Our heat pump stopped working and Air Treatment sent their very experienced tech over to resolve the issues. He spent much time diagnosing the problem and fixed all of it perfectly and cleaned everything up before leaving. He, also, shared with us very valuable information to help us in the future. We really appreciated all his efforts and suggestions. Thanks so much! We really appreciate it!

Same day service, very friendly staff. The technician took his time to explain what the issue was, what was causing it, and what the fix was.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. They said I needed a new AC unit. Nelson was the one that came by to diagnose the issue. He’s a nice man but running a bad operation. They sent me a proposal with 3 options and I chose the first option. They then came by to install the new system and didn’t bring everything I needed for an entirely new unit. I know nothing about HVAC systems so I assumed the option I chose was an option that would fix my issue. Nope. There was a big mess and I must say, Angie is an unpleasant one. Didn’t even apologize and had the audacity to be rude. Real winner there. Neil did call and apologize. For the life of me, I have no idea why they would include an option I didn’t need and wouldn’t fix the problem, but they did. Poor communication and operation. On top of that they changed the installment time without even telling me. I find out by getting a text with the new time. I had to call them to see what happened. The parts were late. Fine. A phone call would have helped to confirm that the new time would work instead of a text out of the blue. Complete amateur hour.

Great service lowest price. AC went out during summer season. I shopped around and Nelson's was the lowest cost. The day after Nelson's techs arrived as promised and had the new AC up and running in a few hours. We have a new AC before a heat wave to is going to hit. Nelson's is great.

Wilfredo is always on time with a smile and does a great job. He informs me what he’s doing, and offers good recommendations to maintain and improve our HVAC system. Nelson’s has reasonable pricing and employs great and highly qualified people!

Mauricio did a fantastic job servicing and restoring the AC system at the townhouse we stayed in Vienna, VA. He explained everything in detail and made the system look and function like new. Aside from a scheduling error on Saturday morning, Nelson's responded to our calls and requests quickly via phone, text, and email. Payment can be made in person and online. Very convenient.

Appointment was a breeze. Mr. H Nguyen came immediately and thoroughly and methodically checked the drainage issue of the AC unit. He had it fixed quickly and gave some tips for future maintenance care.

Daniel Lopez is amazing - my first time using Nelson's and I am incredibly impressed. Daniel arrived early, diagnosed the problem quickly, communicated what he saw thoroughly and fixed it with videos to show me exactly what he did. Daniel is the nicest, most professional service-person I have ever dealt with. I will definitely use Nelson's going forward!

The window was 10 to 12, the repairman did not come until 100 and he did not have the right part and had to wait until 230 to get it. I thought the work would be done by 2 but it wasn't finished until 515. My only complaint is about the time, not my interaction with the repairman or the quality of his work

Exceptional professional service! Due to a manufacturer’s defect discovered after Nelson’s installed a new unit to replace my dead HVAC, the entire new unit had to be replaced. Nelson’s worked into the night and weekend to get the new unit and replace it as soon as possible. Nelson’s went the extra mile by installing a portable cooling system to keep my main living areas comfortable while we waited for the new unit to arrive. Nelson’s also patiently helped me to connect and integrate the new smart home controls, and taught me how to use them! The owner and entire crew of workers stayed friendly and professional notwithstanding the grueling heat and humidity, and high demand for services brought on by peak summer conditions. My hvac unit of over 18 years finally went bust during one of the hottest weeks in VA. I came across Nelson's Hvac and decided to give them a call based on their reviews. The help desk folks were respectful and were quick to schedule an appointment to diagnose the issue. Eventually we decided the best course was to install a new unit. Was given a fair estimate along with info of the new unit's make, model ect. Had a group of professionals installers come in and got the job done within hours. They made sure to protect their path inside our home to prevent any damage to our floor and surroundings. After the complete installation, we had Niel who is the son of owner of Nelson's, come to inspect the installation and took his time to answer any of our questions and concerns. A very nice and knowledgeable man. I made this review almost a month after the install and everything is still running smooth. Definitely recommend this company to anyone in need, they will offer fair prices, will provide excellent service and customer service. 5/5

Wilfredo diagnosed our furnace today with a crack in the heat exchange. It was an old (2002) furnace and we decided to replace it. Felix came several hours later to install the new furnace. Excellent job and hard work from both. Highly recommend Nelson's for all your HVAC needs! April 2025

EDIT: Apparently Christian didn't actual solve my problem, and just reset the system so the code didn't show up for another day. Now they want to charge me $1200 to fix an install issue between a thermostat they installed and the HVAC system they installed at the same time.

EDIT: Neil from Nelson HVAC came out and ran the extra wire at their own expense using one of the best electricians I have worked with. Unfortunately, it did not solve the problem. Neil isn't sure what would solve the problem (which is why I reduced a star), but it appears to be a problem which will not impact the heating or cooling at all.

NELSON arrived on time and was very knowledgeable and professional. He immediately diagnosed my problem and will be sending me a quote later today.

My AC stopped cooling over the weekend and we were expecting a very hot week ahead. I called them first thing in the morning and was able to get a sane day appointment. Walter came to house, immediately got to work and assessed the problem pretty quickly. A part had to be replaced so he did the replacement and got the system working right away. Walter was very knowledgeable and didn’t try to upsell me. He brought certain issue that could be a problem to my attention and then finished the job. He was very professional and took care of the problem quickly. Very happy with the service and I will definitely use this company again. Pricing seemed fair and customer service was very good.
