Roger had done a small stump grinding job for me last year, so when a few large branches came down on a mulberry I have, I texted him to see if he wanted to do the work. He got right back to me, showed up in 100 degree heat and did a great job. Would 100% recommend.

We’ve used Opie’s twice to remove around 10 trees from our front yard, one being a very tall pine. Responsive, fair prices, efficient, great cleanup, easy to work with - we’re very happy with their work and will use them again in the future!

Service done: cut down 1 - 80 Feet Pine tree, 1 - 65 Feet Cherry Tree, 1 - 35 Feet Cedar tree, and trimmed multiple large branches from other pine trees.
Great experience for my first time working with a Tree Service Company. Roger and his crew came over in the morning and were done by 5. Very polite and meticulous in their tree cutting process. These guys did not use heavy equipment and it was amazing to watch them climb up into the trees and cut down and rope the trees in pieces. They were the most reasonably priced folks in town and I will be giving them a call back the next time I need tree work.

Moving to a new area requires you to find all new service providers and I have found my new tree service. We used Opies to remove two dead trees. The price was fair and the crew was very professional.

Opie's tree service did an outstanding over the top job. They were extremely knowledgeable, professional and mindful of all the obstacles in the way of completing the job. I have a lot of trees on my property and have had quite a few jobs done in the past by others... Opie's tree service was by far the smoothest and most professional to work with and also had the most affordable pricing. They came out with more than adequate equipment and we're very cautious to not ruin the grass or disrupt any other parts of the yard. I would HIGHLY recommend them.

I want to give a big shout out to Opie's Tree Service for removing 2 dangerous pine trees in our yard (one damaged in the storm last weekend). Gave us an estimate Wednesday & had the job done today (Friday). They did a great job. They were extremely professional & not only did a great job of taking down our trees they also cleaned everything up beautifully. Phenomenal job by all members of the crew! I had several very large branches about 70 feet in the air above my house and they were to trim them all and lower them down safely without damaging anything.

They worked diligently and cleaned up after themselves. Very friendly and a pleasure to have had them perform my tree trimming services.

Ray came to my house in between bands of a thunderstorm to provide an estimate. Mike showed up a bit later and they proceeded to quickly remove a 120' tall pine from the roof of my house. These guys are absolute professionals! Great small business that truly cares about their customers. I can't recommend them enough!

Amazing team and great service!! Ray and his team were professional, knowledgeable, honest and did outstanding work. We called for one thing and ended up adding an additional service due to their knowledge, helpfulness and ability to provide services right away. Great team, great service! Ray and Mike and the rest of the team dropped 4 dead pines and 2 live ones, all which were a danger to my home and property. I received the estimate on Saturday, and they dropped the trees on Sunday. Great work by some real pros, at a terrific price. Mike is the most skillful and accurate tree feller I've ever seen. Highly recommended.

Called after 6pm because a tree fell across our drive way, blocking our exit. Smithfield Tree Service answered my call abs said they could be there that evening to removed the tree. When they arrived it was 9pm and storming but they STILL took the time to cut the tree away so we could leave for work early the next morning. Highly recommended then for emergency situations and will have them as my first call for future tree services.

I am a residential customer with lots of mature trees. I have used JCA a few times now for limbing up, tree removal, stump grinding, and leaf removal. I shopped contractors in IOW and Kevin was the most professional, easiest to interact with, and reasonable on cost. Quality/value of services is 5 stars, scheduling/communication with the office is 4 stars. Depending on the time of year you may need to wait or be flexible with getting worked in quicker.

I have a laundry list of unacceptable services/behaviors this company exhibited.
-Did not complete the agreed upon services;
-Poor quality;
-Plants died shortly after they planted them;
-Non-responsive customer service rep;
and
- They took the money with no follow-up. Absolutely would not recommend, ever!!!

Work was done in a timely manner. All debris was stacked neatly as I requested. Price was reasonable. I’d wholeheartedly recommend them!

Great job on the leaf removal in our yard

I had a great experience with JCA. I’ve always wanted a garden, but never really felt confident enough to do so. They showed a great understanding of plant & land care. Personable, Professional, and Informative. A beautiful way to start the year. I can’t wait to see how brilliant it blooms. Definitely would recommend.

Don't waste your time or money with this company. All I've gotten are excuses, no solutions, and rude customer service.

Your statements are incorrect. The rudeness I referred to was the fact I kept being blown off by your staff. I never said I was more important than your other customers, but being put in the back of the queue several times and not getting responses from email support is frustrating. As to the payment, you admitted on the phone you had not sent a bill. Also, you did not offer a solution to the two incorrect services, only to fix it for the future.

Misleading readers is extremely unprofessional. I stand by my review.
