Team 3 did a great job my initial deep cleaning of my entire house, and today with a simple weekly cleaning, everything looks and smells great. Nothing better than a clean house. Merry Maids and team 3 is everything I hoped for.

As an employee of a construction company, I can confidently say that Merry Maids of Vienna, Virginia, provides exceptional cleaning services for our office. Roxanna and Maria, in particular, do a fantastic job. Their attention to detail and dedication to maintaining a spotless environment is truly commendable.

What sets them apart is their friendly demeanor and positive attitude. It’s always a pleasure to see them with a smile on their faces, brightening up our workspace. Their professionalism and reliability make them an invaluable part of our team.

Carrie was amazing. She did an excellent job and highly would recommend.

Good for a normal cleaning, but not fantastic. At these exorbitant prices for the extra cleaning I paid for (the house hadn’t been cleaned in about four months), I expected better and do not plan to use Merry Maids again.

- Some baseboard sections are still dirty.
- Rear edge of window blinds still have a strip of dust.
- Power cable to Apple TV box was unplugged.

I hired Merry Maids Vienna for a deep cleaning service and paid $1,120 for 7 hours of work ($160/hour). For that kind of pricing, I expected a professional, thorough clean—not what I received.

Despite the high cost, basic things were missed throughout the home:

Cobwebs in the bathrooms remained
Dining table rug wasn't vacuumed
Under rugs weren’t touched
One entire room—our home office—was completely left untouched (no dusting, no vacuuming)
Wood dining bench not cleaned
Cabinet doors and cabinet base untouched

I even extended the appointment by 2 extra hours so they’d have time to clean just a couple of cabinet drawers, which I had specifically requested. They never cleaned them.

I personally inspected their work after they finished the top floor and was shocked at what I found:

Visible hair in the shower, closets, and bathrooms
Light switch panels still dirty
Bathroom tiles still had mold
Window sills untouched
Toilet seats stained

To their credit, someone did come up to check, and they cleaned a few areas I pointed out—but it was clear there was no consistent checklist or system in place to ensure the job was done properly and in a timely manner.

After 7 hours, they rushed out, leaving the main kitchen and living areas incomplete. It honestly felt like I had to supervise the work to get anything remotely close to a deep cleaning service anyone would expect.

For this price, I expected premium service—not an incomplete job I had to manage myself. I’d really appreciate someone from the company reaching out to address this. I’m hoping for a partial refund or some sort of resolution, because this was absolutely not worth the price.

Response to Owner: Thanks for your response, but I have to push back on this. I was very clear from the very beginning about the size of my home and that I was requesting a deep cleaning — not a standard service. Your team estimated 4–5 hours, and I extended it to 7 hours to ensure there was enough time. If more time or multiple visits were truly required, that should have been communicated upfront — not after. I had to follow up myself to point out missed areas. That’s not how professional services should operate.

If your service guarantees quality, it should not fall on the customer to supervise the process. I’m still hoping someone from your team will reach out to offer a fair resolution — At this price point, I don’t think that’s an unreasonable request.

This Merry Maids that we use is located below our office off of Rt 123. We switched to them because they were so comfortably located and have been rewarded with a team of talented office cleaners that the switch should have happened years ago. That said, we couldn’t ask for two better

The company i used before,
the contact was to send 3 cleaning ladies to our house.

Most time were 5 ladies, because she used my house to train the new workers.

5 did a bad job & left the heavy traffic on my carpet.

The worst was to call her & not be able to ...,
so i called company tel # & got the unfriendly & was told to only call the contact her.
No office staff help.

The best cleaning on our needed services 👍 that
Carrie has been visiting our house for 3 years now & done it alone a super job.

My husband very cares a dust free home. My dry wipe with expensive ..., left dust in the air, even with the air clean machines.

I care about the clean carpet, my light weight vacuum never gave me the clean dry feeling after carrie vacuumed.
I knew the carpet is really clean now.

Best is, I can ask extra area be serviced, such as the now "garage .., oven, refrigerator ..., windows, ..."

The estimate was fair and delivered in a very timely manner. When I scheduled it there were significant weather delays but the Grant Bros team always kept me informed of the new date. Great service & work.
