I chose Josh Allen after reading reviews of his work on Nextdoor.com. I actually had him come out three times over a two week period to fix several problems. The first two involved circuit breaker problems. One of which was an emergency repair, the other a long standing nuisance issue. After being impressed with his professionalism and the quality of his work, we had him return to repair and upgrade an electrical circuit we have that serves our backyard. This has a couple of outdoor lights and several outdoor outlets that encompass the perimeter of our yard. He was able to quickly troubleshoot fried outlets and wiring and install new receptacles, wiring and junction boxes where needed. Josh was always on time, communicated clearly, provided top of the line equipment and was always courteous. He is a one man show so you don’t have to worry about subcontractors. I believe his pricing to be fair. After our first visit we were convinced that Josh was going to be our go to guy for any future electrical needs. We highly recommend him!

Shout out to all my neighbors on "Hi Neighbor" who recommended Josh Allen for installation of my 240v outlet. I was not disappointed. He performed the work in a professional manner and the cost was reasonable. He finished all the work on time and it was a pleasure to do business with him. I recently had Allen Electrical upgrade an electrical panel and install a Tesla wall charger in my garage. From start to finish this was the most professional and positive service experience. Josh was very responsive to my initial request. Even though my first call was missed he immediately responded to me via text with inquires about my request and contacted me in a short amount of time for additional details and to set up a time for an onsite quote.

When he came out for the quote he was very thorough in diagnosing what was necessary and gave me a couple of different options on how this project could be accomplished. He included me as part of the discussion with his input of technical know-how and the possible solution(s) to my needs which I appreciated.

After going back to his office and researching what was definitely needed for my job, he emailed me a contract within a day giving me the cost of the two options we had agreed on during his visit. The prices were more than reasonable for the job as I compared his quote and the scope of the work he would perform versus other quoted prices that did not provide the same service.

After scheduling the job option that I accepted he arrived onsite with the equipment, permits and parts he needed to complete the job. As he did the job he was more than open to allow us to observe and he explained step by step what he was doing and what it affected. He was very meticulous in his work and ensured that everything was installed neatly and properly labeled.

Absolutely the best service! If I could rate his service 10 stars I would.

Josh is a Master Electrician whose talent exceeds the title. Our project involved a house built in the 50s with old electrical outlets. I was nothing but impressed with Josh Allen of Allen Electrical Services. He was not only extremely knowledgeable and obviously qualified he took the time to explain everything he was doing over two days of service at my house and fielded all of my questions without hesitation. I was able to schedule Josh very quickly to help my client with securing wiring in the crawl space when selling his house. Mr. Allen does great work! My husband & I bought a house with a lot of faulty DIY wiring, which most happened to not be grounded. He has had to replace wires (going under our house & in our attic), make our backyard floodlight legal & will be giving us another estimate for a new electric box due to another project. I have been meaning to write this review for some time now. Josh did a number of electrical jobs for my husband and me; from installing new ceiling light fixtures, swapping out light fixtures for ceiling fans and running electric service to our shed. He did an amazing job and we hope to have more work done by him in the future.
