What can I say. Wow just WOW! What a great service! We had a massive tree that needed to to be removed and two others that needed trimming. They showed up at 7 and didn't stop till 4pm! They were great and it sure was fun watching em fell that dastardly tree. They even raked up the yard afterward and not just the bits they needed to clean up. All in All Alex Lawn Care 10 out of 10 do recommend!

Alex’s Lawn Service just did a major yard cleanup for me, and it looks great. It was really easy to get an assessment and quote too, which I very much appreciated. Highly recommend!

I have used Alex Lawn Service for three years on a variety of projects - lawn care, garden and leaf clean-up (including properties that have been neglected for years), trimming and cutting down trees. I have also recommended Alex to several of my friends and neighbors who now also use Alex. He takes great care and does beautiful work. His prices are not the least expensive but are fair for the quality work that he does. I recommend Alex's Lawn Service highly!

I have used them for years and they have done a great job at a competitive price. They also replenished mulch in the spring and and removed leaves in the fall. This winter, they removed snow and ice from the driveway, walkway, and sidewalk and did a great job. Highly recommended!

Completely redid my backyard from weeds and mud to nice grass. I thought it looked great when the work was done but it looks even better 6 months later. These guys know their stuff!

The team members are good at what they do and very hard working. The 3 men showed up early and finished replacing the about 800 SQ of grass by end of day. I was left with much extra Zoysia Grass Sod and I wish the initial estimate was more in line with what I needed. With that said, I would still recommend them for your lawn care. I'm planning to use them for other lawn replacement I need in the near future. The reason I gave them 4 stars is, every business can improve how they conduct business but I would probably would have given them a 4.5 if I had that option.

I found P&P Landscaping in a crunch when I needed snow removal in March 2013! At that time, Peter told me they also did lawn service, so when the weather cleared up, he came back and gave me an estimate for cutting my lawn and leaf removal.
They also do my yearly fertilizing and weed control; trim my bushes; weeding, planting and mulching the flower beds. And when we have a lot of snow, they also do my snow removal.
P&P has been doing my lawn service since then and I have been very pleased with their service. Over the years, I have recommended them to numerous friends who have also been very pleased with them.

First time using P&P Landscaping, very impressed with the quality of work. Peter was the lead for the sales he was very professional and polite.

P&P Landscaping & Lawn Care showed up on time and with an excellent/knowledgeable crew to remove old lawn cover, remove a dead tree, and install sod throughout front and back yards. We are totally pleased with the result and recommend P&P Landscaping for this type of work in Northern Virginia.

Another year of great work. P&P always knows just what to trim, what to feed, and how to make the shrubs and flowering trees look just right. They go the extra mile. Athan always responds to any question right away and I trust them totally.

2022 review: I continue to rave to neighbors and friends about P&P landscaping. Yesterday's work surpassed even last year's. I trust Athan totally to recommend new/updated plantings, and the crew - well, what can I say? Hard-working, courteous, friendly - if all contractors were like this, we'd all be happier! 2021 review: I am thrilled to recommend P&P Landscaping! Several years ago, I had a landscape architect design totally new plantings around our 60 year old house. The existing shrubs, azaleas, and forsythia were old and unhappy. I knew I wasn't ready to execute the design, but kept the plan and then began searching last month for a company to carry it out. P&P got great reviews online, and they are all absolutely true. Athan came right out and provided a detailed estimate. It was extremely reasonable, and moreover, enough below some other estimates that we were able to add beautiful paving stones around the beds. Those, too, exceeded my expectations in design and color. The plantings themselves are beautiful. And Athan adjusted the plan where it made sense to have more contrasting color, and also to move some plants into a different position. I couldn't be happier. I discovered that they also do yearly maintenance, and we are going to follow up and have them do that as well. The crew worked hard, were on time and delivered exquisitely. Athan clearly knows his stuff, and was committed to making sure we were delighted with the result. He was a pleasure to work with.

P&P Landscaping did such a wonderful job on our property! We purchased a townhouse with lots of crazy landscaping, and they cleaned it up beautifully! They replaced a ton of wood trim around our property, and removed an old deck and stairs that served no purpose on the side of our home. The results were better than we could have hoped for! Anthan and his crew were responsive, respectful, and reliable and we would definitely use them again for future projects.

P&P is great, we use their services for lawn care and maintenance, garden maintenance and spring/fall clean outs, gutters and more. They are always timely, communicate well and are open to questions. Over the last couple of seasons we’ve consolidated all of our yard care to P&P.
