Ethan arrived on time for our appointment. He reviewed our request for installation of fixtures, outlets and switches. He also recommended the proper generator for our main and sub panel. He was very professional during his assessment of the work we wanted completed. We highly recommend Smithfield Electric!!

Smithfield Electric provided exceptional and timely service. I worked directly with Ethan to develop the scope of work and he provided an immediate estimate. When the techs had finished the planned work, I had identified one additional task I would like completed. Since it was a new request they did not have the parts to complete it on hand, however they scheduled a return trip two days later to finish up. The service was excellent and I would highly recommend this company.

Been waiting a week with no estimate and paid 98.00 to have one not good business. Not impressed especially when got what you got when you came here FREE and still no estimate. Tools and organization impresses people but good customer service goes a lot further.

The guys did a fantastic job! They were out in less than 24 hours to repair my outlet. This is my second experience with them. They will always be my first choice for electrical work!

Had 2 GFCI outlets that weren't working yesterday so I entered a request for service online. My error was that I hadn't requested an estimate. My husband had determined the breaker was fine and attempted to fix them last night but did not plug anything into them afterwards (our issue). As soon as the electrician applied the tester, green light came on. And the other GFCI immediately worked as well. Electrician screwed the 1 outlet cover back on. We checked to make sure grooming equipment worked when plugged in and it did. It all took less than 15 minutes and cost was $292.00. Outrageous in my opinion!

This was a very pleasant experience. Our tech, Deondre, was very knowledgeable and personable, and immediately found the issue we've been dealing with for a long time. We had a chance to discuss potential future work and get recommendations that will help us address other issues at home.

I do not recommend. I had an issue with one of my outlets in my home. They came out to check it, and the tech said there was an electrical problem and needed to be fix fo safety concerns. Told me the price would be very minimal. The Tech only changed on gfci outlet and I recieved a bill for $350. The Tech was not very upfront about pricing nor do they advertise there pricing. The gfci outlet they repaired cost $19.00. Poor business practice because they will not give you a true price for work upfront.

Today I was not quoted what the company technician was charging for to replace circuit breaker before installing one circuit breaker. He never trouble shooted th let me know if it was defected or not. So after talking to me while taking cover off of breaker box. He did have an assistant with him. He had see if any lights up stairs went out for power on that breaker.however he ask what did I want to do. I said that I wanted the breaker. So he went to his to check for replacement. He came back and said he had one. He change breaker. Then I asked how much was this service today and he $477 I said are you serious. He never used a meter or any tools but a screw driver. I felt this was a honest company. They should have told me that $425 was service charge plus parts. I paid because I don't have an electrical back ground. And I did not ask pricing before he did the work. I am totally dissatisfied for the pricing of this job. The technician ask me before he changed break did I have any electrical experience. And I replied no. At this point I guess he felt. I got you. And he did.

Alicia got me scheduled quickly. Pat & Nat were smart, professional, and honest. They assessed the situation and proceeded to fix the problem with my pool light much quicker than we thought. I highly recommend their services.

I called Smithfield Electric in a panic because of some bad electrical work by another electrician. Alisha, a member of the front office staff, was so helpful and due to a cancelation was able to work me in.

Smithfield Electric sent me a text so I would know when the electrician would arrive. Patrick was professional and courteous and was able to troubleshoot a circuit issue that was causing a number of outdoor plugs to lockup. I was out of the area and he walked me through the situation over the phone and left the area clean afterwards. Patrick performed an outstanding job. He even made sure our garage door was closed before he left.

The experience was top-notch from beginning to end. The work needing to be done was explained in a clear and understandable manner. All questions were answered, and any concerns were addressed with expertise. The quality of work was exceptional, showing expertise and attention to detail.

Deondre did a great deal of work for us in our garage and attic. In a society where it seems everyone wants to cut corners and make a quick buck Deondre took his time to do things the right way. He cleaned up after himself, was INCREDIBLY respectful, and explained everything he was doing so we felt comfortable with all the work. I highly recommend Smithfield if you want good quality work with someone you can trust in your home.

Smithfield Electric worked alongside VA Displays to install the outdoor sign on the front of my business. Ethan and his crew were kind, polite, respectful, and clean. Above all, they enjoy their jobs! It was a hot day in July so we offered them lunch, snacks, and cold beverages. They were incredibly thankful and polite. Joshua did such a good job! Extremely knowledgeable on what he is doing. He came early and got done just in time for me to make it to work on time for my night shift. This panel can now hold many more circuits. Our original panel only could hold 24 circuits.

Also, their quote was the most reasonable quote out of morlite and get lit.

The only reason Smithfield Electric doesn’t get 5 stars is simply because they’re very busy and can’t always fit you in fast enough(at least for me). That said, we’ve had a variety of jobs done from replacing a chandelier to checking outlets and no matter what they do, they do it well and with a maximum amount of friendly customer service and their prices seem very fair!

I highly recommend the team of technicians at Smithfield Electric. I contacted them after receiving an outrageous quote from Morlite Electric. The two technicians came to my house, performed their troubleshooting, found and resolved the issue for $400 less than what Morlite wanted for just a diagnosis. The technicians were extremely friendly, knowledgeable and efficient with their time. I would highly recommend them and will use Smithfield Electric if I have any electrical issues or needs in the future.

Easy to schedule an appointment. Excellent customer service while replacing our ceiling light/fan. Worked efficiently and was respectful of property. Cleaned up all work debris and disposed of broken fan. Explained operation of new item and remote. Very pleased with this company and their employee. Price included purchase of fan.

I chose Smithfield Electric by the great reviews and the lady that answered the phone. The owners mom. I try to pick local mom n pop small businesses. I asked her that question to how I found out she was the mother of the owner! Awesome. She informed me she would send Nat to the house for my request to hard wire and install some security cameras. As soon as Nat arrived I knew I picked the right company. Very professional and thought out a plan if it was his own property. Had the heart for the work. Great young man. The price he quoted me was a bit higher than I figured, however, I am not an electrician or did I pursue a second company. I had faith in Nat to do a great job. Thank you so much and I would hire this company again as well as refer to friends and family. Of course this was not a deciding factor on my decision to hire Smithfield Electric, however, I feel if I am willing to support a small business then a small discount to support Military Veterans would be much appreciated as well.
