Constraction reviews in Suffolk, Virginia

Best people to work with

Best utility contractor in tidewater

They treat the employees right.

Awesome people who can be counted on to do things properly!

Great company

Terrible company. They start a job and then stand around all day getting nothing accomplished. And then they don't show up to work for a week leaving the road blocked. This company sucks don't use them

Negligent in removing rocks and debris from their trucks and causing damage to cars on the interstate. Thanks for making me incur costs to repair the damage your company caused. Avoid this company at all costs.

Great company! I hit a pothole on a street that they are working on and it blew my tire. I had the tire replaced and filed a property damage claim with the city. The city passed it off to Tidewater Utility Construction, Inc. Christina, HR, was super helpful and responsive right away. After TUCI received the claim, I was reimbursed within a week. I was really relieved 😅

These guys have been doing construction near HU for over a month. The flaggers are poorly trained and the company has little regard for the safety of drivers. Due to the construction there is only one route in and out of the campus yet the continually block lanes with their equipment and fail to post signs or flaggers. I have seen several near head on collisions because of this. RIDICULOUS!!!!

If u want some Jerry’s kids to come mess your roads up worst then they are this is the crew. All u have to do is driver down centerville turnpike and see the jack leg work they do by your fillings vibrating out of your head from all the dips and holes. Seriously I think Jerry’s kids would have done a better job.

If these people drive like they work, do not do business with them. A few minutes ago, their driver was so close to my bumper and the car next to me, I thought they were going to hit us! Rushing, inconsideration and disregading personal safety are not what you want in a company!!!

I wouldn't normally make a review based off this, but the laziness and ineptitude of their employees nearly cost someone dearly this morning. I saw a rake fly off a truck this morning narrowly missing a passenger vehicle behind it. Not only was the useless driver traveling in the passing lane, not only did the inept fool not ensure a secure loard, but the utterly useless was playing on its phone behind the wheel. Such a large stack of clear competence and character flaws stacked on each other in such a small window is a clear indication that employee is a direct reflection of the owners, management and quality of work/service the organization provides. They can't even get the bare minimum safety correct.

Came looking to contact someone about a reckless driver in their vehicle tailgating, swerving, and nearly clipping my vehicle with my family in it. Looks like it's not the first time, won't be the last. Watch out for The white chevy UC32-808, dude drives like he's drunk at 2pm on a workday, texting on his phone while trash flies out of his flatbed.

Do better.

I’ve worked with this company on multiple projects, and they always deliver top-quality work. Their team is professional, reliable, and detail-oriented, making every job seamless from start to finish.

I have hired them several times. They have done such a wonderful job painting and completed the job with precision! Quality work!

I would look somewhere else if you are trying to get an estimate from this company. Tried messaging them on numerous occasions for an estimate. Each time they responded either with an automatic response or with an empty promise of getting me a quote.
Never Received an Estimate, Poor Communication and All Bad Experience. I Do Not Recommend!!

MSM is a family owned company that does high quality work again and again! From kitchens to bathrooms to garages and attics and everything in between, this company can do it all! They will treat you with respect and get the job done!

I can honestly say I've never seen work done with such high quality standards as I have with this company. They're always very polite, courteous, and extremely professional. I highly recommend MS&M for any of your construction needs.

I hired Mike and for several jobs getting my mom's house ready for sale. He’s consitently been there when I needed him, provided very high quality service and results, and was very fair with his pricing. You can’t ask for more from your contractor.

I've use this company numerous times for remodeling my home. Best I've ever worked with. Dependable, fair pricing, trustworthy, and top quality work. Friendly family business. I will call no one else for my construction or painting needs.

Great job from start to finish on our gazebo! Excellent customer service! Very detail oriented. So happy we found y’all!
