Randy was extremely responsive to a last minute call and came for an estimate the same day. He fit in the job the next day on his day off and made three trips to get the equipment and parts. He is knowledgeable and skilled at his craft while also possessing the rare small business skills of trustworthiness and personal, courteous customer service. He completed a quality job on a timely, efficient basis - a rare find these days! His employee, Jack, is also very courteous, friendly, conscientious, and skilled. A better team cannot be found! We are in the mist of a bathroom remodel, needing someone to help with the final touches. We contacted Randy. He came over looked at what we needed done and seemed to know what we wanted. He took some pictures and talked to my husband and I before leaving. Again he sounded like he could get the job done. It isn’t a huge project so we felt he was the guy for the job. Before leaving he told us he would have quote by the week instead. We didn’t hear from him until that following Monday saying he didn’t get the quote because he had to do some dog sitting. My husband and I understand things happen, but we haven’t heard from him and it’s been a week and two days. This is so unprofessional and wouldn’t recommend him. If the job was too small we would have understood.

After having several less than desirable dealings with General Contractors in the Hampton Roads area, I was nervous about calling someone else to tackle a job that I couldn't do myself. From my first interaction with Randy I knew he was the one that would do the job right, the first time, with fair and reasonable pricing. He knew I was on a tight time frame with my work and the house under contract to sell and came over on a Satirday morning to get the job done, and even completed another repair that I had that was not on the original order. I HIGHLY recommend Randy and VB Remodeling to anyone that wants fair, reasonable, professional, work that is perfect to the most discernible taste!! I will definitely call again!!

We started off the year with just a few plans to finish the remaining trim, upgrade the fireplace surround, update the master bath and do the “essential maintenance”. But because Randy was so accommodating, our list grew rapidly! His abilities exceeded our expectations with each new project. My son’s comment, who hadn’t been to the beach house since the Fall, was simply, “WOW”! The next big project will be to update the pool tiles and we can’t wait! We give VB Remodeling a well deserved 5+ Star Rating!

We had Randy out to renovate our master bathroom. I removed the existing shower stall, and he rebuilt it and tiled the new shower. He also ensured our plumbing was leak-free and secure. The results are fantastic and we love the new bathroom! A few months later we had a couple issues with the shower, and he came right out and fixed them- no questions asked. He stands by his work, and is an excellent craftsman. I wouldn't hesitate to call him again for any remodeling work!

Randy and his helper are very professional with all the different jobs that they have done for us. They go above and beyond and are there without any hesitation to making sure that the job is done right. My wife and I are very impressed and only met Randy recently and feel like we have known in for a long time. He gets the work done fast and accurate and we will absolutely use only Randy in the future for more projects.

We had been wanting to have our tub removed and replaced with a shower for a long time. We found VB Remodeling by accident, but it was the best accident EVER! Randy and his crew were so the best! He completed the work quickly and the quality and outcome were just what we wanted. Jeff and I happily recommend them to everyone who will listen.

Randy Glaze recently completed a bath remodel that included replacing our fiberglass shower and linoleum floor with porcelain tile. I was immediately impressed by Randy’s professionalism and strong work ethic. Once he starts a project, he sticks with it till completion. Randy kept us informed throughout the renovation. He provided guidance on where to purchase our tile so we could get the best value for our money, and worked with us to incorporate existing fixtures into the redesign.
We purchased a shower door from a third party, and Randy returned to oversee the installation of the door and apply the finishing touches to the project.
We are extremely satisfied with the work Randy performed. He finished the project on time, and we will definitely consider VB Remodeling for future projects.

I met Randy through these reviews .everyone they said the same about punctuality, professionalism and so on. I called him he pick up the phone and I found he is very friendly. We made an appointment next day and he came on time . I told him I want to remodel the bathroom and show him the problem.Randy is very honest and straightforward. My husband heard the conversation then he told me that is the guy I want to work in our home. Call him now to start the work we might not get him . I called him to give us the estimate I found it is very reasonable compared to others. We learn alot from him and we just trust him to do and leave him alone. Both of us we are busy and just leave it to Randy and his crew. We have faith on him he will give us a dream bathroom and he really did it. We consider him as our own family and trust him.Otherwise I don't think we can leave our home to someone we don't know. But with Randy we trust him he treat us as his own family and take care our house like his own.Now we got a dream bathroom and it look expensive. We had our master bathroom completely gutted by Randy and his team. He did a really great job at turning a terrible bathroom into a beautiful one. He also does a great job of treating the customer professionally and honestly; moreover, he was willing to work within our budget, which we hugely appreciated. On top of all that, he was great with my kids and dogs which scores big points with me :) We would definitely recommend Randy, and will use his services again in the future!

Randy is top notch in all he does. We had a 2nd story porch off our master bedroom that was never used. We envisioned turning it into a home office to better utilize the space. Immediately, Randy understood the vision was able make it into a reality. I travel often for work, and while I was away, he was great and trusted him in our house with our dog and kids! He even voluntarily helped me when I had an issue with the siding contractor while I was out of the country. He then found a new guy to do the job the next day! Would recommend 100%!

About the projects:
As soon as we moved into our new home, Randy and his team immediately began work on several projects in our home. The biggest project, a complete bathroom remodel, was a smooth process from start to finish. After a very thorough consultation in which we discussed the entire project, what to expect, timeline, and cost, we gave the green light to get started. Randy and his team were always on time, showing up bright and early at 8AM to start work. They had to remove an existing shower, move the plumbing, demo a closet, remove a tub, remove the floor, and put everything back together. They installed a new shower, tub, and floor. This was in 2018 and, to this day, everything still looks fantastic and works perfectly.

Since the master bath remodel, we have called Randy back for several projects. He has added stacked rocks to our fireplace accent wall, installed an outdoor utility sink, installed multiple large sliding barn doors, remodeled our laundry room, and many other miscellaneous projects we’ve come up with over the years.

I would happily work with Randy on any project. I trust his instinct and know the task will be completed to my standards and expectations. You will not regret working with Virginia Beach Remodeling!

Randy removed our old shower door & installed a new one. I contacted him the day the new door arrived & he came over that afternoon to unpack it & check it out. The next afternoon Randy installed our new door & the following day he came back to make sure everything was perfect. And it was!
Our next job for Randy: our master bath shower. Old tile removed, new plumbing & tile installed. I have complete confidence in his craftsmanship.
