Wayne and Matt from Hampton Roads Contracting Services were amazing to work with! They recently helped us upgrade our bathroom, and the experience was exceptional.

Wayne communicated with us daily, keeping us informed about each step in the process. No matter the time of day—or night—he was always willing to answer any questions we had. He went above and beyond to help bring my vision to life, including customizing elements to fit our needs.

When we ran into an issue receiving our shower door (through no fault of Wayne’s—Lowes failed us), he was patient, understanding, and even suggested alternative companies to purchase the door. He then installed it the very next day it arrived.

I would absolutely recommend Wayne and his crew for any future projects!

Wayne and his crew (Matt and Chris) Installed Kitchen Cabinets, Island cabinets, Cupboard Cabinets, Master and Guest Bathroom Cabinets. Their professionalism and attention to detail was wonderful. Matt and his crew just completed installing our new kitchen cabinets today. I greatly appreciate their attention to detail all the way through the project and their high quality work. They took the time to do “the little things” that make the difference between a job done and a job done right. Highly recommend

We contracted with them to make the final connection for sinks and faucets after countertops were replaced throughout our home. They did not come prepared with towels to keep the work area clean and they did not clean up afterwards thus leaving the workspace dirty.

We noticed that the ice maker in the kitchen which stopped working immediately after they finished their work so we had to arrange for a follow up visit.
They discovered that there was nothing wrong with their connections and still charged us $65 for a travel fee. I requested that they waive the fee in light of them following up on previous work.

After I told them that I was unhappy with their service and would be writing an unfavorable review, I was told that the fee would be waived if I wrote a favorable review on the spot and showed it to the technician for confirmation. I obviously declined.

I called this morning regarding my leaking kitchen facuet. An hour later Jason was at my front door. He was so friendly. He was finished less than an hour and the price was VERY reasonable. I will call if if I ever have any plumbing issues or installing projects. Best service ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a great family owned business in Suffolk that I not only use for the office but for my own home. They are trustworthy and I have never been let down. Would definitely use them again for any plumbing needs.

I have used Lanthorn plumbing on multiple occasions to install a dishwasher, garbage disposal and replace a water heater. They are timely, affordable and do quality work. I highly recommend them.

I'm sure this is a fine company when it comes to the quality of their work but there is a huge disconnect in communication. First I was told there would be an $85.00 fee to come out. I had never paid for an estimate but this company was recommended by someone I trust as far as mechanical abilities. I called back a day later and talked to a different person and there was no mention of the fee. I scheduled for a plumber to come inspect a significant concern. The plumber was professional, took two photos and one video and charged us $125.00. It turned out to be a significant concern and needed attention immediately. I called numerous times for an estimate for repairs but never got a response or an estimate. It has been over a week and still no estimate. I wasted $125.00 and Lanthorn Plumbing missed out on what turned out to be a total bathroom remodel. Use this company with caution.

Lanthorn has done a ton of work for us including ADA complaint bathroom, community bathrooms, grinder pump station replacement, gas conversion for water heater, other underground piping, and more. They are highly versatile and skilled and very responsive when you need them.

Lanthorn Plumbing took on the job of completely replumbing our 100 year old commercial building! They did a fantastic job and have remained very responsive and go above and beyond when we have run into clogs/etc. and needed ongoing help! They've responded immediately on several occassions in order to keep our business operative during plumbing issues! We would HIGHLY recommend!

Joe and Zach came to fix what turned out to be a complicated leak. They did a great job, stayed later than everyone expected, and made sure that it was right. I would recommend them and I would use them again.

Paul and his assistant was super professional and helped in explaining every detail they performed which placed me at ease. Replacing electronical switches that where wired poorly from the builders 26yrs ago and redid outside lamps to work properly. Was quick and thoroughly impressed by there job.

Lanthorn Plumbing came to the rescue to fix a leak in my home today. They were nothing but professional, helpful, and answered any and all questions I had. They also solved the problem quickly and efficiently. I would recommend them over and over again.

My call for installation of a new toilet was placed on a Monday and the service call was made for the following day. Ronald and Logan arrived as scheduled and were courteous and respectful. From arrival to completion, the installation of the new toilet I purchased from VAMAC took less than 60 minutes. The water from the tank and bowl had already been removed by me in preparation of the job. They had sufficient parts on hand to cover what was not in the Toto box. They ensured the tank was properly secured to the bowl, that the water level in the tank was at optimum level and there were no leaks after several flushes. They cleaned up after themselves so you wouldn't know they had ever been there. I am very pleased with their work and will use this company again.

As a general contractor looking to expand into Suffolk VA, finding a plumbing contractor that serviced the area, did new construction projects, and was very knowledgeable, accommodating with scheduled appointments and easy to talk to as well as able to effectively communicate with myself and the client, was very vital to the process. Mr. Lanthorn himself was ready with anything I could throw at him either on site or in email. I couldn't ask for anything else for my business and our clients.

My service rep Paul, was beyond fantastic. He was kind, efficient, knowledgeable, man of his word, always smiling, professional work , and just comfortable that he was going to et things done.
