Very disappointed in the service I received. Was told over the phone that when he leaves our fireplace would be working! NOT!! Moreover, after calling back to follow up as I did not receive a call, wanted to charge me additional $283.00 in order to have a part shipped. Worst $195.00 I ever spent. Please do your due diligence before using this service for gas fireplace repair.

Called Fitch Specialties to hook up tank to fireplace and get a general inspection done. From the numerous calls to their front desk, Ms. Samantha was beyond helpful and courteous and the technician was on time and extremely competent! I would definitely recommend this company!

I've tried to contact them to schedule annual maintenance. I left a message last week, but no response. I called them again and left a message this week. They called back but I missed the call, so I called them back, but I got the answering machine. I guess I'm not meant to use their business. After all, it's just for annual maintenance, not a big new contract.

Now I have found a different company who I can communicate and they are going to take care of my water heater.

Tim came out to provide a quote after my water heater finally died. Not only was he able to get me on the schedule quickly, he was prompt, courteous, and thorough. He helped me through some issues with my home warranty, which allowed me to secure the maximum reimbursement. Overall, very happy!

Tim Fitch did great work for me in April 2022. He removed an older, in-wall gas fireplace, then for my two remaining fireplaces, he re-piped the on/off gas valve to look more modern. For my hot water heater, he installed a circulating pump, so now the master bath has on-demand hot water. He also inspected 2 fireplaces at my previous residence and prepared a detailed estimate for the repair. I highly recommend Fitch Specialties!

Great company to work with. This is the second time I have dealt with Fitch Specialties and both experiences were great. This time was a bit of an emergency since our water heater went out. Tim came out the very next day and installed a new tankless water heater. Service was fast, communication was great and the price was reasonable. He is an expert in his field for sure. I just had a Rinnai tankless water heater installed by Fitch Specialties. Tim and Mike did a very professional installation. My experience with Tim and his staff from scheduling the quote visit to the scheduling of the final installation, were friendly and professional. Tim is the owner and he cares about his customers and it is clear he cares about doing things right! He explained the operation of the unit and made sure i received the owners manual. Also provided info about a $100 rebate from Rinnai. He also mentioned the unit is eligible for a Federal Tax credit of up to $600. The work area was cleaned and all packing materials were removed. They also removed the old standard water heater and cleaned that space. The tankless unit was installed in a different area from the original WH. HIs quote was substantially less than 2 other quotes i received. I will be dealing with Tim from now on and I highly recommend his services!!! Thanks guys for a job well done!

It's a game changer and can be significantly more efficient (depending on your exact setup and use type) than traditional tank heaters that have to constantly keep a large volume of water hot at all times, even when you're not using it.
