Sunrise installed a retaining wall and enhanced our backyard drainage system and we couldn't be more pleased. Their crew was extremely professional and detail oriented and their pricing was reasonable. It was clear they cared and it showed in the final product. I would not hesitate to recommend and use them again.

Alex, Pablo, and the crew did a fantastic job building a 20’ x 40’ patio for our walkout basement and under our deck. They were very knowledgeable in construction, including preparing a solid base, making the appropriate slope, using quality materials, and completing it with finished grading and sod. I didn’t have to bug them about not using short pavers on the edges (thanks Pablo). Alex worked with us to make sure the design made sense for us and the finished product looks great. It was very easy working with Sunrise, their contract terms and conditions were good, prices fair, and quality way above average. Our materials arrived within days of our deposit. Work started right-away after that. My wife and I have worked with a lot of contractors over the past 25 years (all licensed and background checked) and this was by far the best experience we have had.

Sunrise designed and installed a large garden bed in the backyard, a mixed border of privacy plants along the side of the yard, as well as a pathway and lighting. Jesse, the landscape designer, was very knowledgeable and responsive. The landscapers were professional and took care not to harm surrounding trees with the installation. It’s been about three months and all the plants are thriving. I highly recommend Sunrise!

We have used Sunrise Landscape and design for more than 25 years. We have two acres which we wanted to turn into something we would be proud of and that we and our neighbors could enjoy. That started more than 25 years ago and we, with their advice and help, have been successful. We have added hard scape, plantings, trees. We have had to remove some tree. They mow, fertilize, mulch, trim, weed monthly, etc. We could not be more pleased with their service, professionalism, responsiveness.

Sunrise conducted a full Fall Cleanup for my property, which included leaf and weed removal, mulching, tree and hedge trimming, lawn aeration and seeding. 3 employees worked tirelessly all day and my yard looked amazing when they were done. They saved me what would have been days of work if I had done it myself.

Sunrise was extremely responsive after requesting a quote. After agreeing to start the project they were timely in scheduling and punctual in all phases of the drainage and landscaping project. Even while on site they went above and beyond from using shovels instead of heavy machinery to adding extra landscaping touches. I highly recommend Sunrise.

Sunrise did an AMAZING job from start to finish installing a slate walkway at our home. The final result is BEAUTIFUL and we couldn't be more pleased! Joe was a pleasure to work with and was super communicative and kind throughout the entire process. The guys that worked on the walkway were so talented and the most hardworking! We receive SO many compliments on the walkway! Cannot recommend Sunrise enough!!!

Got New Patio for lower level of my townhome a couple months ago. Previously had drainage problems, issues with rotten wood/railroad ties and shifting uneven stones. Sunrise came out and went the extra mile with drainage and used a combination of stone and pavers that came out looking great. Would use Sunrise Landscape and Design again in a heartbeat.

We worked with Joe/Sunrise Landscape on two related projects at our home. First, they did a manufactured stone patio under our upper deck. Months later they did steps in the same material down a steep slope on the side of our house. Their work is excellent, their service is timely and clear--offered with the best attitude. The workers are craftsmen. They are well trained and have a fabulous work ethic. Lots of "wannabe" custom contractors out there. Sunrise is the real deal. We'll be using them again.

Alex was wonderful to work with throughout the design phase, answering my questions and making modifications as we worked through to the final layout. Scheduling and Install went very well. It was super hot for the days of our project, but the guys worked hard to get the job done. We provided a shady spot and a cooler full of cold, bottled water for the crew and they amazed me with their work ethic, in spite of the heat. We were so impressed with how quickly they were able to get everything done, and how wonderful the yard looked when all was finished. Highly recommend Sunrise Landscape and Design. We'll definitely use them again.

Edited to add a review of our second project. We wanted our fire pit area to mimic the one at the Dogfish Inn in Lewes, DE. We had all of the components, except for the metal edged stone dust area upon which our cowboy cauldron would sit. I sent pictures of what I wanted to Alex, and again she delivered. The crew got our fire pit area done one day! It's perfect, we love it, and we use it often. If we can't escape to our favorite beach vacation destination, we can at least enjoy the amenities right in our own backyard.

We had them turn part of our lawn into a perennial garden. Linda took my list of native plants and incorporated all of them into the plan, giving us a pollinator garden with year-round blooming. The team that did the work did it quickly and thoroughly, taking care of the existing irrigation system and some last minute changes in the plant placement. Highly recommend this company for any landscaping work you might need.

Sunrise installed a paver walkway, a small retaining wall, and natural stones on our front door stoop. We love the quality and beauty of their work. Brandon (the Production Crew Chief), Dimas and Raymundo (the workers who were there every day), and all the other workers who assisted as needed, were all outstanding, friendly, very accommodating, and very professional. They were on-time and cleaned up every day. We were extremely impressed at their attention to detail and the care they took with our project. Even though the project took longer than expected, they never rushed and took the time and care to get it right. Linda, their Landscape Designer, worked closely with us and provided some great ideas for the design and materials; we love the natural stone she recommended and everything looks wonderful. Their high quality work has added beauty to our home and we love looking at it every day.

We decided to contract with Sunrise Landscape + Design after witnessing their exceptional work at several of our neighbors’ homes. Our goal was to renovate our concrete sidewalk, update our concrete stoop, and add a small patio and fire pit to our backyard. We also wanted to enhance the landscaping in both areas. Linda provided us with valuable guidance and detailed plans, helping us visualize the final outcome. Brandon and his team worked diligently and delivered a beautiful and meticulous job. We hired Sunrise to build a stone staircase and fire pit area in our backyard. Mike was very helpful throughout the process and Brandon was a very attentive project coordinator.

We received multiple bids on this project and the reason why we went with Sunrise was they offer a great yearly maintenance plans to keep our yard looking great all year round. Tyler and his snow removal company have done an outstanding job at The PeachTree. Every time we’ve had snow, they’ve been prompt, professional, and extremely thorough. The sidewalks, parking areas, and entrances are always cleared quickly and safely, which makes a huge difference for residents and visitors. You can tell Tyler takes pride in his work — he pays attention to detail and makes sure everything is done right the first time. Reliable service, great communication, and consistent results. We had Avalon come out and do our spring clean up. They trimmed trees and planted a bunch of new plants for us also. They were friendly, on time and did the work perfectly. Highly recommend!

The team did a great job in a cleanup that has been vexing us for years. And the personal attention was fantastic… The owner even came and helped with yard cleanup and restoration. We will definitely use the team again for a couple of more yard fixes.
