Electrical reviews in Sterling, Virginia

Second time with Absolute. Our tech, Ryan, was not only professional, knowledgeable, and courteous, he also went above and beyond what was asked of him. He went the extra mile to complete all the work in one day. He offered advice, he pointed out things that needed to be repaired, updated, or could be improved. He left a lasting impression of Absolute Electric. Between him and Juan, our previous installer, we couldn't be more satisfied. Thank you for consistently exceeding our expectations.

Robert was great. He did a through inspection and had some great recommendations. He quickly completed the most pressing work and provided estimates for the other issues. I would strongly recommend to others. Great job!

Harrison and Kevin were awesome electricians! They were both personable and checked everything from the box to the GFI’s. All work done was excellent and they cleaned everything before they left! Definitely using them to put in our attic fan, and also install pendant lights!
Thanks so much for a job well done!

Robert came out and replaced unsafe breakers on the panel and removed and replaced the outlets in my horse barn. He was very professional, showed me all the repair options and didn’t try to upsell me on the repair choice I made.

Katherine was professional, personable, skilled and efficient. In addition to installing the cam-floodlights, she walked me through installing the app and testing smart phone controls--High Quality Work. Katherine is the third Absolute professional electrician I've worked with; they were all excellent. By the way, the people I know only by phone back at the Absolute office, Mike and Amber, are
top-notch. Thanks 🙏

We have had an excellent experience with Absolute Electric. Pyrce is our usual technician, he's professional, efficient, and obviously very knowledgeable.

Harrison and Gerzon were outstanding! They kept me informed throughout the process, suggested best courses of action and provided excellent customer service. I ended up getting a great deal on the work and I AM VERY HAPPY! On to the next phase of our garage project.

Absolute eclectic is rated a 5 star. Our serviceman was thorough and did a great job. We highly recommend this company.

Update April 2024: We had a service call from Ryan Kern and his helper (sorry, forgot her name). They performed an electrical inspection and added GFCI outlets to meet current code. Ryan also identified and repaired a short circuit in our breaker-box that was affecting our solar system (he repaired this at no charge because Absolute had installed the breaker-box in 2023). Finally, Ryan installed an OTA TV antenna on top of our house and ran the coaxial cable into the house--and grounded the whole thing according to current safety codes. This was not on the original work-order, but Ryan estimated the job and then completed the work that afternoon.

The two technicians were friendly, knowledgeable, and easy-to-talk to. They answered all of our questions. Ryan even correctly diagnosed the problem in our motorized backyard pergola (he suspected a bad motor or controller). Indeed, the pergola installers came out later that week and replaced the controller unit for the motor, and that solved the problem. Overall, we were pleased with the service provided by Ryan and Absolute Electric.

April 2023: replaced our electrical panel, installed a car-charger, installed panels sensors, and added 120V outlets in garage

Harrison was the consummate professional. Very competent, great explanations and walked me through the solutions available. I’d highly recommend Harrison and Absolute Electric. Here’s an example pic of the excellent work product. Quick, clean, and back in business in our kitchen!

Absolute has been our family go-to since our contractor used them in a renovation. Top-tier, dedicated service, clean work, and never an attempt to sell me on things I don't need.

Excellent job! Competent, timely, hardworking, and pleasant technicians. They answered all my questions thoroughly and kept me informed of each step in the process. Highly recommend!

Robert and his team did a great job installing extra lighting fixtures in our weird old house! They minimized drywall damage and were great about communicating with me about options!

Robert did a great job installing two ceiling fans in our 100+ yr old porch. He was very careful with the delicate, aged wiring, and recommended an alternative installation method to minimize damage to the original porch ceiling. Very happy with the work. Our porch is now usable in the summertime!

Needed an electrician to upgrade line for new induction stove. Used best picks and called around. Absolute got back to me first, reviewed my request and we set a date & time window. Day of work - they called to ask if they could come early and it worked for me. They walked me thru what needed to be done and the price - it was reasonable, so they did the work. Pryce did a great job - above & beyond. So great customer service and handled job very well. I would absolutely recommend them for your electrical needs.

Absolute electricians installed a security camera and light, surge protector, and chandelier. They provided superior service, including minimal drywall damage, and even saved the manuals. Very highly recommended!

We had our annual safety inspection done by Isaiah. He did a great job, was on time, worked quickly, and explained everything without trying to upsell me on anything. I would use Absolute Electric again.

Ryan and Anthony from Absolute Electric did an incredible job, but I should have expected that after nearly a decade of similar results in the variety of requests I've made over the years. Not only did they fix up the lights in my kitchen and living room to chase away the shadows that used to haunt both rooms regularly, but they provided a number of handy tips throughout the process. Finally, they cleaned up my floors afterwards, even going the extra mile to borrow a brush and some cleaner after double-checking my outlets and lights. As usual, Absolute Electric was absolutely worth the price!

Most kind, professional team we have ever worked with. Great service from initial consultation call through technician work. Everyone was eager to answer questions and felt prioritized the entire time. Highly recommend!

Absolute is a five-star rated company by the Fairfax County directory, and I can see why. Nick E from Absolute just helped us solve a problem in our home. He was absolutely the best electrician we have used. Nick was professional, personable, patient with our questions and highly competent. We will ask for him by name in the future. Thank you, Absolute (and Nick).

I really appreciate the work Pyrce, the technician from Absolute did on my home. I had some outdated outlets and smoke detectors that needed to be replaced, but he also found other issues in the safety evaluation. I have a 45 year old home, and much of the electric is outdated and not up to code. He was great at explaining things to me, honest about which issues needed to be addressed immediately, and worked very efficiently. I still have more work that needs to be addressed, and I would definitely have Pyrce back to work on my home again.
