We had used Nelson's to replace our AC/ Furnace about 10 years ago and were very pleased with the professionalism, quality of the work, and price.
So now that we needed a new hot water heater, it was a no-brainer to reach out to Nelson's again.
Once again, we are 100% satisfied with the service we received 👍👍👍

Walter was knowledgeable and polite. Hard to find people who work on gas fireplaces. I will continue to use Nelson’s to maintain mine.

Overpriced. They charge you for the visit, which is reasonable. But then they charged $320 for a $30-40 capacitor that took less than 10 minutes to replace. The service man was very good and polite, but to me this seems like pricing that's worse than for luxury cars. As for OEM parts, don't make me laugh. They didn't use the original capacitor from JARD and the exact capacitor used by the original manufacturer of the cooling unit costs under $12 on Amazon. Their part was bigger, made in Thailand and definitely not the same as OEM. Even if it were approved, why charge hundreds, when the original part as used by the original is usually sold between $10 and $12? Better parts cost a few dollars more.

Nelson's came to assess a situation with our oil furnace in a timely manner, did a good job explaning what was being done and is affordable! Would definitely recommend and use again.

My thermostat was no longer working, and Walter at Nelson's installed a new one. He verified that all other HVAC components were working and that only the thermostat was not operating with a battery or wire. I was happy to have the repair before the weather got too cold.

The technicians went above and beyond what I expected. They said their priority was not having a return trip, so they wanted to get things right. I very much appreciated the time they spent explaining the issues and ensuring we would have the best outcome.

This company is flat out the best. I’ve now had multiple great experiences with them. Today, Walter came out and really cared about not just fixing a specific problem but trying to optimize the system wherever possible. Honest, don’t overcharge, highly recommend!

Called for someone to come & quote me. There were there within 24hrs and the guy was chatty & polite. However, it took 9 days and 2 phone calls to get a quote. Sadly, that first quote didn't include everything we talked about. Even more sadly, after pointing that out to them the second quote didn't contain everything we talked about. Providing a simple quote in a timely fashion should be easy. I can't comment on the quality of their work.

First time using Nelson's HVAC. Scheduling was easy and technician Alex Castillo arrived on time and was professional and likeable. And the company's modern billing services makes payments easy peasy. I would recommend them.

Very disappointing experience. I had an appointment with a technician for a free estimate. The technician did not show up during the allotted time. After calling the office, he showed up an hour late. He could not clearly answer all of my questions, quoted me a price that was different than what was on the estimate sent to my email by a significant amount. Either he misspoke or the company decided to send me a higher price. Worst of all, he decided to drive his car on our grass when my wife had to get out to pick up my son since his van was blocking the driveway. Instead of pulling out of the driveway into the street, he decided to drive his van onto the grass at which point I had to run and tell him no. Made a mess on the grass and the driveway. Overall an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience. Can’t speak to the quality of their work.

Alex Castillo with Neslon’s was very knowledge, friendly and engaging. This was my first maintenance visit and he explained what he was doing and the benefits it would bring to my heating system. Looking forward to working with him or other technicians in the future.
They are fairly pricey, would recommend researching parts if you need to do a full repair.

Excellent service. Reported broken water heater the night before and the next day technician showed up and quickly installed a new one. Background: A few days prior technician had come out to relight pilot light and mentioned that heater was old with many problems and needed to be replaced. Within 48 hrs pilot light went out again, hence the replacement. Technicians also cleaned up the area before departing. Great service! Thank you!

Nelson HVAC installed a high-end crossover system for us last summer, and it has been a failure ever since. Four different technicians have attempted repairs since it was installed, to no avail. We are now stuck in a freezing winter relying on expensive emergency heat because our new heat pump doesn't work. As of now, we've endured weeks of service calls and over 15 hours of labor this winter still with the external heating unit not working. We are now told to wait until next week for the company to try and solve the problem.

Walter, the technician sent to our house by Nelson HVAC, LLC, is a master of his craft. He immediately recognized the problems affecting our central heating systems, and suggested several inexpensive ways to remediate these problems. Walter is highly professional, friendly, and amazingly knowledgeable.

I had my water heater replaced by Nelson’s HVAC, and I’m truly impressed. They were courteous, on time, fast, and charged a very fair price. Great workmanship and great people. Highly recommended!

I would never recommend this company. What should have been a standard HVAC installation turned into a complete nightmare that resulted in significant water damage to our home.
The installation process was a mess from the start—it took much longer than quoted and required multiple visits from different technicians who clearly weren’t on the same page. During the install, the team failed to properly set up the system, and multiple fail-safes failed to function, causing water to leak and soak through our entire carpeted loft.
While the company initially agreed to replace the carpet, the situation became much worse once we discovered early signs of mold. We reached out to inquire about having the subfloor tested for mold before the new carpet was laid—because common sense dictates you cannot put new flooring over a moldy subfloor—and they completely ghosted us.Their lack of communication and refusal to address the underlying health and structural issues they caused is extremely unprofessional. They are quick to take your money but will disappear the moment they cause "havoc" in your home. Save yourself the stress and the potential health risks—look elsewhere for your HVAC needs.

Absolutely amazing! We are a dog grooming small business, meaning lots of hair and clogs. Walter was awesome, professional, quick, and let us know what we had to do to keep our vents hair free! Will definitely continue to use Nelson's!
