While digging a trench to connect the well to my house, the electric lines to the garage were cut by the trencher. The water pipe was under the wires, so it seems that they just ignored the cut wires and filled in the trench. We are out 750 dollars for the electrical work, but I was told they could do nothing about it because We don't know who's been digging on your property. " I offered pictures and invoices but they refused to offer any compensation.

The operator is purposefully ignoring our calls and cancelled our appointment!

Be careful of using Lanthorn Plumbing. We used their service twice, and the second time we used them (12/27/21) they had overcharged us, and left the job unfinished, and refused to answer any of our calls.

The customer service over the phone was the worst part of this whole experience.

-Overcharge - In the past the Mechanic had only charged us 85$ for the initial diagnostic and the cost of the parts. This time, we were charged 150$ just to get the mechanic to come and an additional 150$ for a part that only cost 50$, with a total of 300$ just to fix a small leak from the shower facet. We have the Basic model so to "Fix shower cartridge" shouldn't cost much, you can google the prices and can easily see that we were over charged.

-Did not repair properly - The mechanic replaced the Cartridge but did not install it correctly, we no longer have any leak, but it now only shoots out hot water.

-Bad customer service - Honestly, this whole issue could have been a non-issue had the customer service been respectful! The person who answered our call initially scheduled our follow up repair for 10am and when we called around 12:00 to see what the holdup was, she hung up the phone and cancelled our appointment. They had refused to answer any of our calls, and when we were able to get hold of someone (by using a different phone) they would hang up and cease to answer that number as well.

As it stands, we are 300$ in hole, with a broken shower, and an entire day ruined by rude customer service.

This company was very helpful and accommodating. Professional on-time service to replace two toilets. No doibt Lanthorn is the company I would call for future plumbing needs.

Fast and accurate service. Another local plumber diagnosed my problem and said the wall would need to be removed to replace some piping because we were not getting hot water in our tub. These guys fixed the problem in 20 minutes! The office staff is friendly and pleasant to speak with unlike the other company, where I had to keep calling after they failed to return my calls, as promised.

I have used Lanthorn Plumbing for years, Hot water Heaters, Irrigation systems and many other household items. They deliver what they promise, when they promise. I also had a family member that needed emergency service and they worked him into the schedule on short notice.

Came home to a gas water heater which blew its stack. Sought someone to assist with replacing. Paul Lanthorn and his Lanthorn Plumbing team came out promptly and took good care of our place. They are well worth considering for your plumbing needs.

We just had our water heater fixed by Jason a senior technician at Lanthorn. He was great, very knowledgeable and professional he diagnosed our problem and fixed it very fast. awesome service. I highly recommend this company.

Paul & crew always do a great job for us! I bought a country place that needs some TLC and remodeling so they put in some new faucets back in November, checked a 20 yr old dishwasher that was never used... and works great (its an impressive antique and great family conversation piece). Had some leaky/running outside faucets and our shower was pouring too. The handles are literally so old that we were gonna have to replace the parts with an RV work around, lol. Was out of town when a hot water heater, which also produces the heating, went on the fritz at our rental property. Our Home Warranty Company wasn't able to get a plumber dispatched in a timely manner, and with a tenant without hot water AND heat, we just couldn't wait. We called Lanthorn and they were out the very same day, identified the issues, were able to find the rare part and complete the installation the very next day.

Their communication throughout the process was timely, top-notch service, even texting to let us know when they were on the way. Their rates were more than reasonable, and their staff, from the Office Manager to the Technician on-site, were super professional.

All around great experience and will definitely use again and refer with confidence!

Logan was really thorough today getting our faucets working again, & advised us on the condition & remaining service life of our well. Now we’re back running again & can plan ahead for a new deeper well. He also took a couple minutes to troubleshoot a refrigerator leak (bad freezer door seal). This is the 3rd time we’ve had Lanthorn out for various issues & they have been excellent each time. Thanks!

Was able to schedule a same day appointment for a burst pipe, the technicians fixed it on the spot even if the pipe was in a hard to reach place in the crawlspace. Excellent service and timeliness.

Dawn was quick responsive and helpful is getting me a quote, which was much more inexpensive than the 6 other local competitors that quoted me 200-400% more. Paul and Kevin showed up and were quick, professional, and very helpful as there were issues that came up during the installation due to cracked valves from the previous unit.

These guys were great! I wanted to switch out some faucets including an oddball on my tub with a sprayer. They even went to go get a specialty part to install it. They checked a 20 yr old dishwasher to make sure everything was in good working order and worked on a toilet installation part that I just didn't want to fool with. I highly recommend and will be using them to install a new bathroom vanity in the future! Thank you guys!

The leak is completely fixed, and they stayed to ensure everything was working properly before leaving.

Had a clog and sewage smell coming from the laundry room area so I called them to come and take care of it.They looked around the property for about 45 minutes and said that they couldn't find the clean out so they took the toilet up and said that they would do the hydro jet service to fix the problem.Without running the camera to see where the clog actually was, they said that they cleared the clog with the jets all the way to the street and that it was all fixed. Paid them almost $500.00 and they left.The next morning I got up and went in to the laundry room and the sewage smell was 10 times worse than before! The problem was still there.I called a friend that works for the City of Suffolk water department to come run the camera for me.He found the clog immediately and fixed it for nothing for me. Thank God for friends in high places.He said that they basically took my money and had not fixed the problem. Would never use them again or recommend them. They could have at least offered to give me half of the money back since they did absolutely nothing that I had asked them to do. I should have called my friend to start with but I know how busy the City keeps him.Oh well, lesson learned.

Lanthorn plumbing came to our house in Suffolk to change out our downstairs toilet. They did an excellent job. The team was headed up by Joe. Him and his helper did a great job. We will definitely use Lanthorn Plumbing again.
