Constraction reviews in Vienna, Virginia

We worked with George and his team at Panorama to transform our basement and were so impressed--we completely recommend them! George and his team transformed our largely unfinished basement into a beautiful space with a family room, bedroom, bathroom, and laundry room, and the finished project is bright, clean, modern, and so functional!

George is fantastic! He is easy to communicate with and very responsive by email/text/phone, and he was on site every day during our project to make sure everything was running smoothly. He was also very thoughtful in his design and recommendations and helped us make some decisions based on his expertise. There were certain things that we did not even think to specify initially, but by the time we mentioned it, George had already thought of it and done it!

George's team is incredibly hard-working! They showed up first thing in the morning and worked through the end of the day, and they came every day Monday-Saturday. Because George prioritizes one project at a time, they were very focused and highly motivated to get our job done--so much so that they finished a week ahead of schedule! We even added a few (pretty significant) things mid-project, and they still finished early! George is very committed to quality though, so even though he was motivated to keep everyone on schedule, he still made sure people came out a few extra times to address some last minute things.

We are very pleased with the work that they did and highly recommend working with George and Panorama!

George and the team at Panorama helped us with a wide range of projects: a kitchen overhaul, two bathrooms, a powder room, changing a laundry room into a wet bar, and converting a garage into a home gym.

We were new to remodeling and thankful to be able to trust George’s judgment and good taste throughout the process. He and the entire crew took ownership and pride in their work. George, in particular, acted as a thought partner as we worked through different design elements. He was (very) patient as we iterated through different ideas and concerns and always very responsive, if not even proactive in anticipating our needs.

His team was fantastic and professional through the pandemic. Each team member brought unique and refined skills to the project. And at the end of each day, the team took time to clean up and sweep out, understanding that we were working from home. They were always considerate of our pets and children, who were living through the construction.

One of the things we appreciated most was their patience with a number of our idiosyncratic asks. We know these added time and work for the team. But at no point did they push back, and instead made sure that we got the home, down to the nitty details, that we wanted.

Over our time with them, we grew to have a lot of affection, admiration, and appreciation for this team. If we ever have future needs, Panorama will be our first call.

You will not be disappointed using George and his team. Their work is incredible! We have split level home and they gutted our first floor- taking down walls, moving our bathroom and giving us new beautiful kitchen. The crew worked incredibly hard and got the work done faster than anticipated and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out!

George and his crew at Panorama Remodeling were amazing to work with from start to finish! We had a largely unfinished basement that we wanted to transform into a general living area and add a new bathroom. Our old 1940s home has many quirks that can make it tough to meet residential building codes, but George made the permitting process as stress-free as possible.

Before the project started, we vetted multiple contractors. We went with Panorama not only because they were competitively priced, but because George was clearly knowledgeable during our site consultation and extremely communicative, and that gave us the reassurance that he was the right person for the job.

During the project, George and his crew were on time, respectful, and skilled in their craftsmanship. The project was completed in under 3 weeks, which was ahead of schedule. George was consistently on site and checked in with us about any project updates or decisions. He went above and beyond, adding finishing touches that pulled the space together even better than what we could have imagined. We are so happy with the finished results, and look forward to enjoying our new space for many years to come.

The bottom line is that we would recommend Panorama Remodeling in a heartbeat to anyone looking to renovate their home. George will be the first person that we call for any future home improvement projects!

George and Panorama Remodeling are the best. We recently had George and his team to remodel the master bathroom shower, and could not be happier with the result.

George is very responsive, trustworthy, and knowledgeable. He provided very valuable recommendations. The project was started and finished on time. Throughout the process, George constantly kept me informed of the status.

With the high quality of work and materials, their price is very competitive. Also, unlike other contractors denying the necessity of pulling a permit, George went ahead to pull the permit without extra charge.

We will definitely work with George and Panorama Remodeling again for future projects.

George and his crew are fantastic to work with! I’ve known George for over 10 years, and during that time we’ve collaborated on dozens of projects. His professionalism, reliability, and positive attitude always make the process seamless. It’s always a pleasure working with him and his team!

This review is far overdue, in large part, due to the fact that there are few words that convey how incredible George is. And, in small part, to avoid the word getting out of Panorama Remodeling, because we need another bathroom remodeled soon! Panorama is the ultimate contracting team: timely, communicative, detail-oriented, competitively priced, professional, respectful of COVID protocols, and talented. They have immense knowledge about design and how to add value to your home. They transformed our 1950s guest bathroom, bedroom, laundry room, and entryway. The guys worked tirelessly, and the integrity of their work is obvious. At this point, we would let George watch our first born baby, or do our taxes. Just do yourself a favor and call Panorama!

Absolutely OUTSTANDING! George and his team managed a major remodel of our basement - adding a shower, renovating the bathroom, adding a closet, and adding a kitchenette - from concept design through completion. Panorama Remodeling's expertise produced a beautiful, high-quality product (glass shower, lovely tile work, granite counters, etc). Their workmanship easily passed the county's inspections each step of the way. George really cares about wonderful customer service, and also advised ways to potentially reduce costs throughout the project. I could not be happier. Panorama earned my highest recommendation. I will absolutely call them again for all future projects.

THANK YOU George & Panorama Remodeling for making our new addition a reality! So save time and stop looking, call George NOW.

My husband and I love our 1938 Cape Cod and have wanted for a very long time to build a 1st floor Master bedroom, bath and enlarge our very small family room. Our dream finally became a reality when we met George, Project Manager of Panorama Remodeling. The first thing he said to us was, “I wanted to earn your respect so you’ll allow me to build your addition.” After that statement, he had our attention, so off we went. We’d been working on a design and knew what we wanted. After sharing our plan, George quickly responded with a very reasonable quote, some suggestions and a great timeline. In our discussions, we especially liked the fact that he only builds 1-2 additions at a time. He does this intentionally so he can focus his attention on the larger construction projects, while still managing all his remodeling jobs. Panorama Remodeling is licensed in VA, DC & MD.

Fast forward two months after ground breaking, tearing down a cinder block wall to enlarge the family room, we were so excited to be moving into our new addition. George was extremely responsive to all of our questions, lists and concerns. He even anticipated things we hadn’t considered and took immediate action to solve any problems that arose. Each morning, George or his assistant was on site to supervise the day’s work. All of George’s crew and subcontractors love working for him. They work very hard and do great work because he treats them equally, fairly and with respect.

George made the entire building process enjoyable and as “stressless” as possible. He said it was his job to handle the stress not ours. He took very good care of us and wanted everything to be right. We pinch ourselves and say, “We finally did it after all these years.” The days are quieter now and we miss seeing George on a daily basis. But the good news is we’re now part of George’s family and know he’ll always be there for us because he loves what he does!

So don’t hesitate to call Panorama Remodeling for any home improvement project you want big or small. There are many contractors in the metro area but excellent customer service and quality work are rare to find. Trust us we know!

Panorama Remodeling was the right company to remodel our basement bathroom. George and his crew did everything from the demo to tiling, electric, plumbing, painting and cleaning up after the job was complete. No sub-contracting, no waiting. On time every day. George coordinated ordering all the supplies, fixtures and helped us make the better, and not necessarily more expensive, choices for our project. We have never had such a positive experience with a contractor as we had with George and Panorama. We can't recommend Panorama highly enough.

We chose Panorama Remodeling to undertake the renovation of our kitchen and two and a half bathrooms. George and his team executed the project beautifully. All the materials required for completion were readily available when the work commenced. The renovation team consistently arrived early each day, worked diligently on the assigned tasks and ensured a thorough clean-up before departing each evening. George was always accessible to address questions and offer solutions to any problems that emerged during the renovation. We highly recommend Panorama; we will certainly engage them for any future projects. This is definitely a 5-star company!

Panorama Remodeling recently did a phenomenal job redesigning our two bathrooms. From our very first consultation, George proved himself to be meticulous, thoughtful, and a great communicator; once construction got underway, he and his crew arrived promptly every day and were friendly, professional, and entirely committed to the day's work. It was a delight -- and a relief! -- to trust our house to a team of such highly skilled, competent craftsmen, and we couldn't be happier with the results. We enthusiastically recommend them!

We enthusiastically recommend Panorama Remodeling to anyone in the northern Virginia area needing repairs or remodeling to their home. In mid-June several trees fell on our house, deck, pond, shed and chimney causing severe damage. Within hours George from Panorama had his roofing people on the roof removing a shattered skylight and tree debris and placing tarps. For the next six weeks Panorama restored everything with very high standards. The entire time we often felt reassured that Panorama would “take care of it.” The people Panorama uses (asbestos removal, roofing, siding, chimney repair, drywall, painting, deck-building) are long time partners and do excellent work. George and his workers are reliable and punctual. If something is brought to their attention that we didn’t like they quickly honored our concerns. On Panorama we have found an honest, concerned contractor with whom to do business. We are very grateful!

George and his team at Panorama truly are second to none. Our positive experience started before day 1 when George worked through the proposal with us. He was direct, clear and offered us a no-nonsense proposal including helping us see some alternative layouts we hand't considered possible. Once started the crew was meticulous and courteous starting with demo; I've never seen such attention to cleanliness where the crew literally left the site as clean as before demo. Throughout the project they were punctual, on time and never tried to upsell us. George personally showed up every day to make sure the team knew what to do and that we were happy. Overall, we complete the project on time as George promised. I'd absolutely use them again and recommend them highly to anyone doing a remodel of this nature.

Best decision ever. Panorama did such a great job with our first project, we hired them right away for a second. I'm pretty handy and typically skeptical about hiring others to do renovations, but George and his team exceeded our expectations. They were professional, courteous, and great at what they do. When they encountered some issues, they never stopped until they got it right. If you shop around, you'll also find that George prices are very competitive. You really can't go wrong when going with George. Thank you George and your team for a marvelous job! We can enjoy our updated home for years and years to come.

Panorama recently completed a basement remodel at our home — which included a bathroom remodel and egress window. George and his team were incredibly responsive. They consistently answered our questions/requests almost immediately, and often anticipated them. The work far exceeded our expectations for what our basement could ever look like. We would hire Panorama again in a second.

If you are planning any remodeling work, call George at Panorama Remodeling first, and then compare other contractors against them, if needed. You will not be disappointed in your first call. In my experience with Panorama, there was no comparison.

I had a water leak in my upstairs bathroom and decided to install a walk in shower and remodel the bathroom. Selecting George and Panorama Remodeling was absolutely the best decision. Not only did they provide a beautiful new bathroom, they repaired the drywall and painted the damaged downstairs area and were available to take care of a separate HVAC issue.

The entire process was seamless without any issues. They are prompt, responsive and provide quality work. The customer service is unparalled and there was no "nickel and dime" for the work that needed to be performed. George is always available to discuss the project and always kept me informed of the status. Randy and the crew (I wish I knew all their names) were courteous, prompt, and kept my home clean and in order.

Although I expected the project to be a headache, George and Panorama Remodeling made it effortless on my part and I would highly recommend them. They will be my go-to for my kitchen and main level project.

We were extremely satisfied with Panorama Remodeling. George and his team were extremely responsive (typically got back to us within a couple hours), professional (on time with accurate estimates), and did excellent work. We are very happy with the full bathroom remodel, new flooring, and painting/carpeting work that we had done. George helped us get the most out of our small upstairs bathroom. We highly recommend Panorama for any home renovation project.

This is our third project with Panorama and George—and every time they have amazed us with the quality, speed, and thoroughness of their work. The pictures of the patio/porch below speak for themselves (see the last one for a before and after). But beyond the pictures, the difference can be seen in the extra steps George and his team take. For example, the project involved adding an outlet on an external wall. When doing the electrical work for the new outlet, the team also identified and replaced the out-of-date light switch on the internal wall. We are so happy with our new patio/porch, and cannot wait to use it this summer!

We have used a number of contractors over the years and George was by far the best experience we have ever had. We recommend him highly. We used George to remodel our guest bathroom as well as to fix a leaky shower in the master bedroom that was dripping down into the ceiling below. George is everything that you would want in a contractor. From the standpoint of project management, he is very responsive, is open and honest about your options (both in terms of cost and the pros and cons of each choice you can make), and gets the work done in a timely manner. In addition, the quality and craftsmanship of the work that his team performs is also first-rate. All in all, George is committed to making sure your project is done right in all respects.

George and his team are the best remodeling crew. We've hired the team 3 times, 2 years apart.

First time we hired them was in 2021 when we bought the house for all kinds of updates including kitchen backsplash, full painting, a lot of electric work, etc., second time was fixing a plumbing leak and third was the full basement remodel, which we just concluded.

Every time we get other quotes, we end up going with Panorama because we trust George & because of how high quality/ competitively priced they are.

They take serious pride in their work, use the best quality materials, show up on time every day and are very competitively priced. They do things by the book (permit pulls and all that) and will always start and end projects when they say they will.

A huge bonus: All 3 times, they went above and beyond what was on the contract. The whole team is polite and seem to really like each other, they clean up every day and after every project, and they don't recommend doing anything extra than what's necessary/ will add value.

Super happy with Panorama and highly recommend them.
