections of wood the next morning. The stump was ground into mulch about a week later to ground level. It is hard to believe that an over 60-foot tree was even there! I highly recommend TrueTimber Arborists!

A good arborist is like a good hairdresser- once you find your person, never let them go. I cannot recommend the folks at Truetimber enough. I truly love my trees, it's one of the reasons we moved here. Truetimber has cared for our trees since we moved here in 2021. I trust them, because their first focus is keeping your trees healthy and growing strong for the long term, while also aesthetically pleasing. They love and appreciate trees, y'all. Their licensed arborists and crew's knowledge is vast, and they are happy to share that knowledge! We moved here from Texas where there is very little tree diversity, so having someone who knows what they're doing was vital for our exceptionally diverse yard! Our realtor Morgan at River Fox Realty, also awesome, recommended them and I immediately called for a walk-through & estimate. On Joel's first visit, we literally walked through the entire lot, and he identified every tree and answered so many questions. Turned out, we have everything from towering white oaks to a 100 year-old Willow oak to pines to a monster magnolia to 10 crepe myrtles & a small fruit tree orchard. I was overwhelmed! I immediately felt like I was in good hands, like "oh these folks REALLY know what they're doing, and they love my trees just as much as I do."

I have them come out twice a year for maintenance, and they've also done three emergency removals after big storms. They treat my crepe myrtles with preventive maintenance against sooty mold & insects. I've attached photos of a recent transformation of a corner of our yard that I had left untouched because of a massive poison ivy patch. It's under control (sort of) so we had the crew come out, & afterwards even our neighbors stopped by and complimented the work. It's cleared and sunny again, so I can put in my pollinator patch soon!

This is a long review, and it could be a lot longer, but to sum it up: the folks at Truetimber know what they're doing, they do it well for a competitive price, you get everything you pay for, with upfront customizable estimates. Their office staff is terrific. I recommend them at every opportunity, probably to the annoyance of some folks, lol.

Communication was easy, and they were able to get my tree service scheduled quickly, which was greatly appreciated since the tree had fallen and was blocking the sidewalk.
They hauled everything away and cleaned up the area. I’m very pleased with their level of customer service and their attention to detail. Definitely recommend.

The crew worked nonstop to remove a big tree that was growing into the fence. I'm amazed at how close to ground the stump is! Truly virtuoso work.

My nosy dog was very busy "supervising" the backyard from her back window perch, but also watching the tree chomping machine in the front yard.

They also pruned trees so I can get into the backyard without going through a jungle. They cleaned up so well! Not a twig left.

It was a long wait to get on their calendar after this summer of devastating storms that took precedence (storm damage absolutely needs to be addressed first). But the wait was absolutely worth it. Highly recommend.

My experience was excellent beginning with Peter Girardi accommodating my time schedule to meet at the site. HIs estimate was fair (very near a prior estimate) but TT was going to use a bucket truck where the other folks were only going to climb the trees . So the result was a much better job. The crew called twice to schedule and then reconfirm. They arrived when promised and did a great job. The homeowner was happy as were the neighbors. Don't hesitate to use True Timber. JIM

The entire experience was a pleasure. Speaking to a human being to schedule, the representative that came out to estimate was very courteous and attentive, and the crew that removed the tree gave some very good advice as to pruning and maintaining ie using the right tools for my trees.

True timber staff are exceptionally knowledgeable and skilled in their trades. The entire process from consultation to project completion was enjoyable for me as the customer. I highly recommend them for their responsive and professional communication as well as skillful, efficient and clean work days.

I am mostly satisfied with the work done and the amount I paid. I did think the tree that I wanted taken down by 1/2 would have been a vertical reduction but it was more of a side to side reduction. As long as it does not grow back onto my roof, ok. I also had the excessive growth in my yard cut back. Formerly I could not see the house behind mine. I was told a 'green screen' would be left but that did not happen. I can not only see the house behind mine but another house across the street. But, I imagine it will grow back and green out come spring and summer.

I had a great experience with Truetimber. The arborist that came out to look at my trees was very knowledgeable and thoughtful. He took his time to answer all my questions and give me options. The crew that did our trimming were thoughtful, tidy, and also very knowledgeable. Another man came out to do a treatment on two of our trees and the experience was the same - knowledgeable, happy to answer questions, and efficient. I was really impressed.

True Timber was great to work with start to finish and throughout process to make storm damage "repairs" to my huge magnolia. All personnel - responsive, available, sensitive to my requests, professional, and courteous. Especially appreciate care taken in my neighbor's yard, the main access for heavy equipment used on this project.

We have hired True Timber for tree servicing three times since moving into our house in 2023 and are always impressed with their level of care and quality. Our primary goal is to protect the health of our mature trees and our tree care advisors, James and Phil, have been instrumental in supporting that goal during their twice a year walk throughs where they also educate us on how to best care for our trees. The climbing and servicing teams are always prompt, communicative, thorough, and take extra care to clean up any debris. Would highly recommend working with the True Timber team, a group that truly cares about tree health, safety, and quality work!

Great job cleaning up a terrible mess. True timber was 1/3 cheaper than the competitive bid. Each person on the team had a very positive attitude, worked hard, and got the job done. I would definitely use true timber again.
