I recently had additional HVAC vents installed in my basement and couldn’t be happier with the service. The technicians arrived right on time and were extremely polite and professional throughout the entire process. They completed the installation quickly without cutting corners, and their attention to detail was impressive.

What stood out most was that, after finishing the work, they took the time to walk me through everything they had done and answered all my questions. It was reassuring to see the quality of the installation firsthand.

Overall, it was a great experience—fast, courteous, and thorough. Highly recommend!

We lost our heat laid on a Friday afternoon. The technician came out after hours, about 5:30. He worked quite methodically and diligently until he was able to get our heat back on. He also had a nice friendly disposition and I enjoyed his sense of humor. It would’ve been a very cold weekend without his help. I have no hesitation in recommending these good people.

I can’t say enough good things about this company and specifically Mike. Other do so is used to take an hour to do the yearly maintenance visit. Mike takes at least 2.5 hours and last summer his visit was around 3.5 hours cleaning my ac unit outside which resulted in a 3 degree resuxtikn in the temperature and the system now runs much more efficiently ! He found some wiring mistakes from the previous contractor that he fixed as well. Overall they are honest, very qualified and knowledgeable, fair priced and very professional. Would recommend them 100% I can’t say enough good things about this company, and especially about Mike. Other companies usually take about an hour for a yearly maintenance visit, but Mike spends at least 2.5 hours. Last summer, his visit was closer to 3.5 hours because he thoroughly cleaned my outdoor AC unit, which resulted in a 3-degree temperature reduction and a system that now runs much more efficiently. He also identified and corrected wiring mistakes left by a previous contractor. Overall, this company is honest, highly qualified and knowledgeable, fairly priced, and extremely professional. I would recommend them 100% without hesitation.

I’ve been using Air Treatment Company for several years and have always been very happy with their service. Their staff are polite, knowledgeable, and always on time, and they keep me informed every step of the way. After a recent service, my unit wasn’t working properly and I wasn’t satisfied with how things turned out. After I expressed this to them, the owner personally called me to make it right and fixed my compressor free of charge. He called me every step of the way to give me updates and keep me informed. I was blown away by his dedication and genuine care for his customers. He and his team went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect and they’ve earned a customer for life. I highly recommend Air Treatment Company!

I continued with Air Treatment Heating and AC service since we bought the house 20 + years ago. The service has been wonderful with all the technicians we've had over the years. My units (1 furnace and 1 AC) have lasted their full life thanks to the annual service provided by Air Treatment. Highly recommend them!

I was looking to replace my entire HVAC system and Air Treatment was one of the 5 HVAC companies I reviewed (all highly rated). From the start, I was impressed. Chris Hunt, the sales representative, was professional and thorough in providing the options for my new system. Chris also provided the estimates in a timely manner and was very responsive to my many follow-on questions. The quotes he provided were competitive (or lower) with the other companies I interviewed. Given their reputation, Chris's professional and responsive support, competitive pricing and their other add-on's (longer labor warranty and 2 year free maintenance), I chose to go with Air Treatment.
After signing the contract we set up a time for the installation; which I had to later change due to a conflict. They were very accomodating with the change. Also, they were very accommodating when I had to ask them to pause after they removed the old system so that the duct cleaning company could conduct mold remediation in the duct work. The two installers, Brendan and Andreas were very pleasant and professional and patiently took the time to answer any questions I had. The final product looks great and operates well. During the installation, one of the owners, Dan, came by to deliver a part. I had the opportunity to speak with him. Very friendly and helpful with some questions I had. Last item: I had to communicate with the office staff several times (to arrange for an installation date, the pause for the mold remediation and to discuss some county inspection items). In each case the people I spoke with were very friendly and accomodating.
I would highly recommend this company to anyone who is looking for an HVAC installation or service.

A different HVAC company inspected my 7 year old HVAC and claimed to have found a bunch of catastrophic flaws and tried to pressure me into buying a new one immediately for what felt like a high price. I called Air Treatment for a free second opinion.

They called a few days out to confirm scheduling and request some additional details. The day of, the technician, Steve, was awesome! He arrived on time, and was super friendly, patient, and professional. He did a careful inspection of everything, with me peppering him with questions over his shoulder, and patiently explaining what he was looking at and providing some DIY maintenance tips. He ultimately concluded the system was in great shape and that "somebody was trying to sell us something". He also had some useful practical recommendations for improving the temperature and airflow in our home. No aggressive sales; just friendly competence.

As someone that doesn't know anything about HVACs, it means a lot to have a company I can trust!

Steve from Air Treatment and Heating & Cooling came on time and was very courteous when entering placed shoes covers on and went straight to work servicing my unit in efficient and timely manner. I was very pleased with the service. I pay for this service for two visits a year and it is very reasonable.

My wife found Air Treatment Heating and Cooling when we needed a new HVAC system installed in our condo, and the experience was excellent. Shortly after, I had an urgent need at our single-family home to inspect the system and rebalance airflow. I spoke with Dan (the owner), and it was genuinely refreshing to deal with someone who clearly cares and takes pride in the work.

Dan sent Mike out, and Mike was fantastic—easy to talk to, knowledgeable, and he got everything dialed in. I even learned we have three dampers I didn’t know existed. 🤷‍♂️

To add to my already positive review. We wanted to add a whole house humidifier after adding hardwood floors. I did my homework on which humidifier we wanted to get and Lilly discussed our options and placement of the unit. She provided some good information that I did not know, so we were very appreciative of that.

She also noticed a leak on our water heater expansion tank. It was on the backside so it wasn’t noticeable. Since the water heater was approximately 10-12 years old, we bundled the replacement in with the humidifier install and we couldn’t be more pleased with the install.

They do an amazing job, even the county inspector commented on how nice of a job that was done!

Our heat pump stopped working and Air Treatment sent their very experienced tech over to resolve the issues. He spent much time diagnosing the problem and fixed all of it perfectly and cleaned everything up before leaving. He, also, shared with us very valuable information to help us in the future. We really appreciated all his efforts and suggestions. Thanks so much! We really appreciate it!

Same day service, very friendly staff. The technician took his time to explain what the issue was, what was causing it, and what the fix was.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. They said I needed a new AC unit. Nelson was the one that came by to diagnose the issue. He’s a nice man but running a bad operation. They sent me a proposal with 3 options and I chose the first option. They then came by to install the new system and didn’t bring everything I needed for an entirely new unit. I know nothing about HVAC systems so I assumed the option I chose was an option that would fix my issue. Nope. There was a big mess and I must say, Angie is an unpleasant one. Didn’t even apologize and had the audacity to be rude. Real winner there. Neil did call and apologize. For the life of me, I have no idea why they would include an option I didn’t need and wouldn’t fix the problem, but they did. Poor communication and operation. On top of that they changed the installment time without even telling me. I find out by getting a text with the new time. I had to call them to see what happened. The parts were late. Fine. A phone call would have helped to confirm that the new time would work instead of a text out of the blue. Complete amateur hour.

Great service lowest price. AC went out during summer season. I shopped around and Nelson's was the lowest cost. The day after Nelson's techs arrived as promised and had the new AC up and running in a few hours. We have a new AC before a heat wave to is going to hit. Nelson's is great.

Wilfredo is always on time with a smile and does a great job. He informs me what he’s doing, and offers good recommendations to maintain and improve our HVAC system. Nelson’s has reasonable pricing and employs great and highly qualified people!

Mauricio did a fantastic job servicing and restoring the AC system at the townhouse we stayed in Vienna, VA. He explained everything in detail and made the system look and function like new. Aside from a scheduling error on Saturday morning, Nelson's responded to our calls and requests quickly via phone, text, and email. Payment can be made in person and online. Very convenient.

Appointment was a breeze. Mr. H Nguyen came immediately and thoroughly and methodically checked the drainage issue of the AC unit. He had it fixed quickly and gave some tips for future maintenance care.

Daniel Lopez is amazing - my first time using Nelson's and I am incredibly impressed. Daniel arrived early, diagnosed the problem quickly, communicated what he saw thoroughly and fixed it with videos to show me exactly what he did. The window was 10 to 12, the repairman did not come until 100 and he did not have the right part and had to wait until 230 to get it. I thought the work would be done by 2 but it wasn't finished until 515. My only complaint is about the time, not my interaction with the repairman or the quality of his work
