These guys helped a local solar company set up our pool solar. That company then decided not to follow that direction and left the area without any expertise. Six years later when we had some issues solar services spent lots of phone tech support time and texting until we sorted it out. They made no cash for this work, but we love them.

Installed a level 2 EV charger outlet Got the quote in an instant which was very competitive. The whole staff was very courteous and responsive. Filed the permit in a timely manner and got the job done within a week and passed the inspection. Would highly recommend.

A few years ago, I had 7 4x10 panels installed to heat my pool. This year, I had another 2 panels added to my system to eek out a little more swimming time each season.

My pool is 20x40 (30k gal) and I do not use a solar blanket, so my pool loses a lot of heat overnight.

These panels make all the difference in the world! They have easily added six weeks to each end of the swimming season. In full sun, it is not uncommon to see a 10-12 degree increase in pool temp.

The first few years I had the pool, I debated if the cost of solar pool heat was worth the return in swimming comfort. Now, after operating this system for several years my only regret is I did not do it sooner.

Solar Services is top-notch! They took great care of my roof, gutters and pool deck during the installation. Many installers do not like a homeowner to watch them while they work, but the SOlar Services team actually welcomed my presence. They carefully and thoroughly explained everything they were doing, and thwy walkes me theouhh the operation of my system when they were finished.

From the first insteraction I had on the phone with them to waving goodbye as they did their final walk of my driveway after my install, the entire team was friendly and exceptionally helpful.

On additional note - I was a bit concerned my pool pump would struggle a bit or wear out a bit faster because it had to pump water through the rooftop panels, but my 10 yo pump is strong as ever.

Just had two solar fans put into my roof at my home in Norfolk Virginia.

I was very impressed by the quickness & neatness displayed by the installers. Bill the foreman & I think the younger guy was Tom were great, friendly & knew what the hell they were doing. The fans themselves are of a superior quality & were worth the investment when I saw them. Just remember to register your "LIFETIME" warranty within 90 days.

Arthur & Ed in the office were equally as nice & accommodating to me when designing, placing & scheduling the installation.

Can' say enough good things about this company, a throwback to the old days!

If you are even thinking of Solar, you must talk with Solar Services. They have been a local (Virginia Beach) Solar business for 35+ years. Local is important! I am a solar family with Dad putting solar in the 70’s! My son is an Energy Engineer. I know most of the other solar ‘sellers’ in this area and Solar Services will be honest, skilled, provide the best products and installation -AND be there long after installation. I’m happy to talk with you if you have any questions.

Had solar panels installed on two houses. Solar services were an excellent experience from start to finish. They don’t try to up-sell or overpromise like other solar companies did to get you to commit. I’m getting better production from my system then other people with the same size system that paid more then twice as much from large national companies. If you’re looking at going solar make sure you call solar services first.

This company installed my Pool solar panels 7 years ago and the system is rock solid. I called this morning for assistance, as my aqua plus control panel settings seemed to have changed. They spent the time on the phone to walk through all the settings and I was able to get the solar working properly again. A+ service to this company.

I purchased solar pool heating panels from this company in March 2016.
I may have had unreasonable expectations of what it could do for my pool in April because even though the pool would heat up during a sunny day, it would loose the heat at night. It would take all day to recover that heat. Once I got to May though it was a different story. I used my pool more before Memorial Day than I used to use it all summer prior to having the panels. In the summer it is very easy to maintain the temp that I want (89 degrees). I was in the pool every day and loved it. When I jacked the temp up to 94 degrees, people were complaining it was too hot. I love my system. It is the best money we've spent on home improvements. The system is simple and carefree, and costs nothing to operate. I opted for a digital readout of the pool temp I can see from my
kitchen window, so I always know exactly what I have

I contacted Solar Services after my original solar company Titan completely messed up my panels. Solar Services fixed everything and the communication is great! I highly recommend them.

My experience with Solar Services from evaluation for the number, choice of solar panels and best orientation on my roof proceeded faultlessly.
The front desk kept me updated as to the arrival of my selected panels and scheduled prompt service.
The installers arrived as scheduled. They were extremely courteous and professional in attitudes and craftmemship. I say this will all respect because when finished ( one day ) my property was only altered by the panels and wire conduits. Anyone not present during the installation would not know work at been accomplished on my home;both, inside and out. A most clean job, no clean up needed by me.

I've had my solar system running for one year. It's been performing as expected and support after sales has been top notch with Solar Services. They had the best quote and did an excellent job with installation.

The sales staff was very knowledgeable about all the aspects of the system. The installation was fast and well done. They worked well with my electric coop, came back twice to check my system, are always willing to answer any question and my last 2 electric bills have been --$2.00. We are very happy with Solar Services.

I had three different solar installers come to give me quotes. Arthur at Solar Services Inc was by far the most knowledgeable of the three. I have a gambrel (barn) style roof with 4 separate pitches.

One installer (not Solar services) wanted to put panels on the two southern pitches (which I initially wanted too). Arthur said that the city wouldn't allow panels on the lower slope. He was later proven correct when I was informed that the lower pitch was too steep for panels.

Another installer (not Solar Services) wanted to put panels only on the south facing upper pitch. He said panels on the north wouldn't generate enough current to be worthwhile. He backed this up with a thermal reading (that I didn't really understand).
Solar Services wanted to put 10 panels each on the two upper (north and south) pitches for a total of 20 panels. They said that the angle of the north pitch was shallow enough to make it worthwhile. Over the last 2 months (Sep+Oct) the north slope has produced exactly 74% of the south slope kWh. In my opinion this easily justifies the extra expense.

Speaking of expense, Solar Services was the only one to offer a lower price for a straight out purchase instead of financing through a 3rd party, which is the only option presented by the other installers. I was in a position to buy my panels outright which will allow my panels to pay for themselves much sooner (estimate 8yrs) if current rates don't increase (yeah, right!).

The installation of my Tesla Wall connector went flawlessly. I was pleasantly surprised at the reasonable cost considering it was installed outside on the opposite side of the house. The entire team from the estimator to the installers were completely professional. All permits were filed and the city inspector was pleased with the technically solid install. I highly recommend.

Solar Services installed my solar pool heating system in April 2009. In all that time, I only needed them to service the system once, in 2018, when snow and ice pulled out one of the straps and they came out right away. That doesn’t mean I didn’t call them over the years with questions…I did and they were always so helpful and free with their guidance. In the spring, I had my screened in porch redone and the contractor had to cut the pvc pipes to the system. My misstep was to allow him to reconnect them. Right after he did it, I was concerned so I called Solar Services, sent them a bunch of pictures, and arranged for them come out right after the pool opened. Thank goodness I did. The contractor used the wrong glue (and glued over paint), used the wrong pvc, set the wrong angle which would have inhibited proper draining, etc…scary to think of the consequences. Bill carefully redid everything properly and thoroughly. Now that is was done by a professional, I can enjoy the pool without worrying. I cannot recommend Solar Services highly enough. Clearly they use the best products and their customer support is outstanding.

Excellent Service! I just had everything installed, and so far, their customer service, knowledge of their products, and reliability have been exceptional! They even went above and beyond in repairing a leak that I had on my roof. Starting with Will and Ed that came out to my home to explain their products, to talking to the office staff, Sue, Arthur, and Tina Marie, and ending with Thomas and his crew installing the panels, etc. It was all a very pleasant and professional experience. There was never any drama, rudeness, or negativity. I highly recommend this company! In fact, I already have recommended them to a neighbor/friend!

I had a wonderful experience with the dedicated customer service of Solar Services, Inc. My former company solar company filed for bankruptcy leaving me without a solar service provider. I called a large area solar company and felt just like a number to them with long hold times and poor customer service. Then I decided to continue my search and found this local big-little company, Solar Services. They went right to work for me in getting my Generac system back on line! I know they spent many hours communicating with Generac to get my system repaired and operating correctly.

Solar services is my go-to company for all things solar and EV. They expertly installed solar on the roof of my last home, installed an EV charger in my garage, and then relocated my EV charger to my new home this year. Professional, timely, and very knowledgeable, 5-stars without hesitation!

They did a good job installing a charger and a Nema outlet in the garage. Everything looked tight and passed inspection. Make sure to shop around because there was a huge price difference ($1000+) in install quotes.
